Wet 'n' Wild Fire & Ice Collection Swatches
Wet ‘n’ Wild Fire & Ice Collection
Wet ‘n’ Wild Fire & Ice Collection is a new, limited edition collection that features two themes–fire and ice–across a myriad of products. I didn’t buy everything, but I did purchase the three new bronzers, three new highlighters, and four new eyeshadow quads, which you’ll find swatched before. Have you tried anything from this collection? Have your eye on anything?
Thank you for the swatches! What a fun collection.
I got the Fire & Ice Box. I have no idea what I’ll do with the two bronzers, but the dragon designs are cool. LOL Queen’s Land might work on me, if I go easy with it. The just arrived Friday, so I haven’t tried any of it yet.
I sure do! Winter Falls In LA, Dragon Scales, Fit For A Queen and possibly Dynasty bronzer. Reds and greens not only look complimentary on me, but in this case, these are the only ones that have solid looking quality.
Really very disappointed in how the purple Night King themed palette looks swatched.
I got mine to work after playing around with it. I added a comment about that below, if you’re interested.
I can see that the purple palette will be getting an F rating already. And the two white highlighters are the same color but only differ in intensity. I think I’ll pass on the whole collection.
Wait, a palette that has two greens and neither looks horribly patchy? Will wait for the full review, but definitely intrigued! Have one of the four pan palettes from their flights of fancy collection and it’s a great little palette for traveling or when I just want to put together a quick eye look without have to make a lot of decisions. Considering the price of these palettes, would definitely be interesting in getting the Dragon Scales one for a similar purpose if they perform fine!
Ugh I really wish you could buy Wet n Wild online in Canada. Hardly any store stocks the brand and when they do it’s usually only their permanent stock. You have to get really lucky to stumble upon any of their LE stuff. I did manage to get the Winter in LA highlighter a few weeks ago. I was shocked they had it!
I was coming here to comment, complaining about the exact same thing!!! 🙁
Dragon Scales has more depth than I expected, and I love that red, but I too am disappointed by the inconsistent quality 🙁 and I miss their killer nail polish collections!
Oooh, Fit for a Queen looks great! I also really like Winter Falls in LA. The swatches make this collection a whole lot more appealing than just the pictures of the products.
This looks like a fun collection of eyeshadow palettes and highlighters/bronzers. I love the autumnal shades, although there does seem to be a few misses there.
I like the color scheme of Dragon Scales , if the colors blend well.
I’ve had the box set for a bit now and have had time to play with it; I just wanted to let anyone interested know that the Mythicool Creatures quad has more potential than show here.
The purple duochrome shade in mine felt “sealed,” and swatched with a finger and brush just like shown above. However … after I gently rubbed it with 600 grit sandpaper and then used a sponge-tip applicator it’s a really lovely, super smooth, almost liquid-looking chestnut / lavender duochrome; I don’t dare ever touch it with my finger as I feel certain that will seal it again, but it’s gorgeousness after my extra steps.
Also, the navy in the quad was a deep, brilliant, highly-pigmented night-sky blue with the sponge, but was really unsatisfying with a brush, more like what you see above (though it was never “sealed” like the other shade),
Spongetips to the rescue! I swear, I’m beginning to believe that they are highly under-rated. They are the only way that I can use those 2 grayish-bluish shades in UD Naked Smoky, plus a few other “weak” shadows I have. Thanks for that info, Alecto!
