The Details

Wear your star sign on your lips with Astrology by BITE, an ultra-limited-edition collection featuring a new shade of award-winning Amuse Bouche Lipstick for each sign of the zodiac. March signals the beginning of Spring, and with it the sign Aries makes its debut. This is the third shade in the Astrology by BITE collection, and is made with the same pure pigments and mouthwatering ingredients, such as fresh-pressed citrus, botanical oils, and resveratrol (an antioxidant found in red wine), for incredible vibrancy and bold dimension.

A new sign shade will debut every month created with its astrological character in mind: Aquarius gets an inventive take on a classic, Gemini gets a lipstick bullet that will make you do a double-take, Leo gets a bold, ambitious hue. What will your shade say about you?

This is the perfect colour for me! Not into star signs but in this case would love to get it. Shame there’s no UK stockists for Bite, would love to get my hands on their products

Haha, I’m an Aries and I KNEW this was going to be a red! But I don’t know if I’ll get this. Orange red only looks good on me for the two weeks deep in the summer when I am at my tannest, and I already have a couple orange reds to cover that time period. :/ Why do you do this to me, Bite Beauty?!

I think everything I’ve ever read about Aries has linked the sign to fiery reds, so this one was kind of a freebie. Nonetheless, I’ve somehow managed to avoid collecting any reds in the Amuse Bouche formula, so that seems like a good excuse. Can’t wait to wake up stupid early to make sure it doesn’t sell out before I can buy it.

I was just telling myself that red lipsticks are the last thing I need to buy, but I am an Aries and I have no orange-y reds. I have yet to claim my birthday gift at Sephora, so I might have to try to get this.

Much better sign-color match than the ill-conceived Pisces-peach lippie.

Somehow I just know Gemini is going to be some unwearable green…

I’m not into astrology either, but I know that Leo will be some bright, obnoxious, unwearable orange because it’s “supposed” to be “my” color. Oh, well, it’ll be an easy pass.

I’ll try waking up early enough to get this…I like the two lipsticks introduced so far. I was concerned about the weird peach for pisces, but it works.

This is an easy pass. I was considering collecting them all, just for the sake of collecting them. But after Aquarius proved to be too close to Eggplant on my skin tone, and Pisces (my sign) was a dismal pumpkin on me, I’ve lost my passion. I already have Gazpacho and Fraise which I don’t get enough use out of. I’m much more of a Framboise/Pickled Ginger/Gin Fizz kind of gal, I suppose.

No surprise here as Aries is associated with the element of fire. However, after 30, it is said that the ascendant sign takes over. I’m Aries w/ ascendant in Leo, both associated with the element of fire. And I’m in my 30s. Will buy this one as I don’t have any orange red and probably the Leo one if the colour suits me.

I think this whole line is fun, and I’m intrigued to see what they choose for each month. This one seems on point — fiery red Aries. I won’t be getting it as “ultra-limited-edition” is actually a turn off to me, but it’s still a fun series to watch.

I just saw the comparison swatch they posted on their IG stories of Aries vs Persimmon and Cayenne. It seems verrrry close to Persimmon…Aries looks warmer in the most minute way.

In other Bite news, they’re launching their own e-commerce site on their website at the end of April and re-releasing the previously sold out shades there, according to a comment they made on IG today. How “ultra-limited” is “ultra-limited” when a company re-releases products months after they sell out??
