Most recently Revlon Black Cherry. I bought it for a friend’s halloween makeup I’m doing… tried it on myself, and fell in LOVE. Beautiful dark berry/red/pink. I blot it twice with a tissue and it’s perfection 🙂 and sometimes I’ll put a shimmery off-white eyeshadow in the middle.
I’m not very good at layering lip products, or combining them, but my current fave lip color is Burberry’s Sepia Pink (#32). It’s a great medium rose color that’s perfect for every day but doesn’t look boring. Next to that I’m loving my Rouge Dior in Dolce Vita Pink (#555), but that may be a bit light for fall. But I love it anyway. I have to look through my lipsticks and see the ones I marked for fall!
Right now, a burgundy lip with a gold gloss or sheer gold lipstick on top.
Pyrra, what do you usually use for your combo? I am looking for a good burgundy and usually need something gold to keep from getting washed out sometimes.
I’m kind of liking Lancome ‘All Done Up,’ which shows up as an almost-matte dark pink on me. Also, I am reaching for my good old Lancome ‘Luxe’ and MAC Lame.

Well, considering that it’s going to be 22C here today and I’m still in summer clothes, it’s hard to think about fall colours (though the colours of the trees are glorious). For me, it’s Guerlain’s Habit Rouge, a slightly browned red (though not orange) or Clarins’s Redwood (exactly what it sounds like!).
Dark, plummy, almost vampy reds (CdP R1, NARS Transeurope Express, Three Edith’s Whisper, Guerlain Gigolo, Chantecaille Damask), with minimal eye makeup and defined brows.
Mac On Hold lipstick with Nars Baroque velvet gloss lip pencil on top 🙂
I love browns and bronze lip gloss. I love NYX Bronze Sparkle layered over a medium brown like MAC Photo.
I don’t really have one, as I wear deeper shades year-round. The only difference is I wear lip color more often in cooler weather, and I’m more likely to layer a gloss over.

On a more confident day, i will resurrect my Chanel Rouge Noir and pat it all over my lips and then layer with a dark red on the inner portion of the lips (to create that 3-D effect). Blot with a tissue and then pat on a bit of loose powder (to add to the longevity and keep it in place), add a bit more lipstick on top and THEN (i know it seems like alot of steps) add a dash of concealer on the centre of the bottom lip. Then a bit of lipstick on top and voila…gorgeous, 3-D, long-lasting lips!
I have been searching for a year for Regina Mill’s lipstick from Once Upon a Time. I finally found out that she uses MAC capricious lipstick and plum lipliner. It is now my favorite fall combination to pair with a neutral eye. I like Mac Viva Glam V to pair with a smokier eye.

I am looking for a lipstick similar to MAC Diva lipstick. I am interested in trying the MAC MM Deeply Adorned lipstick.
I don´t really change my makeup too much when it comes to seasons, maybe I lean a little bit for more dark or serious colors, like Chanel number 5 mademoiselle rouge Coco which looks like a muted beige pink on me, and Guerlain Rouge automatique 165 champs elysee(my first and only rouge automatique 🙂 ). I only tend to layer colors when they look bad by themselves, I can only remember doing that with beige strass from the KissKiss line of Guerlain that I have to layer over a Champagne very light color to make it work for me.

I really like a mauve base with a sheer plum gloss on top. It give me that hint of plum/purple without going vampy. At the moment I’m loving Clinique’s Long Last Glosswear in Stellar Plum over Revlon’s Kissable Balm Stain in Honey.

YSL rouge pur couture 08 belle de rose is perfect for fall trends this year. You can wear it full on for a darker/richer color or tap it on for a brighter/lighter stain effect (two looks with one product).
I love a good plum lip and also am really loving the oxblood red lip trend right now (Dark Red with True Red layered over). I do all my lip looks with LipSense because they have unbelievable stay power and because they have over 50 color options. For plum, i use Plum and Berry LipSense; for oxblood red, I use Red Cherry with Blu-Red LipSense layered on top!
