The Debbie harry Eye & Cheek Palette!!! 🙂
I’m not…. happy.
Nothing calling to you, or not a fan of the sets, or what, hon?
Well, having seen the full collection now, what hopes I had after that initial Sneak Peek are now crushed. The eye palettes, esp. the Warhol portraits shown in the other post, are totally useless for me: majority of the product is black (who needs that much black?!) with some white and then, generally, a 3rd colour that I can’t imagine using much of, like light blue or brown. I had expected vibrant colours à la Warhol silkscreens: pinks, reds, peaches, golds, silvers, purples, oranges, greens. Bright, vibrant, super-intense colours with some small portion of black perhaps. Those Warhol portrait eyeshadow palettes are really the furthest from what I had hoped but the flower ones here are equally monotonous and dull.
All of this is not just underwhelming but actually massively disappointing. I’ve been looking forward to this for so long that now, I feel as though someone put coal in my stocking. 🙁 And the fact that one of the few things that really interests me requires me spending $200 for a giant set that I don’t want everything in…. GAH! I keep reminding myself that I’ve undoubtedly saved a couple of hundred dollars but still, I’m not happy. At all. *sniffle*
I still don’t like the Flower eyeshadow palettes. But the Debbie Harry palette, the Kiss set and the Walk On The Wild Side set are all amazing. I’m really interested in seeing swatches of the Silver Factory items because they could be amazing…especially that lip gloss.
Everything you said, my feelings exactly. I feel like I only want two or three things and maybe two sets, out of the whole collection. Nars is so expensive, but damn if those shadows and nails polishes aren’t pretty!
I must get the Debbie Harry palette!!!! Love Debbie!!!
I don’t like the colors or the design of these flower palettes. They look sloppy and the colors seem very “samey samey” or not very complimentary.
pass! 🙁
The Kiss giftset looks fun, I love the paint can container. I feel like the Flower palletes could get muddled and messy after a few uses which is a bummer.
These are so cute 🙂
I will be getting the Walk on the Wild Side set. The orgasm lipgloss will be the proverbial toss for me but I really want to try the Illuminator and wouldn’t mind another NARS polish.
The rest is probably I’ll probably pass on. The first flower palette looks like it could be interesting with the garnet red eyeshadow against the yellow and purple but I don’t know what they were thinking with the others, especially the baby blue one. It looks like tween makeup from the 90’s. Also, in these pictures of the flowers palettes the colors almost look faded somehow.
Want Andy Warhol Kiss collection. Must have!
