I love Lightscapade, and I never got the chance to use it properly. I’d love to use it this fall to create a very romantic look. As a subtle highlighter or to just give a beautiful glow to my complexion, I’d pair it with soft, innocent cheeks, smoky brown eyes and neutral lips to recreate the look I’ve always had in mind with it ^^

Ellen Avatar

I’d use this with a pretty, peach toned powder blush and Illamasqua’s Scandal lipstick! For the eyes, I’d go simple, with lots of mascara… and that’s it.

Galatia Kardon Avatar

I would use the lightscapade mineral skinfinish all over my face concentrating on the apples of my cheeks for every highlite. Thanks for the opportunity for the giveaway!

Bong Avatar

its a pretty highlighter. Will firstly swatch and compare it with my laneige’s highlighter. They both look pretty much the same! Then swatch it on my face! 😀

Elyssa Avatar

I would use Lightscapade MSF as a really pretty highlight color. I would use it on my cheek bones and on my Cupid’s bow to give my lips a fuller look!

Samantha Avatar

I am always trying to hide my dark circles. Besides highlighting my cheekbones, I would probably use this to set my concealer and reflect any light of my circles so that no one can see them.

paula Avatar

i would use this as a traditional highlighter on cheeks and probably on the browbone and maybe as a wash of sheer color on the lids if I was in a hurry.

Wendy Luck Avatar

I would use it as a highlighter, across my cheekbones, the bridge of my nose, the cupid’s bow and at my temples. I’d also like to experiment with using it as an eyeshadow, to highlight the centre of dark lips, and as an all-over finish to my makeup.
An exciting giveaway – thanks Christine! xxx

amanda Avatar

this is so pretty! i would use it likely all over my face with a very light dusting as a setting powder, with extra on the areas i’d like to highlight, as well as on the Cupid’s bow to complement my Ethereal lip glass 😀 so pretty!!

Lottie Elvin Avatar

Depending on the amount of shimmer I would either use it all over as a setting powder that can give a nice glow. I find the colours in this are similar to the E.L.F. Complexion Perfection Powder and so would be good at correcting the skin. But if it is particularly shimmery like some of the other skin finishes, I would use it as a lovely highlighter. 🙂

Rosie Avatar

I’d use this over a bronzer to highlight the cheekbones, and on the collarbones to give a nice glow. And I’d also probably stare at it for a good while and admire its prettiness! (counts as a use, right? ;))

Alex Avatar

I’d use it very simply, as my new everyday highlighter. I tend to use a pale pink blush (or NARS orgasm, when the mood strikes me), with a highlighter. Winged liner, light wash of colour on the eyes, mascara and a ‘my-lips-but-better’ lipstick.

Emma Avatar

This looks like it would be a lovely cheek highlight with a peachy toned blush and might also be a nice quick wash over the eyes with a bit of eyeliner and mascara when you’re in a rush! 🙂 x

Teresa Avatar

I would use this to highlight cheekbones, bridge of nose, brow bone and above cupid’s bow to highlight and brighten. I would contrast it with Pressed Amber Mineralize Blush.

Cherie Mok Avatar

I would love to use this mineralize skinfinish as my permanent highlighter for my cheekbone and nose, the finish is totally prefect for my skin type and skin tone.

CatherineM Avatar

I would use it as a wash of shimmer on the lid and pair it with some black liner. I would also use it as a highlighter paired with MAC Stunner Blush, which is my favourite right now, and Bobbi Brown Indie Rose Lipstick for a simple yet luminous day look.

april Avatar

I’d use this to highlight, but specifically to highlight my nose because it’s a wonderfully square, no- bridge nose. Blame it on my filipino genes!

Hilary♥ Avatar

I would use as a highlighter 🙂 It’s such an amazing color and it’d go well with my skin tone which is very fair. I usually go for pinkish colors because they look better on me 🙂 so yeah definitely using this as a highlighter or on-the-go eyeshadow to put a little light on my lids. 🙂

Jordan W Avatar

I would definitely wear this as an all over color/ shimmer, I am so pale that this would probably bring a bit of color to my face and make me look much healthier

Melody Avatar

I think this is the only msf that would be light enough for me to use all over the face. I’d probably try it as an eye highlight, too. I’ve done that with semi precious pearl and it’s lovely.

kitty Avatar

I would hope to use this as a brightener all over. My complexion can be kind of dull. But if all over use was too much definitely along the cheek bones and my nose to create contours.

Liz McMullen Avatar

I think it would look phenomenal as a highlighter with a gray-green smoky eye, black eyeliner, black mascara, very light hand with stunner blush, and a light pink lip.

Elina Avatar

I’d use it as a highlighter ofcourse.
Or just a slight brush all over the face.
Orr even as highlighter for my browbone.
Love the light shimmers and the pastel colours of it <3

M. Avatar

besides using it as a highlighter, I’m thinking that it could also work as an eyeshadow with some black eyeliner or dark diversion fluidline from mac…

Diana Perez Avatar

I would use this as a gorgeous highlighter above my cheeks, or just an overall soft glow… this would look nice with both smokey eyes, and subtle neutral eyes! Love it! 🙂

Andrea Avatar

I’d use it constantly for cheek highlighter, and it would probably well well for a light sweep on the eyes as part of a simple winged liner and red lip look.

Rhonda Avatar

One of my favorite everyday looks is a natural low-makeup look with a few spots highlighted. It’s hard to find a good product to use for that. I’d highlight a bit over my lids, and on the high part of my cheekbones.

Jamie McNamara Avatar

Oh no I accidentally entered multiple times for the giveaway and I didn’t mean to! You can delete my extra ones, I definitely wasn’t trying to scam the system. Shame on me for not reading the instructions, I’m in college I should definitely know better :/

Sea Lee Avatar

I found out about this sometime last year and ever since then I’ve been dying to have it! I LOVE highlighters and specially with my skin tone, beige tone colors are great on me. I’m so excited about this!!

SHERRY Avatar

I would wear Lightscapade with a blue and peach eyeshadow combination and light brow bone color, peachy pinky blush with the Lightscapade as a shimmer on my cheeks and a pretty pink peach lipstick. Sherry

mixipixi Avatar

Love! So nice of you to offer this in a contest!! I would use it as an all over brightener or on top of a bright pink blush like bobbi brown raspberry pot rougue. I also love using colors like this on the inner corner of my eye and browbone.

Cinthia Avatar

I would probably use Lighscapade as a highlighter on my cheekbones and nose. And if it didn’t make me look too shiny I would also try to use it as an all over face brightener. 🙂

Kary Avatar

I would use the product the highlight certain areas of my face 🙂 And even on the side of my nose, by the tear ducts, to add some brightness to my eyes! 😀

Sarah Avatar

I think it would be a great highlighter for my nw20 skin and since its already sold out idk how easy it will be for me to find on other websites b4 they vanish. I dont wanna spend $30 in gas just to get it so thanks for the opportunity.
♥sarah

Petra Avatar

I bet I’m not the only one who wants this due to it’s lovely look- it seems similar to the MSF’s released in the Sugarsweet collection – the best msf’s to date, imo.
I’d use it on top of my blush on my cheeks.

Sev Avatar

I’m new to highlighters and msfs. I’d start by using it as a traditional cheek bone highlighter. Never had an msf, so if it works as a general brightener, I’d use it very lightly on my face.

Laura Avatar

I’d use it as a highlighter on the cheekbones and right on the brow bone, with neutral eyes, winged brown eyeliner, Bite Of An Apple blush and a nice pinky coral lipstick like Fresh Salmon or Ever Hip.

Katie Avatar

I would use this on top of my cheekbones for a nice, light highlight! I would also use it as an inner-corner, cupid’s bow and brow highlight as well. 🙂

Nisha Avatar

I’ve never gotten a chance to use this but I would definitely use it as a highlight to give me a beautiful glow with neutral eyes and a pink lip =]

Bernadette E. Avatar

This is so gorgeous. I would use this as an inner corner highlight, a brow highlight and to heighten my cheekbones. let’s not forget the cupids bow. <3 universalll 😀

Yuni Avatar

I would highlight for an ethereal look…&/or use as the crucial final cheekbone-accentuating step, after bronzer & blush, to achieving that radiant red-carpet glow (well, someday! practice makes perfect). And definitely incorporate it into my fairy princess Halloween look somehow, albeit with extra touches of (MAC) glitter 😉

Becky Avatar

I would use this as a highlight to bring some light and glow to my complexion on rainy days. I try to wear minimal makeup on days when it’s rainy because I really hate it when my makeup smears or smudges because of contact with the water. With just this lightscapade skinfish and some mascara and lipstick I’d be all set for the day!

Johanna Avatar

Oh beautiful! I love mac´s msf! I would use it as a cheek highlight for a beautiful glow! Right now Im using mac msf in soft & gentle, it would be awsome to try out Lightscapade!

Jade Avatar

I would love to use this as a subtle highlight to the appropriate areas of my face. I own soft and gentle msf and I love it so much. I really want to start collecting msf’s 🙂

April Avatar

I would use this to highlight the top of my cheeks and any other places on my face I want to draw attention to. I would love to see how it would look as a highlight color on the eyelid as well.

Aneta Avatar

I would use it solo – it looks like a perfect thing to use solo on vacations for that healthy glow that you have once you are tanned. Id just use some eyeliner, mascara, and lips!

Kay Avatar

I would use this over MAC’s Dainty blush. I’m a beginner, and I am still learning about highlighting, so I’d like to have this to learn with! It’s so gorgeous!

Emeline Avatar

I could really see myself using it as an all-over wash if I found my foundation a tad too matte. I think it would really work as a nice subtle highlighter since I’m really fair..

Thanks for this giveaway!!

Maggie Avatar

I would use Lightscapade as a cheek highlighter, in the winter I’d use it to brightened my entire face because I’m really pale and look slightly dead during the colder months haha

Line Avatar

I would use it as a highlighter, for every day use as well as evening/going out. I’m pretty convinced this could be used to compliment any look 🙂

grace Avatar

I would use MAC Lightscapade Mineralize Skinfinish to highlight cheekbones, cupids bow, bridge of the nose and brow bone.
along with a pink blush,
a non shimmer bronzer to contour the face,
with soft browns and pinks on the eyes,
and mac angel lipstick on the lips

Catalina Tate Avatar

I have really dry skin and it’s very dull looking in fall and winter. I would use this to highlight and brighten my face so I can get that healthier look I have during the Summer!
Fingers crossed XD!

Erin Joyce Avatar

i would use lightscapade as a face highlighter. it is so gorgeous and i wish i could have gotten it with this collection, unfortunately it was sold out </3

Krystal Avatar

i think i would use it as a highlighter just on the tops of my cheek bones most days, but dusted all over the face could be nice if i wanted to have some fun! 😛

Christine Avatar

i’m a biiiiggggg fan of natural makeup and i love the subtlety of lightscapade’s beige sheen. i would go really sheer and light with the whole look using lightscapade; beige and caramel eyeshadows with brown eyeliner, warm-toned pale skin and lightscapade on cheeks. i’d define eyebrows with brown shadow for a epicene look. i would leave my whole face but my cheeks semi-matte so the glow is accentuated. the lips, of course, would be nude pink – my all time favorite:)

ariana Avatar

I wouldn`t hesitate to use this as a highlight on my cheekbones, down my nose, and on my cupids bow, brow bone, decolletage, legs, etc-day or night. I have very oily skin all over and would probably get more use out of it at night, but I love me a good highlighter!

michelle Avatar

I would add this color to my brow bone area over a neautral base highlight color like blanc type, inner corners of the eyes, cheek highlighter, and maybe right above my cupid’s bow for an extra fullness!

Jessi Avatar

I don’t understand how to enter the contest. It says click ‘i did this’ and to do ‘one or more of the following below’ but i don’t see either ‘i did this’ or anything listed for the ‘below’ portion anywhere on the page or the post. =/ help?!

Anna Avatar

Oh, I’ve been really hoping for lightscapade to repromote for over 4 years now… too bad I can’t afford it right now. I would definitely use it as a Display Show Piece. LOL

Jessica Avatar

I could use lightscamade as a highlight or for an all over face glow, i am quite pale lol! If I hadnt been at work I would have been able to snag one 🙁

Elizabeth Overland Avatar

I love to do a very soft pinky cheek with a nice soft glowy highlight for my every day routeen. Lightscape would be the perfect highlighter to use with the mighty Aphrodite blusher from MAC that I use.

Veronica Avatar

I love matte foundations, as I tend to have oily skin, but used all over the face it tends to be a bit of a bore. I might use this as a highlighter to put back some intrigue, or maybe experiment in conjunction with a gloss that needs something extra.

BooBooNinja Avatar

I would use this to highlight the heck outta my glorious cheekbones — well… my cheekbones would look glorious when dressed with this gorgeous MSF!

Carrie Avatar

I love the looks of this! I am NW15, so I would use it either all over or just on my cheeks for that glowy look. It could also be a great highlighter on the cheekbones or under the browbone.

be Avatar

I would use this gorgeous msf high on my cheekbones applied with my MAC 188, to give a nice glow in the winter months with a nice rosy blush like Her Blooming Cheek. With a very soft brush like my MAC 168, I would take Lightscapade down to the apples of my cheek for a light romantic candlelit appearance when I smile. That’s how.

Teena Sanders Avatar

Like pretty much everyone else, I think I’d most likely just use it as a highlighter, but I’d like to see if it adds a nice shimmer to eyeshadow as well =)

Thank you for having this giveaway! <3

Casey Bruce Avatar

I woould use lightscapade as a highlight on my cheekbones for sure bc it looks beautiful for that! I also think I’d experiment with it as an eyeshadow as well!

Molly S Avatar

Since I’m really fair-skinned, I’d definitely use this as a highlight shade.

It’s gorgeous, and I think it would compliment fair skintones wonderfully!

Helena Elise Avatar

I would use this as a highlight on the top of my cheekbones as a highlight, along with a little bit of bronzer, some mascara, very light shimmery eyeshadow(thing Urban Decay Virgin, sheer across the lid with buck in the crease for some definition.) I’d probably add a light lip tint!

Hannah Avatar

I would use it as a cheek and brow bone highlight! I am pale enough and it seems non-frosty enough that I would try it all over my face lightly just to see 🙂

Sunnie Avatar

I would use this as a cheek or browbone highlight. If it turned out to be too shimmery for me, I would most definitely give it to my mom! Since I’ve started watching YouTube and learning more about makeup, my mom has become really interested as well. She would definitely love this! Also, thank you so much for making this contest so easy to enter! This is the first contest of yours I’ve ever entered so I’m not sure if they have all been like this, but the entry box is super convenient!

Lumi Avatar

I’d really like to use this as a highlighter! ^^

Btw, I noticed the contest ends on October 3rd (I’m pretty sure), but the “No purchase necessary to enter or win.” part says Sept 28th is the end date. o:

Erin Avatar

I don’t have any mac products, so I would use this as an introduction to the brand, and i’d use it as a highlight. I think it would work well with my skintone! 🙂

Elena Avatar

I would use this on top of my cheekbone daily! I have a sample of High Beam and it isn’t working out for me, but I think Lightscapade would be perfect!

Jessica Avatar

I would probably use Lightscapade the way I do other powder highlights by adding a light touch to the tops of my cheek bones, bridge of my nose, and temples.

PrincessAyra Avatar

I would use it as a cheek highlighter. I’d wear very minimal makeup on the eyes, probably just white eyeliner and mascara, and pink lipstick. 🙂

Tana Mongeau Avatar

I would take a stiff brush, and apply it to my hair. I do this with highlighters, because it makes my hair really shiny!

I would also use this as an inner corner shadow!

Love you christine!

Tori B Avatar

I would use this as a highlight when i was super poppin’ cheeks, or as a really pretty soft glow for blush when I am going for a more subtle look. I have had my eye on this one 🙂

Fiona Avatar

Ah I’d love this! Thanks for the opportunity. I’m super pale so would try it first of all as a light all-over glow powder, but would probably use it everyday as a cheekbone highlight.

Theresa Avatar

I would use this as a highlight. Brush some on my cheeks and the ridge of my nose (something I’ve been going everyday now) to have a glowy finish 🙂

Numera Avatar

I would use this as a highlighter on my cheeks, and also i would like to see how it works in the inner corner of the eye to pop them. It will look lovely on my olive skin color.

naira Avatar

I am addicted to this kind of highlighter under my eyes…between mi eyes and cheeks actually!….even during the day time, it doesnt need to be night…
😉

Laura Avatar

Love it!! I would use it in the apples of my cheeks after some matte blush. I love matte blushes but sometimes I go for some highlight in the actual apples 🙂

Christine O Avatar

I would try this first as a cheekbone highlighter and see how I like it. I am sure I can find some application that I love! Does just staring at it work?

Helen Avatar

I would use this as a great everyday highlighter for contouring my cheekbones. I’m hoping this will be THE highlighter to work for my pale skin and not make me look like a tangerine disco-ball!

Timothy Huang Avatar

I would use Lightscapade as a highlighter and as a finishing touch when i do my makeup. I believe this will look good on top of MAC’s Pink Swoon as Lightscapade can be applied on the highest point of one’s cheek bone. Perfect item to lust for! 🙂

Alice Avatar

I would use this for adding an extra glow to my cheeks, over a matte pink blush. On the lips a coral colour paired with neutral eyes with voluptuous lashes.

Brittany Avatar

I would love this as a highlight for my cheeks, down the bridge of my nose, and forehead. I am also wondering how it would work as a highlight on my brow bone. Would love to try it if I win it 🙂

Katie Avatar

ahh! i wanted this msf in the colection it previously came out with, but it was completley sold out by time i got to my local MAC, it would be amazing if i could win this! i would use it as a highlight for cheekbones and browbones, and maybe even as an eyeshadow! i think this would show up really well on me because i have very light skin!

Kate J Avatar

I would definitely use around my C-zone and the T-zone and maybe on the cheekbone but not too much since I have a big apple, I don’t want to emphasize it too much! 🙂

Nova Avatar

I remember drooling over this at 14 when it came out with the Danse collection! I have very pale skin and, as a contouring-and-highlighting enthusiast, I would definitely use this as a cheekbone and browbone highlight. It’s a refreshing break from overly gold-toned highlighters.

Melissa Avatar

I would use it to highlight my cheek bones, brow bones, and the inner corners of my eyes! I’ve been trying to get my hands on lightscapade since its original release. Thank you for this opportunity! 🙂

Erin Avatar

I collect the MSF’s, I would definitely use it as a highlight with my 188 or 187 brush! This color looks beautiful and I forgot that it was being released already. 🙁

lannie Avatar

I’ve been waiting for MAC’s lightscapade MSF to come out and to have a chance to win it is even sweeter! Thanks temptalia for your indefinite dedication in providing us all things make up, i love your blog channel!

Nancy Avatar

I’d use it as a highlighter with a mac 187 or 188 brush and dust it on the tops of my cheekbones for a radiant glow or all over for a lit from within glow!

Sharon M Avatar

I’d use it on the tops of my cheekbones, bridge of my nose, middle of forehead and chin (lightly — don’t want to look like a disco ball).

Linn Avatar

Ahh, it’s just so beautiful I would probably just stare at it for the first few days, then I would use it to give my face a nice wintery glow (it’s already getting cold here in Norway).

marcela Avatar

I drive almost 3 hours trying to get it and it sold out in San Antonio :(, I would use on the the inner corner of eye and cheek bones every day!

Mary Avatar

I absolutely adore Lightscapade! I would use is as a multi-tasking powder; eyeshadow, highlight, to add shimmer to a matte blush, EVERYTHING! Love, love, love!!

Lolly Avatar

I think this is sooooooooo pretty. Having a tight reign on my funds at the moment and havent bought any makeup in 3 months, thats a lifetime for me!
