Sephora Picnic in the Park (07) Eyeshadow ($13.00 for 0.07 oz.) is described as a “shimmering grass green.” It’s a brightened emerald green with a subtle golden shimmer-sheen–but it has a definite cool undertone, more in line with an emerald green than a grass green. MAC Fresh Flare is darker. Milani Green Safari is similar–slightly darker–and a cream product. Wet ‘n’ Wild Earth Looks Small From Down Here #3 is darker, cooler-toned. Urban Deacy Graffiti is similar–slightly frostier.

Picnic in the Park had good color payoff both wet and dry, but it did apply better and with more pigment when applied with a dampened brush. The texture was very soft, smooth, and blendable.  This type of green is prone to staining, and this shade is no different; my arm was lightly stained after only having this on it for mere moments.  When I wore this shade on my lid with no primer, while it lasted a solid nine hours and only had very minor signs of fading after ten hours, there was a faint stain left behind, too.  I tried wearing it over a primer and that seemed to prevent the staining.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! The look you’ve created with these colors is incredible! So vibrant! These seem to be a really nice line of shadows, for the most part. I’ll have to check them out!

The high end version of BH cosmetics. Please dont review all 80 colors individually….just swatch them in one blog. It makes me enjoy those MAC limited products when there is this non-ending version of a product but with different colors.

This reminds me of a single Ulta shadow I just bought a few weeks ago called Green Machine. It’s a lighter emerald just like this one, perhaps a bit more blue tinted than Picnic in the Park. I LOVE it! Perfect for my green eyes and color of the year… emerald was totally my color before they claimed it for that title 😛

I am loving seeing these reviews and swatches. While all the colours may not be my cup of tea, it is so helpful going in to Sephora with an idea of which ones perform well and what to watch out for. I’d be quite happy to see all 80 shades reviewed, to be honest! If nothing else, it’s a chance to (a) live vicariously and (b) dodge some bullets if there are those that look gorgeous but have problems in their formulation.

I’m not a big green fan, but after seeing this post, I went out and bought this shade and I LOVE it. I also bought Green Tea Time and Apple Mojito and wow do those three make a pigmented trio. So bright and a different look then the UD sparkle I usually love.
