Not much hauling this week – just MAC ‘Shy Beauty’ Beauty Powder Blush and MAC ‘Say, Yeah’ eyeshadow. Next week is Glitter and Ice launch here in the UK, so planning a bit of a haul from that.
No real plans for this weekend, but we’ve had a busy week so I’m hoping to catch up on some sleep.
I’m a bit boring – don’t think I’ve ever worn any lipstick more ‘crazy’ than the green lipstick that turns pink on your lips. Barry M do one, but mine is much older than that, from a company that I don’t think exists any more

Haul: I used the Sephora F&F sale to buy 2 things I’ve been lemming for a long time (thanks to you, Christine): T3 Featherweight hair dryer and Guerlain Meteorites Powder For The Face in Teint Rosé. I also picked up two Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balms in Black Tea & Blackberry (my fave), First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream (awesome stuff)and Caudalie Cleansing Water. From CVS online, I bought La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water and Vichy Dermablend Corrective Foundation Opal 15.
Weekend: Seeing my folks and hopefully do some reading. I just got “The perfect scent : a year inside the perfume industry in Paris and New York” from my local library.
Crazy lip: Dark, metallic gray from Lancome that’s long been discontinued.
Haul: OMG I was sooo bad this week. Maybelline instant age rewind concealer, Hard Candy Glamouflage concealer (yes, I’m looking for a new one, any ideas?), Clinique dark spot corrector, Shiseido Extra Smooth Sun Protection Cream SPF 38, Stila lip glaze set, Tarte Lip Service Limited-Edition LipSurgence set, Too Faced Sweet Dreams palette, MAC Morning Frost paintpot and I have a Fabulously Festive Face Kit (Cool) on hold which I’m planing to pick up later today.
Weekend: going out of town with my hubby. Today is our 5th anniversary, since we started dating (yes, we still celebrate it after being married for 2 years)
Craziest lip color: probably black or silver/blue color that I had when I was 13 or 14 😛
Omg mellans costumes are adorable. my cats already part of the halloween scene cos hes all black, but i bought him a bandana so he can be a gangster kitty for the day.
Haul: a mac lipstick in highstrung and a lancome lipgloss, also to win a mac hello kitty compact mirror. My friend broke hers by accident, so i got it for her, because she loves hello kitty!
Weekend plans: got to shop for some makeup for a poison ivy look. my friend wants me to do her makeup.
craziest lip colour: boots 17 poncho pink, it was wild and bright, but everyone said it suited me

Weekend plans: HALLOWEEN! It’s going to be so fun! I’m dressed up as a flapper this year.
Craziest lip color you’ve worn?: I’m not too bold with things like that…probably just a really bright red lip
OMG, Mellan is SO cute! He just has that kind of face that makes you know he is a big sweet ol mush… I particularly love bumble bee costume, insane cuteness!

haul: i ordered 3 coastal scents palettes; go beijing and go cairo and fall festival. i have heard mostly good reviews of their stuff and really wanted to try something by them considering the affordability! if they are good, i might have to buy the original 88 palette as well.
weekend plans: homework, scary movies and hanging out w/ girlfriends
craziest lipstick color worn: can’t think of one, i was never into lip color like that. i usually stick with something lighter to compliment my lip color.
Well, he sure got treats just for wearing those costumes long enough for me to photograph him, haha!

Craziest lip color you’ve worn?: Sparkly, frosty sky blue/lavender lip gloss – that was when Townley had distribution rights on Hello Kitty. I believe it was one of those three-color layered glosses (pink, purple, and blue)with a cotton candy scent and a Hello Kitty figurine in the cap. Or does MAC Spring Bean count?

Craziest lip color I’ve worn: MAC Landscape Green chromagraphic pencil with Bling Black dazzleglass. It’s stunning!
Where did you find that bat costume?! I’m a bat fanatic so my Cosmo NEEDS that but I haven’t been able to find anything big enough for him (seems like all of the costimes are made for tiny dogs)
Haul – None. I’m tapped out after Sephore and Ulta and Beauty.com all had 20% off.
Weekend Plans – Signed up for a class at MAC tomorrow. It’s my 1st so I’m super excited
Craziest Lip Color – I guess black, but back in the 90’s I rocked purple lips quite often

WEEKEND PLANS: Nothing planned yet. I’m thinking about some Grey’s Anatomy and Desperate Housewives marathon as the weather is horrible lol. I’m also planning on baking some delicious Pumpkin Pie 🙂 Nothing planned on Halloween either, people don’t celebrate Halloween in Italy.
CRAZIEST LIP COLOR YOU’VE WORN: I don’t really wear crazy colors lol. I think the edgiest ones I have are MAC Impassioned and MAC Saint-Germain and some Kiko Black Cherry. I would like to buy a black lipstick though!

Lip color: Blue. I use to wear all sorts of funky colors in my high school days. I recently ordered a yellow and a green lip tar from OCC. 🙂

Haul: I got my Sephora F&F order in yesterday, I got the Tarte LipSurgence set, Anastasia gloss set and Lorac gloss set! Earlier this week I went to a brand new Ulta to check it out and picked up Orly Fowl Play (soooo pretty) and a Sula blush (so pigmented, I need to practice!).
Weekend plans: Mall, take my car in, maybe get flu shots, go to Happy Hollow for their Halloween thing with my son.
Lip color: I don’t really wear crazy colors :/
clarins skin products! specifically the hp bright plus serum and night cream. trying to get rid of post-acne red marks 🙁 anyone know if these products are any good? or what products i should try instead?
I got lots of stuff this week.. my huge Sephora F&F shipment came which included Kat Von D e/s palettes in Saint, Sinner and Poetica, Korres Lip Blockbuster, Tocca parfum set, and several Perricone MD products. I also picked up Sephora by OPI nail colors in Sparktacular and Caffeine Fix. I’m set for awhile so I think it’s time to go on a “no-buy”!
Weekend plans: A coworker of mine has an art gallery opening at an art museum tonight so I am attending that with a friend and we’ll probably grab some dinner afterwards. Other than that, I plan on doing some organizing around the house.

Haul: good heavens but I bought a lot of stuff this week: some Avon stuff including a bucket sized bottle of Moisture Therapy body lotion and a bunch of their little Moisture Therapy hand creams; NYX Milk jumbo eye pencil; MAC Tempting eyeshadow, Spanking Rich Dazzleglass (my first ever MAC lipgloss!) and 2 of their new Prep+Prime tinted primers – the pink illuminating one and the yellow neutralizing one; Clarins Grenadine Jolie Rouge (a 2nd one), a new bottle of Blue Orchid Oil, the facial cleanser with cottonseed, Moisture Replenishing Lip Balm, Hydra Quench Bi-Phase Serum and their new Instant Definition mascara (which, amazingly, hasn’t smeared onto my under-eye area, a problem I always have if I put mascara on my lower lashes…not sure if it’s the mascara itself or the Double Fix mascara sealant I put overtop…I’ll have to experiment). I am really going to reign myself in after this splurge!
Weekend plans: Mostly putting the gardens to bed for the winter (lots of raking and cutting back plants) and I need to get a trellis of some sort for my climbing rose
Craziest lipstick I’ve worn: well, for Halloween, I’ve worn black liner as a lipstick but I don’t know if that really counts. I guess in “real life”, the craziest colour would have to be Impassioned by MAC.

Haul: I hauled a lot this week because of the Sephora F&F sale. I also got a bunch of stuff from the MAC holiday collection as an early b-day present. I hauled OPI Rainbow Connection nail lacquer, Diorskin Shimmer Star in Amber Diamond, Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Nectar, Fresh Mini Sugar Kissing Trio, NARS Pokerface nail polish, Tarte Amazonian Clay Discovery set and Korres Guava Indulgences set.
Craziest lip color you’ve worn? I suppose the craziest color I’ve worn is MAC Summer Shower, just because it looks aqua in the tube, but it’s sheer, so it didn’t look that crazy on my lips.
Mellan is so precious. Makes me want to get another dog!

Haul: My birthday was last Saturday, so I received some great gifts, including 4 MAC brushes: 213 129,116,150, and I bought the Maybelline Age rewind dark circle eraser and I love it for combatting darkness, but sadly it doesn’t do anything do the blue in my dark circles so I still have to use a corrector
Weekend plans: Working on a paper, trying to find a place to wear my Halloween Costume (Sookie Stackhouse)
Craziest lip color you’ve worn?: This Calvin Klein Fuchsia lipstick that was in the first sephora lip stash or whatever it was called, the color was literally neon pink
Sephora f&F haul… NARS belle de jour lippie, NARS Turkish Delight gloss, Clinique pore refiner primer, Clinique Cream shaper eyeliner in Starry plum, Benefit powders in Hoola and Dandelion, Kat Von D palettes in Ludwig and Saint, Kat von D pigment in Starcrossed, Too Faced Sweet Dreams palette, Tarte cream blush in Blissful and a MAC 187 brush (not at Sephora, obvs). Phew!
Weekend: Just a costume party/rock show on Sunday. Beers at my friend’s place tonight.

Craziest lip color you've worn: I'm surprised that I haven't worn any out-of-range shade! Neither mint green nor deep blue. Gotta try one starting with hmmm… blue maybe?

plans: today I went to my friend’s house with my other friend to make our halloween costumes. they are made of ALL duct tape: my friend’s Pikachu, my other friend Ash and I’m Happy Squid. It’s gonna be epic 🙂
then today was my sis’ bday party and all her friends are sleeping over so there’s tons of cake and pizza and chips and junk. tomorrow I’m going to Drumheller with my french exchange partner 🙂
