Thank you, CeeBee!!
I love this look on you – got to ask, is your hair just naturally lightened by the sun, or have you had highlights added?
Because if you have, that’s exactly the colour I want in my hair so I’d appreciate any pointers!
Hi A!
I got balayage done to my hair maybe six months or longer ago! I try to use a purple shampoo once a week per advice from the salon to avoid brassiness. I love the look of highlights but hate going to the salon so for awhile but then learned about balayage, which is a lot like highlights but is more painted on so they appear more “natural” and usually are lower on the hair (not at the root), so if it grows out… it doesn’t look as weird!
Here was the Pinterest board I showed my stylist: https://www.pinterest.com/temptalia/balayage-ideas/ and this was the specific pin that I had her focus on: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/7107311896473005/
Thank you!
I love the look of more “natural” looking highlights, so this sounds perfect!
I think you’ll like ’em! They are beautiful. It ended up working well for me since I put my hair up in a bun 85% of the time, so you can see lots of dimension in the bun portion 🙂
