- Blush you’re most thankful for?
Light/medium
Believe it or not.. ABH Amrezy palette! Sentimental value and its still a goodie!
Estee Lauder Double Wear
Note Blush in Desert Rose! Got it my Boxycharm and it was love at first sight <3
I love this survey!
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair with neutral undertones and freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
Eyeshadow palette you’re most thankful for? The Lorac Pro Palette 4 (I know, I mention it all the dang time, but OML, I love it so much), the Natasha Denona Star Palette, ABH Soft Glam and Modern Ren., and the Viseart Petit Pro Palette original. There are so many more. I really love my eyeshadow palettes. Besides lip products, eyeshadows are my favorite make up product.
Foundation/concealer you’re most thankful for? Physician’s Formula Healthy Foundation and BareMineral Complete Coverage Serum Concealer.
Blush you’re most thankful for? Wet N Wild Mega Glo Makeup Stick Blush in Floral Majority (smells like hell, but such a good cream blush) and Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure.
Your skin tone/coloring:
Fair/light NC15
Eyeshadow palette you’re most thankful for?
Charlotte Tilbury the Rock Chick/the Rebel. It’s a toss up between these two. Rock Chick seems to go with everything, but Rebel is green!
Foundation/concealer you’re most thankful for?
Bare Minerals original foundation. Most foundation doesn’t seem to work for me, however this one is not too drying and doesn’t irritate my skin.
Blush you’re most thankful for?
Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic: Sex on Fire. I feel like this color looks really nice with my skin tone.
Your skin tone/coloring: Light neutral skin tone, green eyes, salt & pepper hair
Eyeshadow palette you’re most thankful for? Difficult question, because out of all my palettes, I can’t think of one that’s perfect. The only way I can truly answer is to imagine that my favorite MAC singles were depotted into one perfect palette—which is something I’d love to do someday. (Blanc Type, Coquette, Era, Grain, Haux, Kid, Omega, Malt, Quarry, Satin Taupe, Shale, Sumptuous Olive, and maybe a couple others)
Foundation/concealer you’re most thankful for? Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup and Taste Shape Tape concealer
Blush you’re most thankful for? NARS Orgasm
Your skin tone/coloring: NC25
Eyeshadow palette you’re most thankful for? I’m gonna go with things I reach for the most, so Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar
Foundation/concealer you’re most thankful for? it Cosmetics CC+ (original) and Glossier Stretch/Nars Soft Matte concealers equally!!
Blush you’re most thankful for? MAC Peaches has seen me many places. Also Tarte Seduce
Your skin tone/coloring: Medium w/ olive undertones, MAC NC37, Lancome Teint Idole 24H Foundation N360, deep brunette, blue-green eyes w/ gold flecks.
Eyeshadow palette you’re most thankful for? ABH Modern Renaissance. I so appreciate how I can easily incorporate shades within it for so many looks that I do! Another much appreciated workhorse palette is my ND Lila palette. These 2 see a lot of use!
Foundation/concealer you’re most thankful for? So far, Lancome Teint Idole 24H Foundation. And Maybelline Fit Me concealer. Also worthy of mention, MAC Studio Sculpt for when our weather gets very dry or when my skin does!
Blush you’re most thankful for? Hmmm. There’s a few. Some that I totally appreciate are: MAC Burnt Pepper for the perfect red blush that doesn’t look clownish on me. Essence Satin Love for the perfect “I don’t know what I want to wear today!” shade. And almost anything Nars or UD!
Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral undertones; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
Eyeshadow palette you’re most thankful for? UD Electric Palette — It’s a sensational brights palette that I always come back to. UD x Gwen Stefani — the ultimate neutral/pinup palette for fair-skinned people. (I actually bought back-ups of both of these, that’s how much I love them.) ABH Modern Renaissance — the red tones were novel when it came out, it’s very cohesive, and the quality is superb. Plus, Love Letter ended up being a perfect brow shade to go with my current hair color.
Foundation/concealer you’re most thankful for? I don’t wear it every day, but I still have to say Lancome Teint Idole 24H Long Lasting Foundation. It’s a full coverage base that doesn’t oxidize, look cakey, or feel like I’m wearing a mask. It covers my cystic acne and stands up to hot weather. It has a color match for me, too.
Blush you’re most thankful for? Milani Rose Powder Blush in Coral Cove, because it’s an ideal color for me. Tarte Exposed and Physician’s Formula Murumuru Butter Blush in Plum Rose, because they go with any look.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair neutral to cool
Eyeshadow palette you’re most thankful for? Tartelette in bloom – not necessarily one I reach for everyday but the first palette that made excited to wear eyeshadow
Foundation/concealer you’re most thankful for? Mac pro longwear nourishing waterproof foundation in NW13 (so long lasting and actually light enough for me!) and tarte shape tape (ditto on the foundation reasoning)
Blush you’re most thankful for? Tarte celebrated — seems to work with anything and gives me a nice flush to the cheeks without making me look like a clown
Skin tone: Medium Warm (MAC NC37, GA Luminous Silk 6.5)
I am most thankful for my Natasha Denona Gold Palette. I was going to pass on this one but I’m so glad I didn’t.
Foundation: I traveled far this year in trying different foundations but none of them performed as well as Luminous Silk. I will give an honorable mention to Too Faced Peach Perfect foundation, which I very much enjoy, and when I want a no foundation look I like La Mer.
Blush: Right now it’s my HG fall combination of MAC’s Fleeting Romance and Make You Mine. I would highly recommend any NARS blush palette: I have five of these palettes and the quality is outstanding.
Your skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Eyeshadow palette you’re most thankful for? oh, this is a toughie but I’ll say either UD’s Naked 1, Naked 2 or Naked Smoky; When it comes to a “go to” neutral palette, any of those 3 is “it” for me; for something a bit more compact, Chanel Tisse Gabrielle or Empreinte du desert (I just have to mention that beauty!)
Foundation/concealer you’re most thankful for? Foundation: IT CC Cream and for a true foundation, Dior Forever Perfect (with Guerlain Lingerie de Peau as close 2nd)
Blush you’re most thankful for? No question – Dior Rosy Glow Awakening Blush (and MAC Sweet Sentiment as a close 2nd)
Oops – forgot to mention concealer. If it were still available, it would be Cargo’s Blu-Ray (I think that is the name) but as I can no longer get it, it’s IT Bye Bye Undereye – I can always rely on that concealer to do its job and look okay as the day wears on.
Your skin tone/coloring: I’m super fair with pink undertones.
Eyeshadow palette you’re most thankful for? Viseart Amethyst and Cool Mattes – use the second for a lot of base and use other colorful shadows and fun stuff to augment.
Foundation/concealer you’re most thankful for? Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk – a foundation that doesn’t oxidize with pink undertones (yay!) and isn’t too heavy…took forever to find.
Blush you’re most thankful for? I’m really liking the Clinique holiday blush palette that you recommended. It’s been so awesome! Just a nice blush that blends in so seamlessly and naturally!
what color of luminous silk are you using if you don’t mind me asking?
3.75 is the shade. I was so surprised that it was such a high number when I often wear the lighter end of things. But I think they have a funny numbering system. Well, that’s what the Sephora staff told me. They kept trying to match me to all these yellow undertoned foundations and I said…what about this one? And they were shocked that it was perfect. I still remember the lady’s face. lol Have you tried it? Or are you thinking about it? I also just tried the Make Up For Ever HD shade 110 – R220 and it’s also very similar. What do you use?
Your skin tone/coloring: Yellow-neutral medium, Filorga 02 Nude Gold (so on spot right now), Sephora Brightening & Hydrating 33 Medium
Eyeshadow palette you’re most thankful for? Hmmm, most thankful??? I can’t explain it since I don’t use it a lot, but the one that just does something for me when I do and when I think about it is Natasha Denona’s Star palette. My first expensive and what I consider pro palette that I had to improve my technique in order to use and thus I grew. I appreciated MUA’s and their skills more after that palette.
Foundation/concealer you’re most thankful for? Well, my foundations are adding up like my palettes, so I rotate quite a bit depending on season, my coloration (after illness I change) and the texture I want. So like with the palettes I don’t really have a “favorite”; however I’d say that if I had a “go to”, I-can-always-trust-my-result foundation it would be Estée Lauder’s Double Wear Nude Water Fresh. It covers so right, like a thin coat of breathable paint. And then it would be the new Filorga that gives a slight better one-coat coverage, but is ever so dewy in comparison.
Blush you’re most thankful for? Not a blush person, but the one that stay in my head is my old Versace coral even though it’s more of a summer color for me. So for automne and winter, it would be anything Nars (Unfiltered II).
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Eyeshadow palette you’re most thankful for? That is going to be hard to decide which one – Naked 1, for getting me into neutrals; Lorac Pro Metals for getting me to love copper and metallic shades and Guerlain’s Les Gris for loving the blues and bareMinerals Soft and Smokey for pops of colour.
Foundation/concealer you’re most thankful for? Clarins Everlasting Foundation in Linen – the first HE foundation that has worked on my complexion.
Blush you’re most thankful for? Clarins Prodige blush in Soft Peach – long lasting, beautifully peachy shade.
Skintone / coloring :light, MAC NC 15-20, med brown hair and eyes
Eyeshadow Palette : ABH Modern Renaissance. I adore it and still find the most inspiration from it. It basically is what started it all
Foundation/concealer: I don’t really know. I’m trying to work through MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation. I just used up Maybelline Fit Me Concealer and am on Loreal True Match Concealer. I’m eagerly waiting to use my Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation. But in general I don’t like foundation/concealer enough to have a HG. I use whatever I pick up at the moment.
Blush: Lancome Miel Glace, Clinique Nude Pop or MAC Margin. Love all of them so much!
Your skin tone/coloring:Medium Deep/Warm
Eyeshadow palette you’re most thankful for?
The Modern Renaissance has never let me down and always looks beautiful.
Foundation/concealer you’re most thankful for?
Covergirl Vitalist Foundation and NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer as they look so natural, match me perfectly, and last through anything.
Blush you’re most thankful for? Kinky by Pur Cosmetics, because it showed me that shimmery blushes can look glowy and radiant rather than if I had dunked my face into a bowl of glitter.
Skin tone: Fair with neutral to cool undertones.
Eye Shadow palette most thankful for: This is difficult because I can see my answer being one of the Pat McGrath palettes but I haven’t had them long enough to justify that evaluation. The ones that I have are exceptional though. I am going to say my Empriente du Desert quad by Chanel. I find a way to use the colours in that palette with other palettes and as stand alone shades. At this point I would also give Coloured Raine Queen of Hearts a close call.
Foundation/Concealer: Foundation is Chosungah which I don’t need to elaborate on in this forum, LOL!! Still have one container to go after I finish my current one although I am trying new foundations more now looking for something that I like as much. Concealer would have been Tarte Shape Tape as that was the only concealer I used since it came out. I picked up Nars Creamy Radiant before my trip and while I like it it isn’t HG for me. Not enough coverage. So, right now I am going with Stellar concealer but I am trying two different Korean concealers right now and one I think is a winner. Need to test longer though.
Blush most thankful for: Ciate Summer Love and Nars Goulie.
Your skin tone/coloring: cool/pink undertones
Eyeshadow palette you’re most thankful for? PMG Subversive
Foundation/concealer you’re most thankful for? I’m using MUFE right now but when I’m finished I will be looking for something else, my skin needs something else and I’m not sure what right now.
Blush you’re most thankful for? The blush in the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Unlocked Palette
Skin tone/coloring: light with neutral undertones, brown hair, brown eyes.
Eyeshadow palette you’re most thankful for: This changed every few months, but lately, it’s been UD Troublemaker and Juvia’s Place Mini Masquerade. Troublemaker is easy to work with and my go-to everyday/no-brainer palette. It’s an underrated palette that’s good quality and surprisingly versatile. I’ve also been using the Mini Masquerade by itself and to add a little extra color to some of my everyday looks with Troublemaker. I love Juvia’s Place shadows and love that you can go as colorful or as neutral as you like with that palette.
Foundation/concealer you’re most thankful for: I’m still trying to find my HG, but lately I’ve been using either It Cosmetics CC cream or It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation (over a dewy or hydrating primer). As for concealer, I’m liking (of all things) that cheap-a__ LA Girl concealer that comes in a tube, but only in the color correcting peach shade.
Blush you’re most thankful for: UD Rapture and Too Faced Baby Love always work well for me.
Your skin tone/coloring: NC15 w/some redness
Eyeshadow palette you’re most thankful for? Zoeva Cocoa Blend
Foundation/concealer you’re most thankful for? NARS everything (both concealers, and most of their foundations)
Blush you’re most thankful for? Hourglass Mood Exposure
Your skin tone/coloring: fair and warm, platinum blonde with hazel eyes
Eyeshadow palette you’re most thankful for? Still using Cle de Peau’s Baby Universe, hoping to upgrade to TF’s Nude Dip when I pan it
Foundation/concealer you’re most thankful for? Cle de Peau’s Silky Cream iin O10, It Bye Bye Undereye in fair
Blush you’re most thankful for? Hourglass Mood Exposure for everyday, Nars’ Bumpy ride for special occasions
Your skin tone/coloring: Light-medium olive skin (NC15 – NC30, I tan easily; am usually about an NC20 though). Teal-grey eyes, medium-dark brown hair.
Eyeshadow palette you’re most thankful for? Anastasia Soft Glam and Urban Decay Naked Petite Heat.
Foundation/concealer you’re most thankful for? I haven’t found a perfect match but I really like the Urban Decay Naked Skin formula. Right now I’m loving the Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Concealer in Light Beige.
Blush you’re most thankful for? Tarte Paaarty, Too Faced Baby Love, NARS Orgasm, and NYX Away We Glow in Rose Quartz.
Lt to med, cool side, blue eyes, dark ash blond with some gray age stripes and occ red undertones and had dark red blond periods in the past: hair is always mistaken for colored. Eye Palette/thankful: Zoeva En Taupe. Foundation: just got KGD from b’lish in the powder and cushion formulas. Add them to the Maifanshi aqua as tops. Between ingredient difficulties and red u/ts, finding foundation was difficult. Chem sunscreens and everything too yellow. So, even though it is ABSURD that s.o. ~NW15 takes the darkest foundation they make on the ‘cool’ side, KGD is it for me. Concealer: the MUR is better for me than any others in my literally heavy DS and HE concealer stash. Better than all the touted best-ofs. Blush: since this is a ‘thankful’ question, CP Aphrodisiac. Panned it instantly, so clearly it’s easy/good to go/versatile for me.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair neutral, leaning cool
Eyeshadow palette you’re most thankful for? Naked 2. That was the eyeshadow palette that started my love affair with makeup and I just recently repurchased a new one and I still love it.
Foundation/concealer you’re most thankful for? Dior Airflash is still my favorite easy to apply, natural looking foundation. I do love the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer but it is quickly being overshadowed by my new love from Makeup Revolution: The Fast Base Concealer. Either way, I’m thankful for both.
Blush you’re most thankful for? Pixi x Aspynovard Glowy Powder in Rome Rose. I keep going back to this blush consistently and often have to tell myself to use something else.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair neutral
Eyeshadow palette you’re most thankful for? Like others, I think my custom palette would be my MVP. Out of everything, I would have to replace most of those first.
Foundation/concealer you’re most thankful for? Lancome teinte idole and NARS Soft Matte together. MY HG combination.
Blush you’re most thankful for? The blush in the Becca Be a Light kit that’s being discontinued … tears tbh it looks good on light to tan skin tones and is so beautiful. I’m also going to be grateful when that Charlotte Tilbury Blush in Pillow Talk comes back – i was so mad I missed it the first time around.
Your skin tone/coloring: Light with neutral to pink undertone
Eyeshadow palette you’re most thankful for? The palette I reach for the most is ABH Soft Glam, but in my collection the one I treasure the most is the Pat McGrath Subliminal palette.
Foundation/concealer you’re most thankful for? Hourglass Vanish Stick is an amazing foundation!
Blush you’re most thankful for? Hourglass makes my favorite blushes, and my most favorite is Incandescent Electra. It works with my skin tone really well and it compliments almost every look.
Your skin tone/coloring:
Very fair, neutral-pink undertone
Foundation/concealer you’re most thankful for?
Hourglass Vanish in Blanc
followed by Too Faced Born This Way in Cloud (if I want to add FX cover enhancer drops in Halo or Celestial)
Blush you’re most thankful for?
Urban Decay 8-hour in Obsessed or Score (which I would classify as a light peach-pink, not medium).
