5th Anniversary Giveaway!

There’s really only one way to celebrate Temptalia’s fifth year of existence — and that’s with a giveaway. This giveaway is valued at $350+.

To enter & read official rules… 



The approximate value of the grand prize is $354.00. This prize is non-transferable. There are no cash or other substitutes of prizes by winner. Temptalia reserves the right to substitute similar prizes of equal or greater value in the event the above prize is unavailable for any reason. Individual, parent, or legal guardian of the winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes with respect to the grand prize. Prize will be mailed to the winner’s physical mailing address. Please allow six (6) to eight (8) weeks for delivery.

By entering or accepting the prize in this contest, winner agrees  to be bound by these Official Rules, Terms, and Conditions and to conform to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.

No purchase necessary to enter or win. This contest runs from October 3rd, 2011 through October 9th, 2011 at 12:01AM EST.

Eligibility

This contest is open to all participants unless prohibited by their local state/country. Prizes won by minors will be awarded to their parent or legal guardian on their behalf. For reference, the age of majority is 18 years old in the United States, with the exception of Alabama (19), Delaware (19), Mississippi (21), and Nebraska (19). The number of eligible entries received determines the odds of winning. Eligible participants are allowed to enter up to one (1) time, as per the section below.

How to Win

One (1) winner will be selected through a random drawing from all eligible entries after contest closes. In the event that the original winner does not meet eligibility requirements or he/she forfeits the prize, the prize may be awarded to the next randomly drawn eligible participant. All entries must be received on or before October 9th, 2011 at 12:01AM EST. The winners will be notified via e-mail or message (as applicable). Winners will have 48 hours to claim prize after initial notification. If winner fails to claim within 48 hours, an alternative winner may be selected.

I’m most excited about the Urban Decay products, because we don’t get those in Switzerland. I’d love to use the Naked palette in particular, but I’ve always wanted a MAC brush, too, but they’re soo pricy over here 🙁

wow one product I’m most excited for? I want them all! I never did get Volcanic Ash. But Lightscapade Mineralize Skinfinish sounds good too. I did get my hands on Marine Life but I love it so much, having a back up would be nice. Same with the Naked Palette.

I’m excited for UD’s Sweet Lucy smoke out kit! I am a huge fan of the smokey eye! I love Urban Decay’s kits because of all the cool stuff they throw in. Love the entire combination. Definitely most excited for Marine Life as I wasn’t as into makeup as I am now back then and it looks so gorgeous! I passed on Surf, Baby!’s My Paradise as it would have been a bit too much for my skin tone, especially without the gold overspray. Marine Life just seems like it would be a lot more wearable, plus it has a sea horse on it! I looked for Marina Life at a CCO I went to recently and they had the cream bronzer, which I wans’t so interested, and that was it for To The Beach. 🙁 I would love to win this!

Oh goodness this is really a a tough one because the UD pallets are fantastic but I think for me the most exciting product would be MAC Marine Life. It beautiful and I wanted to get it when it originally came out but wasn’t able to. It would be a strong competitor to my MAC Mighty Aphrodite for an every day blusher after I got past ruining the amazing design haha.

I’m definitely most excited about the MAC Marine Life Blush. I know that the gold is probably an overspray and sure, the design will wear away eventually but seriously. oh. my. gosh. I love seahorses! and it’s just so cute! I think the color will look really nice as well. I don’t really own much MAC other than a couple of eyeshadows because I honestly think I can get some of the colors at from cheaper companies, but this…this I can’t get from the drugstore, or even sephora (except lancome but dang, lancome is $$$!). I’m also excited for the black bling lipglass though. From the pictures, I think it’s a really sheer black gloss with tooons of shimmer? I definitely think that it’s unique to MAC. I would really love to try it out!

I’m most excited for the MAC Marine Life. When I went to order this at my local store, they were completely out of stock! I was devastated. I’m still relatively new to makeup, and the MAC To The Beach collection was really the first makeup collection that I knew about and was excited for the release. It was also some of my first high-end makeup products. Fast forward to present day and I’ve expanded to love other brands as well, but MAC, especially their To The Beach collection, will always hold a special place in my heart. I’m most excited about the UD Naked Palette:

I’ve learned so much about the quality of makeup in my years of collecting from different brands. One thing I really should do is, get rid of all of my lower quality generic makeup palettes (y’know, the ones from eBay/Coastal Scents). I’ve been trying to use those palettes along side other brands and they just don’t do anything for me.

I feel like I really understand Christine’s reviews better when she speaks of shadows being hard to work with. I was so clueless before!

i’m most excited about MAC lightscapade and the UD naked palette!
