It’s not entirely glitter, along the lines of the Urban Decay glitter shower shadows, but Inglot’s Pearl finish is one of my faves. I haven’t tried their Double Sparkle (which I’m guessing is more glittery still) but I love the finish of the Pearl shadows. After that, probably MAC’s Veluxe Pearl finish would be my favourite.
I want to say Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill, though the sparkle is so fine I’m not really sure you can call it glitter.
Exactly what I was going to say. I don’t really wear a lot of outright glittery shadows, because I’ve never found one that didn’t end up all over my face, but some of the ETK colours certainly border on glittery.
Chanel Illusion d’Ombres maybe ? Esp. Mirifique which is really a dramatic eyeshadow. The texture could be described as ” hybrid ” between cream and powder. It wears long with a primer and is really pretty alone or in combination.
Tom Ford for sure. speaking of glittery eyeshadows, japanese makeup brands are usually good at making this kinda eyeshadows. the brand Lunasol is also my love tho campared with american eyeshadows they are not very pigmented(thru my observation japanese gilrs are really into glitter and they dont really like highly pigmented products)
Hmm, it depends on your definition on “glitter” really (As in, what hex size does it stop being “sparkle” and start being “glitter”? Does glitter have to be made from plastic or does “mineral” glitter count too?)
If the definition is “eyeshadow with large shimmer particles”, then I’d go with Fyrinnae’s eyeshadows. For mainstream, Stila’s jewel eyeshadows.

I actually really like Urban Decay. As long as a primer is used (and I don’t see why anyone *wouldn’t* use one- after all, we wouldn’t do a paint job without one), and the correct brush is used, fallout is minimal, if not non-existant. I also really like Revlon.
My fave is one you already made ∂ review on. Quarts Fusion, but since the fall out is horrible (using it dry), I figured since I love the color so much I would try making ∂ kind of paste using mixing medium, and it works wonders for me.
Any Japanese brand of makeup, even drugstore lines. The shimmer/glitter is sooo complex, giving your eyes an almost “wet” look. Majolica Majorca (drugstore) and Lunasol (department) are two of my favs.
Lunasol sounds like a sleep drug, ha ha.

Blingtone eyeshadows by Myface cosmetics are amazing. They’re super glittery with absolutely no fall out, either during application or during the day.
I still haven’t found one 100% without fallout. I guess I’d have to say Urban Decay because the eyeshadow formula is still good, and if you use the colors with light colored microglitter a few specks on your face isn’t bad. My fave is Midnight Cowgirl.
I wish Illamasqua’s pigments didn’t have such ridiculous fallout. The colors are so pretty but they always seem to end up everywhere except my eyelids.
If you want something flashy but not necessarily glittery M.U.F.E Metal Powders are fantastic. No fallout.
Tom Ford the glitter is pressed glitter.
I’d have to say Fyrinnae! They have gorgeous glittery shadows that like any loose shadow, if patted on and carefully applied have minimal fallout. I’ve had more fallout from some pressed shadows tbh.
Loose shadows and glittery shadows both just take some practice and a good base!
Fyrinnae’s pixie epoxy makes any glitter shadow or plain glitter adhere super-well, look more intense and last & last.

I don’t wear glitter shadow very often. When I do, it’s for a special occasion and it’s worth the extra effort of a loose shadow. Pressed powders tend to lose sparkle and complexity. If I’m going to wear glitter then I want the multifaceted look.
Some of the newer technology shadows (the gel hybrid types) seem to maintain sparkle better but they’re still not as good as loose and they cost a lot more than Fyrinnae.
Urban Decay’s Stardust (Space Cowboy is my fav) line is really good. I love glittery shadow though. It does have some fallout so you have to use carefully. But they’ve got some beautiful sparkle in them.
And I agree with Lorraine – Fyrinnae has really great shadows that have high sparkle in them.
I think with any glittery shadow you have to use carefully, but I think that if some sparkle falls here or there over the course of a day – it’s not too bad.
Does Lorac 3d liquid lustre drops count?
I love Lorac 3D liquid Lustre drops. Also just bought the Tarina Tarantino Sparklicity Pure in Nude and love it. I have others but those two are my favs.
I love Revlon’s Diamond Lust line (the newest versions)! They’re known for being unpigmented and having a lot of fallout, but they look fantastic with a sticky base and honestly I don’t think any glitter should be judged by not sticking well when you’re not using the right base.
I ❤ Sonia Kashuk’s glitter shadows, such as the center four shadows in the Eye on Dazzling Color palette. It’s sophisticated glitter that gives the lid an unusual wet look.
Laura Mercier Black Karat baked shadow is a favorite for finer glitter. It’s so pretty!
I’m very surprised no one has mentioned Bobbi Brown Sparkle eyeshadows! I’ve loved them ever since picking up the now-coveted Black Velvet, a phenomenal purple color. I NEVER apply glitter eyeshadows with a brush, though – that’s a recipe for fallout right there. Use your finger to tap it on your lid. I guarantee you’ll have better results! Laura Mercier supposedly has “Sequin” shadows, which are the same as BB Sparkle. I also just came across some amazing glitter shadows in the newly revamped Victoria’s Secret makeup line! For 1/2 the price of others!
I was just coming to say Bobbi Brown! I love her sparkle shadows. Grownup glitter but still can be dramatic.
Nothing beats Sugarpill’s Chromolusts. You have to have a really good base and be OK with loose pigments, but they’re the bomb-diggity. If you REALLY want amazing glitterbang in a single color, Stella is the winner! Black shadow with rainbow glitter–does it get any better than that?
