I know this is targeted towards high schoolers but that makes the product so unappealing for anybody outside of that age range. The Too Faced planners were cute for all ages but these are too juvenile.
I feel this way too ๐
That’s so funny — I had exactly the opposite reaction! I’m a college professor, and this packaging speaks to me on a deep level. (Though my purse has detachable bat wings, so take my endorsement with a grain of salt.)
I with you Leah. Middle aged and loving it. I wear or enjoy what I like and Tarte blushes are cool with me but I have too many already. Love the packaging and blush color selection!
Yes same! Except Iโm not a college professor, just a 28-year-old whoโs obsessed with stationery ? My Kindle case is a cow notebook cover too!
And anyways I actually like the selection of cheek colors in this one. Tarteโs blush palettes usually have too much bright pink and coral for me, but this one has nice nudes!
Iโm a teacher at high school and college level and love it too! Pity I stopped supporting Tarte this year! ?
Immediately thought of an old post on Muse, in which many readers confessed that their favorite season was BTS….Back To School. Desk and Office organizers section uber alles! I think the square packaging is easier to store and the timing is brilliant. Maybe it’s the old teacher in me as well, but I think it’s adorable as well. As. to wanting/needing it, not really, covered. But these are great to upstash, when someone does not have a wide selection of colors already.
The rather awkward (a school notebook, seriously?) packaging design aside, this one at least for once has shades that cover a larger spectrum of both tastes and individual coloring! Hoping that the quality is there. Then *perhaps* I can justify getting it. Would have preferred their usual round packaging, though.
I really wish Tarte would work on their products so that all skin tones can enjoy them but itโs cool saves me money ??โโ๏ธ??โโ๏ธ
I normally donโt like cutesy packaging, but to me this is cute in a good way. Donโt know why it appeals to me…it just does! Iโm not in the market for MORE blush right now, but if I was, I might consider this palette.
This packaging is so unappealing to me. Like I love the colors, but I won’t buy it because the package turns me off so much. It looks like they’re marketing towards children.
Whilst the packaging screams teenagers, I do like the range of shades. I just think it might be cumbesome to store too.
I actually find this packaging really cute, though I am not into their formula.
I’m wearing Tarte’s Glisten blush now. Got a brand new Tarte blush palette waiting it’s turn for wear, lost in my overstuffed blush collection. I like this notebook palette and would buy if I didn’t already have enough.
Iโm liking all the range of colors. They look real pretty! Havenโt tried Tarte blushes would have to swatch before jumping in it but I donโt need another blush…but…:)
I like Tarte blushes from the regular line but this “book” illustrates the problem I often have (and others do too, I would think) – for me, the cool toned ones are lovely but shades like Rah Rah, Team Spirit and Homecoming do absolutely nothing to flatter my skin tone. Also, while I love e/s palettes, a blush palette is just overkill for me, even when all the colours work with my skin tone.
This packaging is extremely unappealing to me, I can’t find anything “cute” or “adorable” about it. With this cheap juvenile release Tarte is not targeting anyone over age 14. Also, knowing that the “blush book” holiday blushes are a cheapened China- made poorly performing formula for Tarte, this is an easy pass for me. Tarte’s single blushes are US- made and are way better quality.
The packaging is unexpected from Tarte, but looks so much more practical than the huge, round packaging on the big blush books from previous years. I like the notebook design, and the color selection.
Maybe it’s the teacher in me, but I love the packaging. I just don’t love Tarte blushes.?
The packaging is pretty cute., however itโs the shades I like. The tarte blushes are great and this is a great range of different shades, coral, pink, nude, etc. I got one for me and one for a gift. ?
