We have an awesome prize for one lucky winner — a $250 in cash, courtesy of Ebates — to celebrate Cyber Monday 2, where over 500 stores are offering double cash back.

If you’re not familiar with Ebates, it’s a program that allows you to earn cash back on your online purchases whenever you shop through Ebates. For example, if you sign-up, click-through their Bobbi Brown link, then you would get 15% cash back on any purchase you make. Every three months, Ebates pays you (via check or PayPal) any cash back you’ve earned. To sign-up, head on over to Ebates.

The approximate value of the grand prize is $250.00. This prize is non-transferable. There are no cash or other substitutes of prizes by winner. Temptalia reserves the right to substitute similar prizes of equal or greater value in the event the above prize is unavailable for any reason. Individual, parent, or legal guardian of the winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes with respect to the grand prize. Prize will be mailed to the winner’s physical mailing address. Please allow six (6) to eight (8) weeks for delivery.

By entering or accepting the prize in this contest, winner agrees  to be bound by these Official Rules, Terms, and Conditions and to conform to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.

No purchase necessary to enter or win. This contest runs from December 10th, 2012 through December 15th, 2012 at 12:00AM EST.

Eligibility

This contest is open to U.S. readers who have a valid Ebates account unless prohibited by their local state/country. Prizes won by minors will be awarded to their parent or legal guardian on their behalf. For reference, the age of majority is 18 years old in the United States, with the exception of Alabama (19), Delaware (19), Mississippi (21), and Nebraska (19). The number of eligible entries received determines the odds of winning. Eligible participants are allowed to enter up to one (1) time, as per the section below.

How to Win

One (1) winner will be selected through a random drawing from all eligible entries after contest closes to win. In the event that the original winner does not meet eligibility requirements or he/she forfeits the prize, the prize may be awarded to the next randomly drawn eligible participant. All entries must be received on or before December 15th, 2012 at 12:00AM EST. The winners will be notified via e-mail or message (as applicable). Winner will have 48 hours to claim prize after initial notification. If winner fails to claim within 48 hours, an alternative winner may be selected.

I would probably use the money to buy some really nice gifts for my family. Winning this prize would truly help with the Christmas gifts. I would probably buy a nice hair dryer for me and then see what my family wants and get them what they want.

I’d put some of the money in savings, boring I know. Then I’d use the rest to pay for any schoolbooks my scholarship doesn’t pay for next semester. Oh, the life of a college student.

It’s tough to decide what I’d spend the money on! I’d probably buy something practical (I need a new pair of gym shoes) as well as something fun (e.g. makeup). The Burberry eyeshadow quads have been on my wish list.

15% back on Bobbi Brown Cosmetics is pretty fabulous! I would definitely take advantage of that and get myself some of her famous Shimmer Bricks. I have yet to try them out 🙂

Makeup wise, I would get the LORAC Pro Palette, Naked Palette, and maybe a YSL rouge lipstick and lipgloss. I really need a makeup storage cabinet though, so if I was lucky enough to win I would probably go that route. Thank you!

Quite honestly I would spend my $250 on workout attire and skincare! I don’t need anymore makeup and since I’m trying to lose weight I can’t really buy nice clothes since I’ll probably be dropping some inches off here soon. At least I hope so lol!

I would use the $250 on MAKEUP! I am dying for some OCC Lip Tars and I haven’t bought anything MAC in months! I love ebates! I shop for alot of makeup online and between coupons an free shipping and cash back? I don’t know how people don’t use this site!

It’s not really fun, but I would use that money to replace the money I’m spending on gifts. I know that’s lame, but times are tight, and I’m not going to just not get people gifts — that’s no fun!

I would love to get a new Kate Spade bag. It’s been one of my dream brands of buying a purse from. I try and save a little bit of money from every paycheck to go towards a “nice” purse. The $250 would definitely help!

I would use the money towards something for the house. It’s so flipping boring to say that, but we just painted and redid the living room after knocking a wall out, and I’d love to hit up the holiday sales and get some gorgeous accent pieces for the walls and for around the room.

Although I don’t comment much, but I’ve been a silent reader for about a few months now and I always go to your site to look at reviews and look for new products to try out.

As for what I’d spend with the $250 on ebates??? I’d probably splurge it all on Sephora! Mostly skincare products and some UD products!

I’d use the $250 for the checkup at the vet for my cat that I keep putting off. She’s a senior cat and the blood work for that is a lot of money.

Makeup! =D Well, mainly stuff from Nordstroms & Sephora anyways. Probably fill in some items I am running low on (you know, be “responsible” with it, ha!) And I would definitely use it on perfume! I have been in lust with the new”ish” Eli Saab perfume, but I’m not much of a perfume person, so it pains me to spend the amount it costs for a bottle of the stuff. I’ve been quite ill and although I really need the money, I’d donate the money to a fabulous Big Cat Reserve in Africa run by a wonderful man by the name of Kevin Richardson. Keeping these places open is quite costly and although $250 is only a slight drop in the bucket, it still is something. Without these places to care for these beautiful endangered specials, mainly the Big Cats, these animals will be gone from the face of the earth by the next generation. And I can’t thing of anything sadder than a planet without these beautiful creatures.

I would use the money to continue my seatch for the perfect foundation. As well as some retro sponge curlers, vintage silk scarves and hair spray. I’m wanting to do a lot more w fun retro hair styles ( think victory rolls).

Lot of beige color blush,hot pink lipstick,sparkly eyeshadow.
Maybe there are Illamasqua,Tom ford,MUFE,Laura Mercier,Givenchy etc.

What an awesome offer to have an unexpected chunk of cash! As tempting as it is to spend it on beauty items, I would have to use it for clothes and shoes for the family. It seems like our wardrobes are turning to rags!

I would definitely use at least part of the $250 to buy more OCC stuff now that Sephora stocks more of the line. I’d also probably buy a new pair of jeans or too since, like makeup, you can never have too many pairs of jeans.

I am an avid ebates user and have proudly racked up a nice cash back with all of my Christmas shopping :). It just so happens that all of the places Id want to use this are already partners with ebates!

First, I would head right for Nordstrom and pick up the Le Métier de Beaute lip cremes, lip stains and shadows that I’ve been “eyeing but not buying” because of something my husband tells me is called a budget 😉

Then I’d pick up the Armani Eyes to Kill mascara from Armani’s website. With the remainder, I would buy something for my wonderful husband.
