Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Eye product you’ve loved the longest?
Are brows considered eyes? 😆 They’re around the eye area and Benefit Gimme Brow is one of my longest loves (I think only Estee Lauder Double Wear would be longer); I miss so much the old packaging, I quite of dispose the cheap looking silver wand of the range.
If it’s not allowed, I’ll go with Urban Decay Primer Potion.

Lip product you’ve loved the longest?
My love affair with MAC Diva might not be decades long, but it’s strong enough to compensate.

Cheek product you’ve loved the longest?
MAC Harmony. I have never worn cheek products (neither bronzer or blush, contouring wasn’t even known to me), until my first MAC make-up session I booked for an event. I was afraid of looking bad, but I was amazed (and still am) how subtle but flattering is that specific shade on me.

Eye product you’ve loved the longest? MAC single eyeshadows. My favorite shades have changed over the years, so there isn’t one that I’ve loved longer than any other. And though I’ve been using MAC’s eyeshadows for more years than any other brand, it doesn’t mean they’re my favorites…at the moment, at least. Hmmm, this question is harder than it looks!

Lip product you’ve loved the longest? MAC lipstick is the brand of lip product that I’ve been using longer than any other. Like MAC eyeshadows, my favorites keep changing, so there isn’t one shade in particular that I can say I’ve loved the longest.

Cheek product you’ve loved the longest? NARS Orgasm. At least that was an easy answer.

Ana Maria Avatar

While I haven’t loved MAC single eyeshadows the longest, I’m quite keen on my curated singles Pro Palette. But I despise MAC seems to have discontinued lately all the shades I loved for longest. 😆
That’s the curse of long loves, items end up discontinued or reformulated.

Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.

Eye product you’ve loved the longest? Colourpop Super Shock Shadows.

Lip product you’ve loved the longest? Black Moon Liquid Lipstick in Harvest.

Cheek product you’ve loved the longest? MUFE Sculpting Duo 01, with the bronzer and pinky highlight.

Your skin tone/coloring: Cool toned, fair with pink undertones.
Eye product you’ve loved the longest? Bulletproof from Sugarpill. I’ve used it as eyeliner daily for almost 3 yrs now.
Lip product you’ve loved the longest? MAC’s lip pencil in Spice.
Cheek product you’ve loved the longest? TheBalm’s Mary-Lou Manizer.

Eye product you’ve loved the longest? Cover Girl Super Sizer Mascara. As far as e/s go it would be MAC Omega and Nylon and Chanel New Moon.
Lip product you’ve loved the longest? Chanel Rouge Coco Shines and Max Factor Liptensity which was the first liquid lipstick launched. I wore them to work for a 12 hour shift at the hospital and to this day they are the most comfortable formula and the longest wearing I have ever tried. Too bad Max Factor pulled out of the U.S. market. They had a lot of products that I really loved.
Cheek product you’ve loved the longest? I was never a big blush fan until the last couple of years and then I have had a resurgence over the past couple of months. Having said that, my longest and loved would be the Milani “rose” blushes and Luminoso. I don’t love Luminoso but it was a good alternative to Nars Orgasm which I didn’t want to invest in since I wasn’t sure the shade was going to work for me. I am glad I didn’t because their are other blushes in a similar colour that I like the formula more. I still feel “robbed” that Orgasm just doesn’t look that good on me!!

Eye product you’ve loved the longest? In my lifetime? Mascara and black eye liner. More recently, like as in a specific item: probably UD Naked 3 or Chanel Empriente du Desert quad.

Lip product you’ve loved the longest? Lifetime, like since 2½, red lipstick! As a specific item: UD Catfight Revolution Lipstick vs. MAC Retro lipstick. I’ve had both of these since around the same time.

Cheek product you’ve loved the longest? Hmm… probably either UD Afterglow blush in Rapture or ColourPop Butterfly Beach highlighter.

Eye product you’ve loved the longest? All the old faves have been d/c’d. My new faves are newerbies on the scene, like all the cool neutral/transition shades from SG.
Lip product you’ve loved the longest? TransSiberian, now in reincarnation. It was my fave of the 12 originals. (The 12 in red packaging at Nars.com.)
Cheek product you’ve loved the longest? Probably Dolce Vita.
The reason I like this regular post is that makes one reassess and think of the reasoning behind your choices.

Eye product you’ve loved the longest? oh come ON – am I supposed to name just ONE??? This is the best I can do – shadow – MAC Mulch and All That Glitters, Inglot 419; liner – Sephora Cappuccino and, of course UDPP – made wearing eyeshadow a wonderful experience
Lip product you’ve loved the longest? MAC Craving
Cheek product you’ve loved the longest? Dior Rosy Glow Awakening Blush

Mariella Avatar

I see now a lot of others were much smarter than me and mentioned things like “MAC eyeshadows” or “Urban Decay Naked palette”, etc., and I see clever Genevieve mentioned the Dior Empreinte du Desert quad. I didn’t even think of those options.

Eye product you’ve loved the longest? NYX retractable eyeliners, so affordable and fuss-free!
Lip product you’ve loved the longest? I’m very fickle with lip stuff, but besides my Sleek Bare Essential lip liner, it’s probably theBalm’s Mai Billsbepaid lipstick. I like my nudes to be just a little on the light, washed-out side (honestly if I want a MLBB look I’ll just go with liner and lip gloss).
Cheek product you’ve loved the longest? NARS Luster blush or Becca Rose Gold pressed powder. Both give such a beautiful glow to the cheeks!

Your skin tone/colouring: Light med, yellow undertones. Dark brown hair & eyes.

Eye product you’ve loved the longest? Milani eye primer and She shimmer dust in Nymph (pinky champagne loose shadow – probably a decade old and still going strong!)

Lip product you’ve loved the longest? Colourpop Lumiere since April 2015! There were others before that but I can’t remember their names…

Cheek product you’ve loved the longest? The Balm Hot Mama kicked Nars Orgasm to the curb for me 🙂

PS. Your Octnber heading needs a slight correction 😉

Eye product you’ve loved the longest? MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Soft Ochre or Wet n Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow in Creme Brulee

MAC Viva Glam V and Hug Me

Cheek product you’ve loved the longest? Cover Girl Cheekers Blush in Rockin Rose, NARS Orgasm and MAC Warm Soul

Eye product you’ve loved the longest? Shiro cosmetics (RIP) Too old, too poor, too dangerous. The most gorgeous soft taupe with subtle gold shimmer. Never fails to make me look awake, put together and natural.

Lip product you’ve loved the longest? Duwop Lip venom. I love a vicious lip plumper, and this one’s the best out there IMO.

Cheek product you’ve loved the longest? NARS orgasm. It’s pretty, subtle, and it makes me look like I’m glowing. The only cheek product I’ve ever panned.

Fair, warm-neutral, “dirty-blonde” hair, olive green eyes

Eye product: UD 24/7 eyeliner pencils. I have about a dozen different colors, none of them black, and I wear all of them (not at once!). (I’ve also relied on Origins Fill In The Blanks Eyebrow Pencil For Blondes for many years…)

Lipstick: an ancient lipstick in a color I have never been able to duplicate – Revlon Line and Shine in Flesh Shine. It’s not the formula I love, it’s the color. Tarteist Latergram is close.

Cheeks: Origins Pinch Your Cheeks, Coralberry (I like gel blush…)

Genevieve Avatar

Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones

Eye product you’ve loved the longest? bareMinerals eyeshadows: duo The Scenic Route, quad The Wild Thing, 8 pans – The Playlist and Soft and Smokey.

Lip product you’ve loved the longest? I have always been drawn to coppery brown lipsticks, so it would be Milani’s Bronze Beauty and Cinnamon Spice – of which I have backups for as they are hard to get now.

Cheek product you’ve loved the longest? It has always been the shade for me – peachy/coral. So it hasn’t been one particular brand, just the shade.

Lip product you’ve loved the longest? MAC Liptensity Lipstick in Toast and Butter
Cheek product you’ve loved the longest? I am definitely not a loyal cheek product user….but I guess one I always go back to and love is Milani Luminoso

Eye product I’ve loved the longest: Lorac eye primer. I’m on my third tube in five years. Nothing else works quite like it.

Lip product I’ve loved the longest: Probably UD Vice lipstick in Bittersweet. It’s the only lipstick I’ve ever bought a replacement for.

Cheek product I’ve loved the longest: MAC Mineralize Blush in Swee Enough
