I googled that…they are such pretty lipsticks! Sorry to sound ignorant but Ybf is short for what? Are these limied edition? Don´t tell me they are 🙁 I was already in love with the princess shade the pink one 🙁 , hope they aren´t limited edition.

Is Military Red as awesome as all the blog posts make it look. I am so hesitant to buy it sight unseen but it looks so pretty.
I could not possibly dissuade you and cannot say a single negative thing about this lippie. It actually stands a bit above my beloved Tom Ford lipstick which is a serious feat. It’s hands down the best lasting red lipstick I have ever owned and the colour is phenomenal. This colour looks warmer in the tube to me, but reads a little cooler on my lips. I would say it is a very well balanced red that would flatter many skin tones. Just as an FYI: I prefer matte lipsticks with thicker more opaque consistency. Guerlain G’s are too slippery on me and come off quicker than most and NARS are far too drying. You gotta get it 😀

Hey your name is Elle also and we wear the same makeup color 🙂 I like to wear berries and pinky nudes. For drugstore, Wet N Wild makes great lipsticks. I like Ravin Raisin and Bare it All, For department store, I like MAC or Lancome. MAC has a great range to me. Hug Me is a great one and Rebel if you are daring. A great red on our skintone is MAC Diva. It is bold but not clownish! Another great color for our skintone is Up the Amp with a plumish liner.

Favourite lipstick to wear every day: MAC Plumful or Nars Damage (but, honestly, this varies so much depending on my mood, what I’m wearing, the season, how I’m feeling and what I’m doing – my “every day” is very varied)
Favourite lipstick for special occasions: I’d have to say ditto re my comments above but I do love Guerlain L’Heure Bleue and MAC Dubonnet or Capricious
Favourite lipstick to look at: ???? I don’t quite get this question since, for me, lipstick is to wear rather than look at but maybe Estee Lauder Datenut Red (I have a tube that is probably 25 years old and I only look at it because (a) it’s long past its wearability and (b) I can’t find anything anywhere to replace it.

I love how it looks entirely different if you put just a little bit on vs. a heavier application. It’s almost like two different lipsticks in one, so you have a choice of gorgeous light or dark, lol.

Also I love the look of black lipstick on either super pale or super dark skin. It just looks so edgy, but I’m not crazy about how the color looks on anyone who’s skin tone isn’t one of those extreemes.
