What look did you actually end up wearing for New Year’s Eve? Share your pictures (if you have ’em!) or give us a nice product run-through or description of what your end-result was like.

I ended up wearing a tissue! And no makeup!
I was sick and didnt get to go out.
I was watching a movie when the clocked ticked over. I didnt even know it was after 12 till I started getting smsed by my friends who were out having fun.
OK I admit it: No 2 or 12 Lashes this year…simply because I forgot to check if the lash glue was yet useable! Grrrr! Oh well…there’s always next year! 🙂
I wore Silveraura Mineralize Powder on my cheeks and did my eyes with Sweet Sienna pigment (which I now absolutely love and need to buy a complete jar from!), Shroom e/s and a lashline of Meadowland e/s (that reminded me a lot of Parrot!)
No pics of that look but I can show you a pic of my first attempt with Konad plates which the 9 month old host’s son seemed to enjoy! 😀
I did a rather tame version of your orange, pink and blue eye (with gold instead of orange and less bold), with Stark naked blush and a pink lipstick (from Avon). It looked pretty good at the end. 🙂
Jade Way tk/l smudged with Spiritualize p/m on upper and lower lashline topped with Gold Wood glitterliner (Make Up Store)on upper lashline and fake lashes. On my cheeks Merrily m/b with Hush CCB as highlighter. Lips lined with Cranapple, with Impassioned l/s and a transparent pink gloss (Make Up Store)on top. Really simple and ekstremely fast.
I did a pinkish look which I did for the first time and I liked it!
I used:
*chanel primer
*clinique concealer
*clinique foundation
*MAC studiofix powder
*Est
I did a simple silver eye with cobalt eyeliner (Stila smudgepot), tons of mascara, a bit of silver glitter (Collection 2000) just at the outer lash line and really red lips (MAC red and Sephora Glamour lips G13). For my cheeks, just a touch of pink blush.
I startet doing my face with MAC Studio Fix NW20 and Bronzing Powder in Golden. for my eyes I used Painterly Paint Pot as a base, then applied e/s Vanilla on the whole eye area, Satin Taupe on the lid and White Frost in the inner v and under the eyebrow. I used MACs Slate as a liner and Plush Lash mascara. C-Thru on the lips. I finished with MACs Iridescent Powder in Silber Dusk on my lids, under my browbow, on my nose and my cheeks. Thats all.
I used the smokey eye palatte, and some Reflects Glitter in the crease. I did a fairly neutral lip with Politely Pink l/s and Nymphette l/g over it.
I used:
– Studio Fix NC30
– Barbie blush
– pigments: Heritage Rouge, Violet, & Pink Peral
– e/s in Cloudburst, & Apres-Ski
– Rave liner and, on top, Violet Trance e/s
– Hollywood Nights (Heatherette) l/s and She-Boom lipgelee
I was inspired by the Dame Edna colors & esp. Gladiola l/s which, to my surprise I can really rock and I really love it! I have bought all 3 Dame Edna l/s!

Forgot to mention that I had pink glitter in the inner crease and blue/purple glitter in the outer crease… 🙂

I had purple mascara and I also wore the Fafi Sassed-Up iridescent powder on top. Also, I mentioned earlier that I used the Apres-Ski e/s, but after checking, it was Wintersky.
I did a purpleish burgundy eye, to match my dress, and my ridiculous tranny shoes.
I wore the purple color from the spiced chocolate quad on my lid, I blended that with a burgundy color from Pop Smokey eye palette, then in the crease I used carbon, and for my highlight I used Nanogold.
On my lips I had Belle De Jour with Bateaux lustreglass
Cheeks I had gingerly blush
Oh and my lashes were ridiculously looooooooooonnnngggg! I had ardell 1 something..lol 105!
I did a cat eye and a nude/pale lip to bring out my inner Kim Kardashian! Everyone loved the lashes and thought they were real!!! LOL!

I just did a smokey eye.
I wound up doing something similar to the smokey dark blue look you posted a while back, only I used violet pigment on the lid and naval blue pigment on the outer corner and crease (I forgot to mention using vellum on the inner corner and browbone, shu uemura e/s in me silver in the middle of lid and using fluidline in macroviolet on my top lashline and lining my waterline with urban decay 24/7 eyeliner in zero). Completing my look was a neutral blush duo from rimmel whose name escapes me at the moment and the darker pink and gloss from the 3 cool lips palette. I must have done something right b/c I got a few compliments from strangers:-)
I bought a whole bunch of Stila stuff from beautycrunch.com’s sale last week. I wore a whole Stila look using the Fall 08 chocolate palette (includes eyeshadows and a blush), I used one of their glosses in a color called Sweet, and their Major Lash Mascara. Foundation was MAC SFF, Bobbi Brown concealer, and MAC Cream O’Spice lipliner.
It’s my first foray into Stila products and I’m VERY impressed. I absolutely love the palette and it’s versatility!!
Clothes-wise, I wore a silk ombre top (shades from gray to champagne), jeans, and high-heeled black boots. Hubs and I went to dinner at Cheesecake Factory with our little 2 year old. It was a lot of fun!
i went neutral, prescriptives matte white on the inner lid, then naked pigment on outer lid, then nyx rust e/s in the crease then vanilla pigment under the brow bone..i had church as well so i decided to keep it ‘safe’ haha…oh and nude lips..myth lipstick with bubble it up vicky secret beauty rush gloss.
A bit of blush, Studio Fix powder, BadGal and lip blam. Me + Drinking + Makeup = never good.
I ended up wearing a really black smokey eye with my bright red dress. Blacktrack, Carbon, this dark sparkly gray from the Coastal Scents 88 Palette, Black Tied, and a highlight from the 88 palette as well. I wanted to use lashes but I ran out of time. I don’t wear foundation daily, but last night I went all out.

I did a smokey eye. I used Matte(gel like thing from MAC) all over face and lids. I used Blacktrack as a base. I put Carbon on top of that. I put Crystal Avalanche eyeshadow on the inner corner and on my brow bone and to smoke the black out. I used Dazzlelash mascara. I had on MoistureBlend foundation with Mineralize Skinfinish powder to set. I had Nars Orgasm blush. I didn’t want to use red, so I had on Decorative lustreglass with a Dazzleglass(forget the name, but it was hot pink with blue-ish/purple sparkles.
i wore naked lunch on the inner third, steamy in the middle, and hepcat in the outer corner and dragged into the crease. shroom was my highlight. i did eyeliner with a wing (blacktrack), and engraved on the waterline. nars orgasm as a blush, and highlighted with soft and gentle. my lips had viva glam V lipstick and rich and ripe lipglass. i loved it!
nothing. i was too lazy to put on my contacts. oh wellz. it was just fam. 🙂

Went to a party with my SO and his family (family friend’s place) so I did a nice neutral smokey eye with the left side of the MAC Smokey Eye Palette, and then did fairly fresh, neutral face and red/coral l/s from the Coral Lips palette. I probably spent the most time trying to curl my lashes right, unstick them and put on mascara, I’m such a n00b, haha. It was a fun, fairly tame, night though, and everything stayed on really well and I only had to touch up Satin Taupe in my crease about 5 hours in.

not one product. i’m really sick, plus was just hanging out at home with my best friend (we do it every year, dinner and drinks at home to avoid the idiots) so i didn’t even care.
Me too – I was under the weather so spent the night watching Planet Earth on dvd.
i kept things very simple because i was out since 4 in the afternoon! and i didn’t want to have to bring too much stuff with me to touch up… i had on:
– mac bare study paint pot on the lid, not above crease
– black eyeliner on waterline and white eyeliner on the inner corners
– maybelline define a lash on top and bottom lashes
– mac enough said beauty powder blush

There is a huge difference between the original and the reformulated Platinum. First one is very bright, close to silver, second one is very dark, looks like a medium grey. But it turned out nice anyways.

HAHA i put loreal hip duo…forgot the name but it’s bright silver on one side and black with blue glitter on the other side…i put the silver all over lid and the black in the crease…then i went and sat on my couch very uneventful lol
