Hi Wednesday, from what I understand, the Lightasm is supposed to give a pretty wash of colour, with only the highlighter being a bolder shade. That said, a more dense brush or using the shades wet can increase the pigmentation.

Excited you did your swatches as they are the best to really judge what the product looks like. These all look very pretty on you. Looks like the lighter palette is not that pigmented (which seems to be a theme with a lot of palettes), but the other is particularly pretty. I do understand that the gelee formulas make it more difficult to pick up pigment, and I really like gelee formulas because they aren’t powdery. Very helpful swatches!

Oh my gaaahhhh…that Lightgasm palette has stolen my heart. I’ve not bought anything this year and that palette may break that streak; if nothing else I feel I need it for the design alone. The entire aesthetic of it is what I aspire to create in my lab. The angles in the pressed design accentuate the finish of the powders and gives everything such an incredible look. It’s dripping in luxury and I love it, even though it’s on the complete opposite end of the spectrum of what I’m into at the moment (it’s a good day when I remember to wash my face, I never outgrew the frat-boy phase in some ways lol). Your swatches are what seal the deal because I was afraid the product itself wouldn’t be comparable to the amazing design elements, but they actually look fairly unique and really gorgeous. This may be the first time in three years I’ve bought a backup of a product so I’ll have one to keep in my “vault” and one for general use, plus it will be my first Charlotte Tilbury purchase, so I feel like it’s almost necessary for me to go buy it as soon as I finish typing this. Thank you, Christine!

These names are ridiculous, even for CT! The colors in this collection are all too similar and dupeable to be of any interest to me. I wish CT had a better color range across their products – the bronze shade in this palette would only work as a bronzer for a small segment of the population! Paired with the over-the-top claims and exhausting “darlings” marketing (especially the videos featuring CT herself, sadly!), I’ve grow less and less interested in the brand. Probably a good thing for my wallet!

The Peach and Pink wands actually look quite lovely from the reviews I’ve seen thus far. I’m curious to see what you think about them, especially in terms of staying power. But ugh with these names, unless you are Nars just stop it – and even then Nars can feel free to tone it down. The original orgasm products are enough and I do enjoy those ones. It was well played at the time and got lots of interest, but they need a new schtick as this one is now overdone.

Like most palettes there are things I like in each .. k like the multigow in the Lightgasm palette and more in the Lovegasm one but hate the highlight . For $75 I should love it all.

Curious on the temptalia review fro what I’ve seen the Lightgasm is really unimpressive.

I might try the peachgasm but not real crazy about real shiny bushes.

I’m buying the beauty wands in peach and pink. I have the original highlighter and like the formula and effect. I’m debating between the light and dark face palette. I wish there was a medium tone. I’m concerned that the bronzer in the light palette could look ashy grey or have an orange undertone, neither of which would be flattering on me. I’m not concerned about the pigmentation of the other shades when applied. In the darker palette, the red undertone in the bronzer would suit me well, and I’d have to use a light hand and wispy brush to control the more virbrant and glowy shades. There may be an overlay that, when worn down, improves the pigmentation and application of the shades in the palettes.
