Guerlain Rouge G ‘Giulette’. I was obsessing over it because it was OUT OF STOCK EVERYWHERE FOR A FEW MONTHS and I couldn’t get over it, LOL.
But now that I am on to my second tube, I don’t see the colour anywhere anymore on websites, even the official Guerlain one.

Um yeah… basically every MAC collection thats threatened to sell out (VV, WW, So Cute, brushes, etc etc LOL)…. in the past I would even skip a class to be first at the store, then I discovered online shopping.. staying up past 2 am sometimes waiting for the products to pop up!!! Only other brand that gets me is the Chanel polishes, but after Riva bummed me out so bad I kinda slowed down on them.
After months of research on which would be the best foundation I bought a professional airbrush (Iwata compressor and airbrush) with the Temptu silicone based professional series airbrush makeup. I was having trouble sleeping the whole time I was waiting for the package to arrive. When it came it was amazing, I could mix my perfect match, the coverage was completely customizable, the wear was phenomenal, the makeup looked like skin, like actually like skin, you really could not tell I was wearing makeup at all, and it didn’t take long to apply. But in the end there was a downside, I had to completely take apart the gun after each use and clean it fastidiously or else it would be ruined. The makeup was great but I just don’t have time or patience to clean the gun for 20 minutes every time. I haven’t found anything else that can compare. I bought the Temptu consumer one because you don’t have to clean it, but the formula is very different, it’s not a long-wearing or a skin-like and it made me breakout. I tried the Guerlain Parure Gold and the MUFE HD and a dozen others but nothing is good to me after the Temptu S/B. I tried applying the S/B with a brush but it’s not as good. Now I just don’t wear foundation, and it makes me a little sad actually, like meeting prince charming and then breaking up.
I caught my breath at first sight/swatch of the Urban Decay Naked palette at the 2010 L.A. IMATS. I was dying to buy it on the spot but the UD booth didn’t have any for sale, ugh.
I trolled your post about it for weeks until finally, after what seemed like an eternity of waiting, I got it from Sephora around the third week of July, 2010. That it was sold out from launch only added to the anxiety and sleepless nights!
I still remember the frenzy over that palette that lasted for more than a year. So crazy. I guess it’s the best selling makeup palette of all time for a reason.
Yes! Damn MAC online website releasing product just after midnight, making me stay awake until the wee hours until it’s released. I can’t tell you how many releases have kept me up late! LOL The anticipation is incredibly fun!

I’ve never been that excited about a particular cosmetic before, but I did have a very bizarre dream once that involved a subplot where I was trying to hunt down some sort of makeup product and coming up short everywhere I went.
Hahaha, great question! A few years ago, the first MAC product I bought was the Hello Kitty Tippy blush. I was so excited that I finally bought something from MAC, which I considered to be the best beauty brand in the whole world. Later on, when it appeared that I had bought a cult product, I was thrilled.

MAC Mega Metals! It seemed to take so long to get to Australia and there was so much hype I was checking the website about 10 times a day. Then it turned out I was allergic to the formula! 🙁

Iris apfel by MAC, I missed candy yum yum last year, and I didn’t want to miss pink pigeon lipstick this time, I even called the store the day before to put it in hold + other products, but they had su many lipsticks in hold already, that the wouldn’t do another one for me. I went to the store at 10:00 sharp, and they only had 3 pink pigeon lipstick available. I guess thia time I was lucky, but I was worry at bed time that I would miss it again. So silly.

i remember being antsy all day when it launched because i needed to get my hands on Party Parrot, Flamingo, Diamond Dove, and Silver Gull. I didn’t call to reserve anything because I didnt have time at work and I literally told the lady at the MAC store that was helping me that she was a life saver!
Iris Apfel for me too. I love brights and pinks and really, really wanted the lipsticks. I got them online tho’, the first hour they went up.
It’s the opposite with me!! I think of lovely things and it helps me to sleep!! Haha 🙂

MAC Candy YumYum – I stayed up until midnight to order it online. Best hot pink lipstick ever.
MAC’s Surf Baby collection was the most recent product-related insomnia. It was the Hibiscus lipstick that did it. I didn’t want it and when I changed my mind it was out onsite, so I ran to the mall to get it just as they opened. They had two and I got one!

i just got a Clarisonic Mia and i definitely was distracted by it. then i read that it has to charge for 24 hours before first usage and i was bummed (i love playing with new products).
Once I learned about the release date for the Urban Decay 15th anniversary palette,I couldnt WAIT to order one! I <3 UD!
Oh yes! I’m having this problem with every purple lipstick / lipgloss. One week ago it was the mac lipglass “comfort + joy” and “famously fab”. Really crazy!

Naked 2, I did stress out over it a little before it came out hoping I’d get one before it sold out so I’d have it for Christmas.
When I was 16, I had my first Sephora haul! I got Hard Candy Stop polish, Urban Decay Uzi e/s, HC purple e/s single, and Bourjois black liner. I was so excited to possess high end makeup!

When I saw how beautiful the eyeshadow by Nars called Galapogas was, it was all I could think about…I needed it in my life. I use it almost every time I want to look glamorous, so it was a good buy 🙂
I was like that with MAC’s “Violetta”. (Check my youtube videos about when I was going through my “purple phase”) LOL – Oh, it was SAD! LOL
I’m ashamed to admit this, but I dreamed about Chanel’s Stylo Yeux in Cassis. When I went to Sephora the next day, they didn’t have a tester, so I just bought it without really seeing it. It was SO disappointing when I went home and put it on.
Almost every Mac collection. I skip the first hours in school just to get my hands on the products..
I told my boyfriend to come and spend the evening at my house watching a movie and having a meal in instead of going to a reservation at a really fancy restaurent, but i spent all my evening on the laptop refreshing the mac page for nicki minaj’s pink friday lipstick lol i was determined to be one of the first to have it! and im glad i did, within twenty minutes of it being released online it was sold out!
And also the mac give me liberty of london collection, i dragged my friends to our city centre to wait outside debenhams on the morning of the launch day because i was afraid that blooming lovely, petals and peacocks and ever hip was going to be sold out! They didnt appreciate the chilly weather lol
I went a little crazy the day that MAC’s To The Beach launched, I have a soft spot for anything cute and beachy and especially because I knew that everyone would rush to get the Marine Life highlighter. Luckily I was able to get my hands on it. :3

Urban Decay’s Alice in Wonderland Palette! I am a freak for both UD and AIW so it was like a dream come true, LOL. I haven’t been that excited about a new “toy” since I saved up enough allowance money to send away for my first My Little Pony when I was about 6 or 7. Yes I am a dork! 😛
mac loves barbie collection… i wanted that doll sooooo bad. I woke up early that day just to be first in line outside the door.

The only time I can think of was with Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday Lippie from MAC. I remember saying that I bet it would be released right at midnight EST and sell out super quick. I went to the computer shortly after midnight EST, and yeah, it was there…didn’t buy it, lol. Checked back and hour later and it was SO.
I haven’t ever experienced this feeling, but I couldn’t be MORE in love with all of the people who say they have! What a fantastic question! LOVE LOVE!

Um, no lol. losing sleep over anything material seems silly to me… unless there is some sort of personal attachment such as Christine’s Jealousy wakes. For you I can understand because it was more than just an eyeshadow. You actually invested your self into it and I’m sure were anticipating people’s thoughts about it.
All the time, right now as we speak! I am actually regretting that I didn’t purchase MAC’s Iris Apfel Flamingo lipstick…and I can’t stop thinking about it.
