I guess she’s offered every yellow-based pink, gold, coral, peach, bronze, and brown eyeshadow there is to offer, so why not just recycle some of them and call it a sunset palette — how original can she be? YES, I’m always in a mood when it comes to CT, BUT if this palette is your color story, you don’t own any CT, you’ve always wanted to try CT, and you haven’t brought any ‘sunset’ eyeshadows in the past three years, then here’s your chance. ?

Not sure there really is such an individual, unless he/she has been living on the space station, or in a research station in Antarctica. CT does not work for me, either. Fiona Stiles was far better, color wise. CT always reads to me like all the foundations and concealers that pull yellow and clash in a torrent of warmth.

This looks very similar to the CT EASY PORTABLE SMOKY EYE PALETTE Nordstrom Anniversary Exclusive a while ago. Is it the same palette??

At first I thought this was the same as the Nordstrom anniversary palette, but can see the photos near each other and know it’s different. Still, they said they’re recycling shades so I can talk myself out it!

You know, I do love seeing a brand pick a niche that they’re good at and stick to it, which is what it looks like Charlotte Tilbury is doing with the rosy-brown-warm-neutral shades. More power to her; those shades are unintimidating, pretty easy to use, and generally flattering for most people, so it’s a lucrative niche. But it does make me wonder why CT keeps releasing ostensibly “different/new” palettes if she’s just gonna use the same or extremely similar shades. Personally, I’d rather see repromotions or new ad campaigns with the same old product rather than be told it’s “NEW!” and “LIMITED EDITION SELL-OUT.” Just my thoughts on the brand’s strategy.

My love/hate relationship with CT keeps me from buying anything e/s related. I pretty much stick to Lip Cheats and Lipsticks from CT. Her e/s formula never worked for me but recently, in answering another question or making a comment, Christine mentioned that her newer shadows are better so maybe worth a try. I have seen this shadow used on IG photos and I have to admit, it made for a really pretty eye look but I am not particularly tempted given the almost $60 price tag for 6 shades.

I have the stars in your eyes palette and I’m a bit annoyed haha. If I knew Charlotte was going to come out with this, I would’ve held off on buying the whole palette because I don’t really use the other shades as much as I do these ones! Is this palette permanent? If so, I’ll be happy to know there’s a backup once I pan the ones in my original palette!
