The shades are very pretty. Sephora palettes are hit-and-miss in regards to performance, though. I hope this one reviews well.
Figures this would come out the day after the sale ends. Is the quality really good on these palettes?
I have a funny feeling that this one may well be half good, half dud – judging on Sephora’s past performances in delivering large palettes. I also think that larger palettes like this are becoming a bit redundant – to hard to store, too many simiar shades, too many choices etc.
This looks like every other warm toned neutrals palette in recent history with 2 Norvina-ish light purple shades shoved in there for a point of difference.
It seems very yellow toned with 3 – 4 cool toned pinks/lilacs and it just seems very weird to me. If one half was cool and one half was warm with some neutral overlap in the middle I think it would appeal more but I cannot think of many palettes like that.
Mind you, I thought exactly the same thing about Zoeva Rose Golden (which was out yonks before everyone else jumped on the RG bandwagon) because of the matte charcoal they included and it actually works brilliantly. So we shall see!
Red, red; hot pink, hot pink; orange, orange, orange….no thank you.
And I have only just realized that the original Naked palette – maybe the most iconic e/s palette of all time – is now DISCONTINUED??? What the heck? I’m hoping they’ll re-release it and I’m kicking myself that I’ve only just realized this or I’d have purchased another one for my daughter (she uses hers a lot more than I use mine, as much as I love it).
I would use quite a few of these shades, and it would probably make a good travel palette, but Sephora’s eyeshadows are too hit-and-miss. Plus, $68 is pretty steep for the amount of shades I would actually use, and that’s if those shades are good enough quality. I’m interested in seeing reviews on it, though.
I just can’t buy into that many similar-looking shades. You could cut this palette down by at least a third and get the exact same looks out of it.
you are so right! it drives me crazy that they have so many similar shades!! but that being said, I think it appeals to some of us that are palette junkies, like me, lol.
