Fenty Beauty Summer 2019 Bronzers & Highlighters Swatches
For summer, Fenty Beauty has released a bronzing powder, Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzer ($30.00 for 0.22 oz.), which is available in eight shades. There is also a new single highlighter, Penny4UThots, and a new highlighting duo, Afternoon Snack/Mo’ Hunny.
P.S. — Fenty pulled Geisha Chic Killawatt Foil Highlighter, which will be renamed and launched at some point in the future.
Afternoon Snack/Mo’ Honey looks FABULOUS! Out of everything above, this is what has gotten my attention.
However, after watching a few YT reviews of the bronzers, I worry that these run very orange when applied to the actual faces of YT’ers who have similar skin tone and color as myself. It doesn’t seem to be working out well for us neutral olive peeps in the medium up through tan levels.
I have Coco Naughty and I love it!!
Unfortunately the bronzers are too warm for my fair skin w/ neutral undertones. Inda Sun, the one the brand says is for fair skin w/ neutral undertones, runs orange on me.
Most, if not all, of these bronzers seem to have orangey undertones which would not work so well on fairer skintones. But they do look pretty good from the swatches.
I just like saying “island ting”
I’m intrigued by penny 4 u thots, at least the color and not the name. What was your impression about those larger glitter flakes Christine? Can they be brushed away?
The ones for light to medium skin all look orange to me. I think I’ll be passing on these.
I was pleased with how Fenty handled the “Geisha Chic” situation with the withdrawal, and mature apology/explanation. I loved the looks of it though, so I really hope it gets renamed and on the market soon.
Inda Sun looks like my kinda bronzer. Will have to swatch check and see how it compares to Kevyn Aucoin and Charlotte Tilbury.
Inda Sun looks like it could work as a warm blush on me. None of these would work as an allover bronzer on my complexion, but then I generally don’t apply that sort of allover bronzer, anyway.
Super pretty but too orangey for me! :o)
I have been hearing nothing but rave reviews about Fenty Beauty and have been wanting to dip my toes in. I generally don’t use a bronzer but have been trying to make myself step out of my makeup rut/comfort zone and wanted to try these as I love the names and the look of the product. I am worried however after seeing the swatches that they do look like they will run orange on me as well…
