T3 Featherweight 2 Hair Dryer in Hot Pink!
T3 Featherweight 2 Hair Dryer
Hot Pink Hair Dryer? By T3? I’m There!
I’m a huge, long-time fan of T3’s Featherweight hair dryers (it’s a three-time Editor’s Choice Award winner). I actually have my original one, still, that’s almost four years old, along with the travel-sized version and the Evolution. I gave my mom a Featherweight 2, which she loves and probably uses hers more than I do. For me, this product completely changed my willingness to blow dry my hair and solved a lifelong problem I had. My hair is long, thick, and there’s just so much of it, and blow drying would take upwards of an hour or longer (at which point, I’d give up). With the T3, I’m ready to go in 10-15 minutes. You can read my original review here.
So, when I received the T3 Featherweight 2 Hair Dryer in glorious HOT PINK, I couldn’t wait to share photos. It’s SO pink. Even the buttons are pink! It’s QVC’s TSV, so for today, you can pick up the Featherweight 2 (normally $200.00) plus two brushes (Antigravity Barrel Brush and Paddle Brush, $50 if purchased separately) for $149.76. If you’re not in love with the hot pink, it is also available in white at the same price. The hot pink coloring is exclusive to QVC until March 2013.
I’m as smitten with the Featherweight today as I was four years ago! It’s almost like it was made for me — in Temptalia pink. 🙂

Hm..I’ve never been big on styling my hair at all, but maybe if I had the right tools?? 😛
It looks so pretty! I would totally snag it up if I knew it wouldnt just sit in the linen closet for months 🙁 am i the only person with long hair who doesn’t blow dry it?
Mine will take ALL DAY to dry if I just leave it 🙁 If I’m too lazy, I put it up and will dry it at bed time, lol!
@Mirian @ Christine
Mirian, you are not the only one! I have curly, long, and thick hair…I hate blow drying it. I do what Christine mentions, lol. I take the lazy girl route. I wash/condition at night, put it in a bun, and let it air dry. 🙂 With that said, I have always wanted to try the T3. The main reason I don’t blow dry my hair is because it is a huge PITA! I also worry about using too much heat.
I’m with you on the heat, Miss J! A lot of times (since I have the luxury of working from home) is I’ll put my hair up in a microfiber towel for an hour or two, then I’ll blow dry for about five minutes, which gets it to 80-90% dry and let the air do the rest.
Ugh, I feel your pain, Christine. With the abuse I’ve inflicted on my hair in the past 7 years, it doesn’t want to dry naturally anymore. I always end up with a bad case of poofy, frizzy lion’s mane that’s DAMP. Hooooow. >.<
I haven’t used a blowdryer in like twelve years, I’ve just fully committed to showering at night. I have wavy/curly hair that doesn’t see any detriment to me sleeping on it if it’s still slightly damp. Probably saves time in the long run, and I don’t damage my hair.
I’d hate waking up extra early to shower and dry my hair, anyway! 😉
I can’t stand sleeping with wet/damp hair 🙁 Any tips?
I do generally leave myself enough time before bed to where I’ve only got damp hair, it doesn’t leave my pjs or my pillow damp or anything.
I don’t know if there’s any big tips…have a good towel/blanket to cover your pillow if it’s an emergency shower and you’re hair’s still a bit damp. Be like me and always sleep on your back? I have a feeling that wet hair would be more annoying for a side-sleeper. I also don’t have trouble healing ear piercings, haha.
Gotcha 🙂 I’m a side sleeper, so I always end up turning and landing in a damp spot!
I want to buy this but it’s annoying that QVC doesn’t offer free shipping on $100+ purchases
Really, come on!
I feel ya, Stacey. I am loathe to pay shipping for anything ever. Like The Container Store – never free shipping, so when they finally offered it as a “deal” earlier this month, I caved!
Couldn’t agree more. I would rather pay for another product (and subsequently more money) to avoid shipping costs. It’s irrational but true. I despise it.
I would love to have one in PURPLE! It seems like everyone makes stuff in pink, but never purple, so annoying, lol.
I totally get the problem with long, thick hair and drying. It’s so frustrating spending an extra hour in the morning just trying to get your mane somewhat dry. Blow drying is a must for me, if I don’t do it I’ll walk around with wet hair for 8+ hours and end up with a cold.
The one tool I like along with the blow dryer is a microfiber hair towel – it definitely helps dry hair initially, too!
I have a microfiber hair turbin. Love Love LOVE! I wear it until my face is on and then finish drying my hair. I saw in the pics that the focus nozzle is removable. Mine is on its way. I do wish they’d make purple. I LOVE purple with a passion, but HOT pink is cool, too! LOL
I need to get one of those – I just have a hair towel, but a turban would probabyl be easier to use.
I want one in teal 😉
I was debating if I should get it because it’s so much money for a hair dryer but I’m convinced. 🙂
You just described my hair exactly. I can’t even remember the last time I tried to blow dry it because it takes so long and hurts my arm and neck so much. I don’t think I can splurge just yet (Christmas has left me maxed out), but I’ll definitely be looking into their product line in the next couple of months. Thanks for steering me in the right direction!
If you ever try, let us know how it goes 🙂
Does the focus nozzle come off, Christine?
Yes!
Oh gosh, it is Temptalia pink! I would have loved to try this one if I hadn’t just purchased a new Babyliss.
I wonder whether the difference in voltage in Europe makes a difference to hair drying time – I have long, thick hair and I can dry it in under 10 minutes. I have a 2000 watt basic hairdryer that cost me about £15 10 years ago, and I’m just thinking about getting a new one as it isn’t getting as hot anymore. I shall look to see if these are available in Europe!
I think it does. I lived in the UAE for a long time and they had 220V and I noticed a difference after I moved to Canada with their 110V. It doesn’t feel as efficient or effective.
You made me buy it right now in white ._.
Hope you love it, Janeen!
I can’t believe I just bought a hot pink hair dryer. I have really short fine hair, too! It doesn’t take long to dry! But I do need a hair dryer and it was *pink* and…*sigh* And then I found the diffuser on Amazon and bought it.
I bought the diffuser on Amazon. The T3 soft touch. It says it fits any T3 Hairdryer but it does not fit mine. Am I doing something wrong? Help!
I did this too. The T3 diffuser does NOT fit the T3 featherweight 2. You have to buy the T3 diffuser 2, available on their website–I’m not sure where else. It’s the same price as the regular diffuser.
I purchased this on Wednesday when they sent me a “sneak preview” email. I’ve never tried it but have heard nothing but great things about the T3. I value your opinion and you have never steered me in the wrong direction. Thanks Christine!
Wow that is a lot to pay for a hair dryer but cutting down drying time would be really great since it normally takes me forever. Does anyone know if T3 makes a good diffuser to go along with the dryer because I have wavy to curly hair and super thick which means it holds on to all the water it can!
Leave it to Christine. Hot Pink is SOLD OUT in just a few hours. LOL I got mines!
I love the T3 Single Pass flat iron and have been contemplating getting the dryer since my poor Chi dryer is making some odd noises lol. Just wasn’t sure if it was that much better than the Chi dryer. I might have to take the plunge lol. On a random note, the only T3 product I purchased that left me a little disappointed was the hot rollers set…only because of the size of some of the rollers and the fact that there are only 6 or 8 of them (can’t recall). In all fairness, I only bought it to use for a specific occasion and haven’t touched it again but that’s due to pure laziness…and the fact that I try to avoid any additional heat since when I go straight I use the blow dryer & the flat iron so I try to avoid any additional heat.
I haven’t used the hot rollers, but I have used the brushes and Dry Shampoo, both which I liked. They are a pricey brand, though!
I find this really hard to believe… I have avoided long hair for the longest time because I have the most unruly, thick wavy hair this side of Asia – and blow drying a chest-length hair takes me about an hour. It has thinned out considerably but I still get those comments too from hairstylists when they dry my hair.
$200 is a HUGE amount of money but it if dries my hair in 10 minutes…
I almost bought a T3 recently, but all the negative online reviews persuaded me niot to buy, Many oeople reported the dryer breaking within a few month. Others reported that the buttons are in an awkward place… Causing accidental shut off when holding, Anyone have these experiences?
This is really cute but since I have had no issues with Conair, I’m sticking with what works for me.
When I was in middle school I had a pink Conair hair dryer. It was super small, almost like a travel dryer and had a curly cord. I killed it by not cleaning the catcher.
BTW, I CLEAN my blow dryers. I pop off the catcher and soak it in very hot water and shampoo. The pull off the hair and take a tooth brush to it. I then run hot water and sudsy shampoo through the hair dryer. Once all the suds are gone, I give it a shake and lay it on a towel, nozzel down. I leave it like that over night. I then store it and pull out the back-up. I would NOT suggest using it right away. I have yet to kill one and it saves from buying a new blow dryer every 6 months – 1 year. I keep 2, one on the go and one back-up.
Looks really nice, thnx for the info, for now my favorite is the karmin g3 hair dryer which is very good, keeps my hair soft and smooth. 🙂
Bummer. QVC is sold out the of the pink one. :/
I love the T3 hair dryer. I use it to blow out my hair extensions. Lovely, and lovely color. I’m a fan!
