Zoeva at Ulta!

Zoeva Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette
Zoeva Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette

Ulta’s launched Zoeva online, which is only a very limited selection of products that Zoeva offers, but it certainly makes me excited for the future (especially newer Zoeva launches).  Zoeva does ship direct (free shipping over $100 US), and the brand can also be purchased through Beauty Bay (free tracked shipping on $50+),  which carries the eyeshadow palettes for $23.50 (a bit cheaper than either direct or through Ulta), so it’ll depend on what products you’re shopping for and what you end up paying for shipping/how long it might take.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! I’m excited about this, Nabla and Kiko Milano. I never purchased from them bc they were overseas. I know it’s a limited supply but I’m happy to try. I bought a blush from Kiko and really love it. I’m hoping Ulta will carry Inglot next:)

Being the biggest Zoeva Hoo…with 16 palettes in stash, you bet I jumped on Basic Moment and the other one I did not necessarily crave, Melody. My faves of Ulta’s offerings are Cocoa Blend and the Spice of Life HL. The latter is more of a shimmer blush on me: deposits quite a bit of color. SOL HL seems somewhat of an anomaly for Zoeva, as so many products seem aimed at light to medium skintones, and hardly feel diverse. Current disagreement w/Zoeva is d/c of colored eyeliners (most are very nice) and quite a few palettes. Ulta is not carrying the liquid lips, which are quite comfortable, even in the matte formula. Hope they increase the selection and carry more brushes, which are super for the price point.

I started with the cooler neutrals and never got to the greens, purples, etc. Not that I need them. Taupe, Mute, and Nude Reflection might be my all time faves. The reds are nice, as well. Always kind of wanted the big box, but so many would be duped. I hope they reissue. Maybe i’ll select Germany and Deutsch as my country/ language and see if they d/c’d them in the Vaterland as well. Suspect so.

I find them to be most similar to It brushes. There are hair, mix hair/synthetic, and even vegan brushes. The price point is excellent. I’ve filled in holes in brush stash during their holiday f&f. They may not be SG, WG, or a Hodo, but they are serviceable and hold up to cleansing.

I haven’t tried It brushes. I’m looking for a good synthetic set, especially for travel. I have BH brushes but their eye brushes are too soft to pick up harder pressed eyeshadow. Are the eye brushes firm?

Speaking of Ulta launches that just happened, did anyone else notice Sunday Riley is now at Ulta?? I’m not sure how I missed that. Their marketing debacle aside, I find SR products work really well on my skin so I’m excited. HOWEVER. Right now I’m more excited about the Zoeva launch and I’m throwing stuff in my Ulta cart right now. Has anyone tried their lip gloss? I haven’t yet and wondering if anyone has any thoughts/recommendations?

I have never tried any Zoeva products although my daughter loves the brand. I didn’t think to look for any while we were in Europe but frankly, makeup wasn’t a big priority to us while there. I will have to pay more attention to the brand. Palette looks nice if a bit mundane. I am liking that Ulta is picking up so many new brands.
