Best ColourPop Pressed Powder Highlighters
ColourPop Pressed Powder Highlighters ($8.00 for 0.23 oz.) is supposed to have a “high-shine” finish with “high colour intensity.” In general, ColourPop’s pressed highlighter powders have a smooth, moderately dense texture that was soft enough to be picked up easily by a brush but not kick up any powder in the pan. The formula was semi-opaque to opaque but easily sheered out for less shine and coverage if desired. There were a few shades within the range that emphasized my skin’s natural texture slightly but most did not. The wear ranged from seven and a half hours to nine hours.

I do have 2 of these: Here Kitty Kitty and Angel Food. They are both fantastic. But Here Kitty Kitty may well be my favorite highlighter ever. It goes with everything! Every cheek look I do! Plus, it is absolute perfection for highlighting my Cupid’s bow, down the center of my nose (lightly! Bcuz I’m not going for the coke snorting unicorn look!) and on the high planes of my face. Angel Food, on the other hand, is slightly more restricted in what it pairs with. Looks great with UD Bittersweet!
Now I also want: S’il Vous Play and Velvet Rope!
It’s a fabulous range for such an inexpensive price. I just wish that they all weren’t quite so shimmery personally, but I think the brand got the range of shades right.
