Le Metier de Beaute Pallid Incandescence Kaleidoscope Eye Kit (Bergdorf Goodman Exclusive)
Le Metier de Beaute Pallid Incandescence Kaleidoscope Eye Kit (Bergdorf Goodman Exclusive)
From runways to red carpets, the playful pops of color have made a name for themselves and with summer in full swing it’s safe to say the shades are here to stay. ‘Bright’ on trend, Le Metier de Beaute introduces a new Kaleidoscope Eye Kit that flaunts serious color: Pallid Incandescence. Blending electric and pastel hues, Pallid Incandescence is the ‘go-to’ for a brighter-than-bright must-have look this summer.
Inspired by complexity of light and transforms from pastel days to neon nights, Pallid Incandescence brings with it the summer’s brightest and boldest hues. Each shade playfully reflects on another with just the right amount of luminosity and beam for a sun goddess glow.
“Layer shades for more intensity or wear alone for a softer look,” comments Dustin Lujan, Le Métier de Beauté Resident Artist, Bergdorf Goodman. “Either way, the fierce flash of pop-‐hued tones will liven up any look this summer season with statement and flair.”
This summer palette includes (top to bottom): Flush, a pastel pop of peach and pink, Lambent, an electric green with lively lime tones, Refulgent, an orangey/pink neon and Ultraviolet, a lightening punch of lilac.
Experience each rich hue through the previous, as all four pigments intertwine to create a prism for the ultimate color contrast with the wearer’s eye shape and color. Using
the Le Métier de Beauté signature eye shadow application technique, “Couches de Couleur” (the layering of color), each shade is selected to evoke one element in a sequence of crescendo: 1. Warm 2. Cool 3. Hot 4. Cold. The combination is famed for increasing the femininity of the eyes, while adding a dash of mystery.Ladies, it’s time to get your neon on.
A Bergdorf Goodman exclusive, Le Métier de Beauté Kaleidoscope Eye Kit in Pallid Incandescence ($95 USD) will be available in early July 2012. For order information, please call Dustin Lujan at (212) 872-8612.
Sadly, I believe this is already sold out.
LMdB kaleidoscopes are fascinating. I wish I lived near a counter so I could test and play before I invested my money. 🙂
I should add — this colour combination is not to my taste — however, it is unfortunate that the demand for LMdB kaleidescope exclusives often exceeds the supply.
I’ve always wanted to get a kaleidoscope from LMDB because I’ve heard the quality is fab, but they always seem to pick (in my humble opinion) unappealing color combinations. Lilac and neon orange together?
Is it just me, or is that palette completely fugly? I’ll leave you to figure out how I derived fugly.
@wwendalynne No, it’s *not* just you, and yes, I know how you derived “fugly”, LOL.
@wwendalynne It’s not just you. Those colors are unappealing on their own, and together? No thank you.
@wwendalynne I cannot, for the life of me, get this. Just about one hundred bucks for these … I have confusion and am glad to hear that I’m not alone … xoxo Beth in Pgh 😉
@bethie m haha..I know Bethie..it’s so hideous! xoxo Wendy
these colors are not appealing at all to me.
I pre-ordered this and it came in today. The colors look nothing like the promo images. The 2nd shade is a gorgeous aqua color. I can’t wait to see how they look on me.
I only like the green eyeshadow, and I never green. Huh.
I got a limited edition MDB eyeshadow quad in this same packaging for the opening of the Neiman Marcus in my town. The colors were inspired by a nearby mountain, and WAY better than these. I find the shadows a little bit powdery, though.
This was sold out the day it was released…. I love this Kaleidoscope is much different and colorful than the other ones. The swatches on bestthingsinbeauty blog looks so pretty. 🙂
Thank you Temptalia! I hope every one loves it!
Hmmm … I’m kind of on the fence about this one ….
