Pat McGrath Ritualistic Rose + Chromeluxe Hi-Lite Swatches
Here are swatches of the new Pat McGrath Ritualistic Rose Blitz Astral Eyeshadow Quad and Chromeluxe Hi-Lite Creams ($30.00 each). Edit: Wow, I forgot to actually complete the text of this post! The two Chromaluxe Hi-Lite creams spewed product out upon opening, even after I unraveled the end of the second tube (it actually worsened), but it did eventually stop.
I bought ritualistic rose as a complement to my existing PMG stash. It has been shipped, but still not here. Sometimes, I feel her palettes have to be seen in person. As a standalone, it doesn’t do much for me, but I see it working well with my others.
I’m glad I didn’t purchase the quad yet. It’s pretty but not pretty enough to spend $65 on.
Agree.. I did purchase the Iconic Illumination one and am waiting for it. That was the only one that I could see myself wearing.
When will this be available in Sephora?

Those eye images are way prettier than I thought they would be. What is the texture of the Hi-Lite cream–does it dry down? Are you wearing it on your cheeks in your pics (or also on the eyes)? The eye colors are so complex I’m wondering if you’ve maybe put some highlight cream on the shadows?

I am so torn about this quad. The colour story is in my preferred shades and I am going out on a limb and saying that the formula is amazing. Other videos on YT and personal reviews from Temptalia readers seem to indicate that it is a winner. My problem is that I have so many of these types of shades so it is hard to justify spending so much for four shadows. I fear I may suffer severe FOMO over the next couple of days/weeks. So hard to decide. Maybe some readers will have input that indicates why they love it or hate it or just aren’t buying it for any reason except the price. I get that the price will be a factor for most people. I of course, await your review, Christine. The look details say the lippie is PMGL Emmanuelle which looks amazing with the eye look and since it appears slightly different from the original review I am going to assume it is the gloss. It is very pretty.
I ordered this set. Now I’m not sure why, lol. Oh well, adding to the stash….
So glad I ordered Ritualistic Rose, the colors are gorgeous. I wasn’t tempted by the two creams but pale gold is gorgeous.
I didn’t pick up the pale gold either, but I love how it seems to walk the line between gold and silver. If it lives to November, maybe I’ll pick it up at next Sephora sale.
If the Chromeluxe Hi-Light Creams dry down, I’m going to need at least one! I can see the Blue one doing some phenomenal things used in conjunction with the Nocturnal Nirvana quad and also smokier eye looks, like TF Soleil Neige.
Ritualistic Rose is beautiful, but not something I just have to have, either. Tempting, though, based off your eye looks!

Went ahead and bought it. I just couldn’t resist, since I’m a big fan of her products. I’m still torn about the other two quads, but something about this one just pulled me in, and made me do it. haha
These looks are gorgeous and I agree with Genevieve that the quad would have been beautiful with a a smoky purple in place of that gold. I am actually more interested in the Chromeluxes. Especially love that pale gold, but don’t need it.
You created such a lovely eye look! I picked up Nocturnal Nirvana…they’re my colors. Wearing the green with my Viseart palette today! The cream shadows are intriguing and I can’t wait to read your review. :o)
