Swatches: NARS Coucher de Soleil & Rêve Salé Highlighter Palettes
NARS Coucher de Soleil Highlighter Palette ($49.00 for 0.36 oz.) is a new, limited edition highlighting trio that’s exclusive to Nordstrom. This is the deeper one of the two, which should make it suitable for deeper skin tones, but lighter complexions could certainly use the shades as highlighting blushes.
NARS Rêve Salé Highlighter Palette ($49.00 for 0.36 oz.) is the lighter trio between the two. Again, it’s limited edition and exclusively available at Nordstrom.
I ordered Coucher De Soleil as soon as it was available!
I’m not a highlighter person-I only have a couple that I rarely ever use, but I am excited about this one!
I’ve fallen headlong in love with Coucher de Soleil! For my skintone, I see one gorgeous highlighter, and 2 luminous highlighting blushes. That 2nd shade reminds me of my favorite one by MAC, Oh My, Passion.

I like these more than I thought I would!
These really caught my eye when I saw the promo pics, but it’ll be an easy pass with one of the shades (my favorite!) in the Reve having dimethicone in the formula. Sucks. They are gorgeous.
I’m a little torn by these swatches! I can’t decide if I love it or not!
Beautiful shades, but I was hoping that in the second one there would be a more peachy shade.
And I’d love to own both of these the lighter would be perfect for myself but I’m always drawn to the more spicy colors. So pretty!
The second one is meh for me, but the first looks rather glorious. On closer inspection, it’s really just Coucher de Soleil III that is special. I need to stop coveting things when I really, truly only like one of the colors!
