Other than the oranges in the top row I can see myself using every color in this palette. I will wait for your review before buying though.
I took a closer look….Love the names assigned to each color. Let’s hope we’ve seen the end of the over the top sexualized names.
I had the same hope when Hourglass came out with those Visionary lipsticks that had such affirming and positive names but, sadly, it didn’t catch on with quite the force that all those orange and red shadows caught on. But you are right – how nice that the names are not sexually suggestive and are in line with the name of the palette (ie names of gems, etc.)
I absolutely agree! I hope this reviews well.
This looks like a huge palette – it does have a wonderful array of shades, but Sephora’s quality can really be hit and miss in these palettes.
I agree; $68 is a lot to spend on hit or miss roulette. I don’t mind doing rolling the dice on a less expensive palette, but at this price point and with the Pro Cool palette earning a C+, I’ll wait for a review.
Love the idea certainly. Going to wait on review.
Not bad looking for fall, though I won’t be going there. 😉
What Genevieve said. To a lesser extent than MUFE…as S’s shadows were not perfection in the older formula….the newer shadows are far more iffy. In the holiday onslaught, this is going to be a mighty labor for you to review. (You know, if they are obviously duds, no one would mind if this was a sneak peek only…..)The megas in this season must be excruciating, at your level of detail, just considering the time involved for swatching, not even from the dupes and the thought to language p-o-v. The shade assortment covers the spectrum in a most seasonal way; it’s spot on. If this is decent, it is a real bargain. But, if average to poor, not worth the consideration. I’ll bet there are days this season, when you wish you had a clone!
KJH, everything you said! And says it better than I can atm. Yet expresses what I thought when I saw this behemoth of a palette. Just impossible with it being dropped at this time of year.
This is a larger palette than I find it practical to use and there are those orange and red shades AGAIN but I do hope the quality in this is good because I like it when Sephora offers great products at good prices – it’s a bit of a poke in the eye to those brands whose prices have become outrageous in the past few years.
This reminds me of the Urban Decay Born to Run palette. I think it’s beautiful.
Very pretty. Looks like a cooler, bigger version of the Urban Decay Born to Run palette with the LORAC mega-pro look.
This looks like an expanded UD Born to Run palette. It will be interesting to see how it performs!
Is this a dupe for “Born to run” from Urban Decay?
This appears almost like an expanded version of Urban Decay’s Born to Run. That price though, yikes – it’s an extra $20 for 7 more shades.
There’s also a nudes palette out right now on sephora online in this setup. This looks amazing. I’ll wait for reviews then perhaps justify the purchase as a birthday present to myself. The new KVD fetish palette will get my money right now.
A nice range of colors, actually. No idea how large the individual pans are, but $68 for 28 colors is a great deal if most of them are decent quality. Add this to a small neutral side palette with one’s own personal crease, transition and browbone shades, and you’d never need to buy another palette. 🙂
“… never need to buy another palette …” Ha ha … joke! Still …it does look like a great first “daring colors” palette.
Nice, but it looks a bit like Born to Run from Urban Decay. So I pass.
I would rather have this than UD’s Born to Run palette, as long as the quality is there. It’s a super similar color story and even though it’s a little heavy to travel with, I’d rather spend a little more for more shadows as I typically always regret my UD purchases. Waiting for your review!
