Ozotic #505 Nail Lacquer ($14.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is a multi-chromatic polish that shifts green, pink, cyan, and blue. It is more of a layering polish than anything else–you can see the color alone, but in order for the multi-chromatic effect to really pop, a darker underlayer works best. I applied two coats of it alone on my index and middle fingers, and then I applied one coat of it over a black polish on my ring finger. Alone, there are bits of silvery blue, fuchsia purple, and blue-purple that seem to catch the light. Over black, it looks like teal, forest green, fuchsia purple, and bluish-purple.
The formula wasn’t too thick or too thin, so it applied easily without streaking or bubbling. It actually had surprising coverage on its own–just shy of being opaque with a hint of visible nail line after two coats.

I’m just OK with it alone, but over a black nail polish this thing is a bomb!
It kinda reminds me of Deborah Lippmaan Wicked Game, only better!
Over black this looks incredible! So sad that this is yet another amazing product that we Brit’s can’t get 🙁 I wonder if the MAC/Gareth Pugh polish in Ascension would look similar over black?

how much polish do you get in a bottle? is it a typical full sized bottle? I would love to get this one, but if it’s less than a regular bottle, i dont think id spend the money on it…

Gorgeous! I love this both ways, surprisingly – it’s absolutely breathtaking over black, but there’s something just really ethereal about it on its own, too.
I have wanted this polish for so long now, but it seems like it’s always sold out everywhere 🙁
I actually own a few ozotic polishes but the formula is always inconsistent, so I’m really surprised this got an A from you! Some are thin, and some are really thick and chalky with a long dry time. But I can get over it because the colors are amazing.

On it’s own, meh. Over the black, gorgeous. I feel like from what it looks like in the bottle, over the black is how it should look.
