Sneak Peek: Hourglass Vanish Flash Highlighting Sticks Photos & Swatches
Hourglass Vanish Flash Highlighting Sticks
Hourglass Vanish Flash Highlighting Stick ($42.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a new, twist-up cream highlighter that is available in five shades. Per the brand, it’s supposed to give “an instant flash of light for unparalleled glow” and have “intense payoff.”
These look interesting. I’ve been wanting to get more into cream and liquid products, especially for the cold Winter and Spring here in Michigan. I like the looks of Rose Gold and Bronze.
Between drops, cream sticks, gels, and powder highlighters.. shame on me, I’m still tempted to pick up one of these, but I will definitely wait for the reviews. The price of these is rather staggering. I love me some Hourglass products, but they do run pricey. The shade I like, the pink flash, does not look as promising as the others.
Now that I’ve seen the swatches these are an easy pass.
I agree! I love hourglass but Find I don’t reach for the cream or liquid highlighters and for the price I find these underwhelming. Especially the light pink which would be my choice.
I was interested in all of them until I saw the swatches and now only Rose Gold catches my eye and it’s probably to dark for my complexion.
Agreed! For the price of these I’d expect more product, more interesting shades, and more intensity to the actual “shine”.
These are just more of the same ol’ highlighter/illuminating roll up cream sticks we have ALL seen or own by now. You can get the SAME look from a drugstore cream highlighting stick.
It NEVER fails to amaze me how much money people will spend on something that they could get for a small fraction of the price….just because of the name on the package, and social media “hype”. Smh.
Agreed, I expect Hourglass to blow me away. At that price point there shouldn’t be boring been there/done that launch.
These look like they would disturb your foundation and none of these colors look unique or really that interesting. That, plus the price and the fact that I pretty much own all of these shades (outside of bronze which is too dark for me to use as a highlight), makes it an easy skip for me.
I like the looks of Rose gold but would not pay $42 for it.
Just seeing this quick swatches, I’m not impressed yet! I’m hoping they look better on the skin!
When this first came out I decided immediately that I wasn’t going to get it because it was a cream and I have about 80 cream highlighters that I literally never use. The other day I received a sample of the champagne color from Sephora and it is so much better than I thought it would be. It feels good going on and it’s not oily at all like the rest of my cream foundation or cream highlighters. Just one swipe was enough but of course I kept going to see how stunning it could be. It’s pretty impressive. I don’t need it so I keep talking myself out of getting it. This is such a nice product that I think it’s going to be one of those things that sells out and then the only way you can get them as for 2 million dollars on eBay. I know I’m going to eventually break down and at least get the champagne or the gold.
