I’d love to see your spring-inspired nail art looks and share them with readers on Sunday, so this is our official call-for-submissions post 🙂  Please make sure to read through the requirements and use the form below to submit your work.  So excited to see what you come up with!

Submissions must be received by April 8th, 9AM PST.

Christine, I would like to submit but I’m not good at taking clear macro photos. Do you have to use a dslr or is it photoshop or technique that gets you close, vivid, clear pictures?

LOL! I spend hours on it all – I have far too much equipment and software to get everything as best as I can.

But the reality is, a lot of cameras can go into macro mode (look for the flower), and if you don’t have a lot of light, use flash. If the flash is too bright, adjust it downwards if you can, but you can always hold a tissue over it, which will diffuse the flash.

Christine, Loving the idea! I’d like to submit some nail art too. Can I submit just one or multiple and you’ll choose one you like the most? Does it have to be a brand new manicure or could it be one once published on my blog in the past?

If you submit multiple ones, most likely I’ll just choose one, but it depends on number of submissions and if I can even choose 🙂 And it doesn’t have to be something brand new, though preferably something you did with spring in mind… this spring, haha.

Christine, do we need to paint our own nails or can we do the designs on a nail practice wheel? Are we limited to polish only or can we use acrylic paint and/or Konad stamping?
