Bite Beauty Pisces Amuse Bouche Lipstick
The Details
Ruled by the planet Neptune, Pisces is the water sign of artists and dreamy creative types; itโs considered the most spiritual and compassionate sign of the zodiac. Pisces are soulful, and like water they โgo with the flow,โ blending in and out of different environments. Find them painting a masterpiece, writing an original song, or volunteering at an animal rescue organization.

Astrology Collection - Amuse Bouche Lipstick, $26.00 (Limited Edition)
- Pisces Pitch-perfect peach
Not one who gets into astrology or anything like that, BUT. An orangish peach? Definitely was expecting something very different, I gotta say. Like a TF Unicorn Tears type of iridescent shade. Or something Liz Taylor would’ve worn might’ve made sense, too. Temptation for mid-March has been averted! ???
Thanks for posting this. I’ll be picking this up for sure!
Pisces here, but peach is so not my color, so this is a definite pass. Oh well.
Awwwww I was excited for this but this will look horrible on my NW20 skin tone (I can’t do orange peach colours). Oh well money saved!
I’m really hoping it’ll be a darker peach so I can get it and actually use it. I am a Pisces and I would love to get the lipstick, but there’s no point if it’s too light for me.
I was actually hoping they’d go for like a purpley-blue color or like a duo chrome lipstick.
Same thing! I was hoping for something unique and cool toned and I saw this. Pass.
Of all the colors I could think of for Pisces, this sure isn’t one of them.
This definitely wasn’t what I expected for Pisces. Although I’m glad they didn’t go in the traditional blue route, I’m a bit disappointed!
I’m a Bite Beauty fan and this is not enough to dissuade me from continuing to buy their products because it’s a first world problem. (Though this color is a total pass.) But why do a trendy thing, like using astrology for marketing, and then blow it by getting it totally wrong? If more than half the people on this thread are able to correctly identify the right colors for Pisces (hint, hint — ever heard of rainbows and unicorns?) then what happened with Bite’s marketing team? Were they locked in a dungeon where there was no Google? Lazy.
They worked with Tara Greene who is as an astrologer. They meant to make โtotally wrongโ shades. They wanted them to encompass the entire sign and didnโt want to create the obvious choice.
Ooh, snagged it-I’m so happy about this, I love the color! I just hope it’s different enough from the other peachy-orange lipsticks I have (UD Insanity, The Balm Committed, KVD Lolita II and Double Dare). I did expect something iridescent blue or green for Pisces, though!
Well, I will say, Bite has been saying on IG that it’s more orangey than their Sweet Cream Amuse Bouche lipstick. I’m curious to know if it’s going to be very similar to it still, or similar to Gingersnap. I was not impressed with Aquarius (on my NW 20 skin tone it looked very much the same as Eggplant), so I’m fearing Pisces is going to be redundant for me, too. I was really excited to collect this series a month ago, but now, not so much. We’ll see if it returns in 3 or so days.
My skin tone is a light neutral/warm and this lipstick looks neon orange on me. It doesnโt look peach at all.
I bought Aquarius last month and it’s beautiful!! When I saw this color I was confused why they chose this color for Pisces but I bought it for myself because I don’t have a color similar to this and it will look good (hopefully) with my skin tone. It arrives Wednesday so I will find out soon Enough
I never would have picked this color for Pisces.
I don’t understand this color choice… I’m a Pisces and would never have picked a shade like this to represent the sign. It just seems too loud. Pisces are generally known for being quiet, creative, ephemeral, artistic, so why not go with something like a more universal nude to complement the quiet side, or even something a little out there to go with the creative/mysterious side? Some people said something iridescent and I completely agree. I think they could have had way more fun with this. Even something like a deep red would have been more fitting, in my opinion. I was so excited for this, too! ๐ I hope the shade turns out to be a bit different (more muted, less bright, maybe darker) than the press image conveys.
