The bronzers seemed nice 🙂

Christine will you be reviewing any of this?! Xo

The eyeliners and mascaras look interesting.  The rest is underwhelming IMO.  Although the quads look nice, they are pretty standard colors, and I haven’t had much luck in the past with their eyeshadow formulas.

I thought it was just amusingly bizarre until I realized she was looking up at a man from her position.  Now it makes me vaguely uncomfortable, and I can’t quite put my finger on why.  I think it’s because it’s sexualizing a woman (vampy makeup, sensual expression) while still stripping her of agency (she’s at *his* feet).  (The only way I could see that flipped around is if she’s a reference to a siren – luring him into the water – but that still objectifies her.)

Both of the neutral quads and the blush/bronzers look stunning. I’m not going to get anything from this collection because of my tight wallet, but man… I do wish sometimes.

The mascaras look semi-interesting, but the ad is off-putting. Why is the scantily-clad teenage model staring up adoring at an obviously older male, and her hands resting on his feet? Gross.

The promo is typically YSL, “sexual ” ( I read the comments here and I agree but I am used to it with YSL perfumes or make-up ). The collection itself is pretty, the quads are beautiful ( shimmer and good pigments ), nail polishes have all been reformulated, I have 2 they’re gorgeous ( easy to apply, amazing colours ).

I picked up the YSL bronzer in #2, it gives a pretty, warm, and natural glow to the skin.  I prefer this over the Guerlain Emilio Pucci bronzer which works better for darker skin tones compared to me.  I am MAC NC25.  The bronzer is the only item that appeals to me from this collection.  I thought the eye shadows are too shimmery and the lip glosses are too brown.
