Sadly, no Bobbi Brown around where I am but these look promising if they live up to the claims made (don’t we all remember Christine’s demo of the Nars pencils and how dreadfully they crease?). But I’m so in love with the Tarte pencils right now that I don’t think I need any more products like this (not that this has ever stopped me before!)
I am actually really excited for these! I usually don’t get all hyped about these types of eyeshadow sticks/pencils but when Laura Mercier released their version, I really was quite curious. I didn’t end up getting any of them though because they weren’t really marketed as long-wearing and I had no doubts in my mind that my crazy oily lids would kill the color in about an hour flat. But I’ve had success with Bobbi’s long-wearing formulas and I hope this one isn’t any different! Sand Dune and Bark look gorgeous!!
loved each and every color of this new lipstick, gosh it will look so sexy on the lips
Interesting. I’ll be interested to see how much product you get for the $28. Will you be reviewing these, Christine?
I usually quite dislike Bobbi Brown products – just never really got into them, and having tried a few eyeshadows, I just think it’s a bit overhyped – however, the fact that Katie Holmes is the face of the brand makes me want to check it out. Advertising works on me, for sure!
Wow! Katie Holmes is stunning here!
I can’t wait to try these. They’re not cheap, but I’ve heard great things about them, and potted cream eyeshadow is something I have trouble working with sometimes…
Actually this collection is already available in Macy’s. It became available right before the New Year.
I had to take a second look at the model – it’s Katie! I think she is a good fit for Bobbi Brown 🙂
I think not. does not look like that in real life.
My thoughts exactly. No thanks.
LOL, I thought the same. I think they should’ve written her name in bold caps on the ad, because that woman looks NOTHING like Katie Holmes.
I recognized her as Katie before I read her name.
I like her makeup, her not so much.
I’m actually kinda excited about this. After using the MUFE Aqua Eyeshadow I’m hooked on stick eyeshadows (though the glitter in the UD ones affects my eyes so those are a no go).
I still have one of those stick cream eye shadows from years ago. Love the shade (Chocolate), but it does crease, A LOT, so this new version will have to be a heck a lot better so we’ll see …oh but that green, and the goldeny pink oh wow!
Katie looks fierce! I hope these really do live up to their crease-free claim.
I am in LOVE with Laura Mercier caviar sticks so I am very anxious to see how Bobbi’s version compares.
i wonder how the formula of these pencils will compare to those of MAC Shadesticks (long discontinued).
I bought three of three-green, blue and grey. These are amazing, last all day and are easy to blend.
They totally look like Kiko Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow! Kiko has more colours, great quality and is much cheaper!
I immediately thought of Laura Mercier Caviar Eye Sticks too ! I love them, especially in Amethyst, but her other colors are quite dark. Lets see what Bobbi can do with them. Although I purchased a couple of her long wear shadow pots in a couple of shimmery neutrals, I was not all that impressed!
I personally like these kinda of products. It’s very easy to use and save plenty of time to do eye makeup.
Will those be permanent??
I do believe so!
