Speaking as someone with warm skin, this palette only reads as half-warm. The entire lower row in the arm swatch (except Whiskey Neat) is cooler than would work for me. Whiskey Neat would probably look almost olive on someone with pink-toned skin.

I am completely on the fence about this. On one hand the shades look amazing and look like they will look great on brown skin and show up nicely without having to build and build and build. But on the other hand, I have all of this. But 1 More Thing , Thick, Moonchild, & Whiskey Neat are really calling to me.

I want this and the Gemini palette pretty bad, it’s that weird Melt obsession. Buuuuut, this is the year of the “low-buy” and I’m not sure the colors in either warrant breaking the lowbuy or would get enough use to justify the price tags.

I didn’t get the Naked Heat palette and besides the Natasha Denona Sunset palette I don’t have that many warm eyeshadows in my collection. So I bought this palette ? I also want to try melt cosmetics since this is the first palette I bought from them. Now I’m crossing my fingers that they will restock the Gemini soon ??

They really squandered their goodwill/hype from Gemini on this one.

Out of curiosity, Christine, when you do a piece on a release you don’t have yet like this, where do you get the images? Are they licensed to you specially by the brand?

I found that 6 of the 10 shades in this palette have exact dupes in the Jaclyn Hill Palette. I thought it looked a lot like the Naked Heat also but upon closer inspection, I couldn’t see any exact shade matches in both palettes. Melts Shadow Formula is far superior than either of those palettes though.
