I love Genuine Treasure Paint Pot, it so pretty and seems to have more depth than the rest. Normally I would be buying all of these but I’m on a hard core no-buy.

Hannah C. Avatar

First paint pot i would use would be Pure Creation with Freshwater or maybe even Steamy on top! I used Steamy on top of Blue Peep Fluidline once and it popped so i would LOVE to see what it looked like on top of something as blue as Pure Creation!

MsLelee Avatar

I would use Half-Wild paint pot all over my lid and on my lower lash line then smoke it out with MAC’s Embark for a non tradition smokey eye look! I love a great purple with my brown eyes!

Amelie Avatar

I would use a shimmery silver eyeshadow allover the lid and use MAC Half-Wide paint pot in the crease and on the outer corner of my eyes, the use black liner and loads of mascara! 🙂

Gina C Avatar

I would definitely use Nubile first! It looks like it would make a great base, and I’ve never used a Paint Pot as a base before, so it would be an interesting experience!

Pauliina Ollari Avatar

I’d totally use the Genuine Treasure Paint Pot first! I absolutely ADORE it! I’d propably slap it all over the lid and then apply some darker color on the crease, highlight in the browbone and inner coener, and BAM! ;D Amazing and easy smokey eye! 😉 But I LOVE every single one of these soo much <3

heinisha Avatar

I’m gonna go with Pure creation. I’d go with white shadow on the lid, then use the paint pot on the upper in a crease cut style. I would blend it out and use a very light silvery/blueish pigment for highlight.

kasiaj85 Avatar

I would definitely try out Half-wild as I am crazy in love with purples. :)) I’d use it as a base on the whole lid, then apply Grape of Push The Edge pigment all over it and finish it up with Fairy Lite pigment. I think I’d fall in love with that look.:)

Kesha Avatar

I’m loving the Half-Wild Paint Pot. My favorite color is Purple. It’s so hard to get the pan effect of purple eyeshadows, with a neutral or nude base. That Half-Wild is going to be so excellent in achieving the Perfect Purple look!

Kristy Avatar

I would love to use Half-Wild just to try and create a grape colored smoky eye! Plus it’s sold out at Nordstrom’s so it’s the only one I’ve failed to see in action….

Nadine Avatar

I would use Pure Recreation Paint Pot definitely at first! I would use it with naked lunch, blue flame and carbon to create a nice gradient color on the lid.
for cheeks I would use a light peachy color like pinch o peach and for lips a soft nude color like viva glam gaga 2. hope you like my idea 🙂

Dana Avatar

I’d use Pure Creation! I’d love to do a neutral lid look, maybe Femme Fi on the lid and Copperplate in the crease and Pure Creation on my lower lash line 😀 Thanks for having a contest! woo!

Alexandra Escobar Avatar

I love paint pots! I would use Genuine Treasure as a base before adding the pigment blue brown over it to make the color pop even more. =)

Abeer M Avatar

Hi!
i would use MAC Pure Creation Paint Pot as it is a beautiful blue that i would use to create Alexandra Stan Mr. Saxobeat Official Music makeup look 😀

Jilliterate Avatar

I would use Half-Wild as the base for a hyper-satured purple smokey eye, featuring all my favourite purples: Annabelle’s Prism, MAC’s Vex and Fig 1, and Urban Decay’s Freakshow. Maybe some purple eyeliner as well…. 🙂

Ana Avatar

I’d use the MAC Nubile Paint Pot, that is a gorgeous peach (unfortunately I don’t have nothing similar to this colour) and do a simple pin-up-ish look with it, simple and elegant, with a a pink lip. Perfect to go to the theatre and look polished without looking over done 😀

Natalie G. Avatar

Genuine Treasure Paint Pot- I have not tried the paint pots before, so I would play it safe and use it damp as an eye shadow (unless it is one of those not safe for eye area ones!).

Teresa Avatar

I’d try Genuine Treasure with Tempting on Lid, Shroom on browbone & inner corner, Charcoal Brown in crease, Humid on lower last line, Smolder smoked out on upper lash line & on waterline.

Amanda M Avatar

I would definitely first use the Mac Half-Wild paint pot and sweep it on my lid or use it as an eyeliner! All of the colors are so beautiful though!

Jessica Avatar

I would absolutely freak if I won this! :)It would be a hard choice but first I would probably use Genuine Treasure Paint Pot as a base under a goldy smoky sort of creastion, as it sticks out to me the most!

Mimi M. Avatar

Probably Pure Creation. I tend to be safe and go for neutrals but every once in a while I feel adventurous and like to challenge myself with something “different”. I’d probably do a look using MAC Blue Flame with it and a pretty nude lip.

Adell Avatar

I would use Genuine Treasure first. It’s such a beautiful color.
I would most likely use it as a base to create a work friendly/neutral smokey eye. I feel it would give the look a little extra pop w/out being too much

samantha Avatar

i’d use nubile, it’s a pretty peachy neutral shade that would look awsome paired with any color on top, especially something light and pink for a really peachy feel.

Veronika V Avatar

I’d use Nubile because I have never used such a colour before, and I love it! I will put it all over the lid, and then dust an eyeshadow of the same colour. Or test the creasing and wear it just with a primer and Nubile.
I have never tried a paint pot, so that would be great!

Elan Avatar

I loved Genuine Treasure from the moment I laid eyes on it! I would use it either as a shadow base on its own or as a liner with Nubile on the lid 🙂

Brittany Avatar

I’d probably use Genuine treasure, imaginary, or hyperviolet as bases to smoky looks. How can I decide just one? Jeez what a tough think to ask of us! Hyperviolet and imaginary I’d use for a deep, bold look and genuine treasure in a bronzey smokey look.

Julie Avatar

Wow, what an awesome giveaway! Those 4 paint pots are the EXACT ones I would have purchased myself if I wasn’t a poor student who can no longer afford makeup! LOL

Jennifer Avatar

I love love love purple, and so I’d definitely go to Half-Wild as a base for a purple smoky eye! Probably use a shimmery dark brown or black shade in the crease to add definition, and then mascara to top it all off 🙂

Stefani Avatar

I would definitely use Nubile paint pot as a base to amp up the colour of one of the sheerer peach shades in one of my Wet and Wild palettes (Greed).

izmel Avatar

i love nubile and would wear it as an everyday easy wash of colour all over my lid, with a little dark brown, purple, green black etc in outer v to accent it. see how versatile it is?

Mien Avatar

I’d use Half-Wild first ’cause I’ve been wanting to use a purple paintpot as a base since MAC first released them, I’d probably pair it with my two favourite purple pigments: Violet and Grape.

Jaweria Avatar

great contest .
I would like to use MAC Genuine treasure Paint pot first .. as i would love to create a soft smokey eye look..

liked your page for ages , and followed you on twitter as well

Nora Avatar

Oh, I didn’t see that I had to comment wich PP I would use first, and how. I actually think I would use Nubile first, as a everyday base. I think it will show of my blue eyes in a very pretty way 😀

Amanda Avatar

I have never tried Mac products before but I have become increasingly interested in their paint pots. I would try Genuine Treasure because I love olive colors!

xoBudgetBeauty Avatar

I would use the MAC Half-Wild paint pot first by applying it to my lids as a beautiful purple base. Then I would apply other eye shadows to compliment that color and really make my natural brown eyes pop. I love MAC & Temptalia!

AlexisV. Avatar

The first one I would use would be MAC Genuine Treasure Paint Pot, all over the lid into the crease, black liner all over the eye, including the water line, and lots of mascara. That’s it!

Gillian (AKA Munchy) Avatar

Pure Creation seems to have a lot of potential. I would probably use it as a base for a blue smokey eye. It also seems like it would hold its own as an eyeliner.

Jaime Brown Avatar

Would definitely use Half-Wild first! Have a super makeup heavy costume planned for Halloween and going to need to solid coverage, long lasting purple shades! Probably use a little Mating Call from the Peacocky collection overtop too!

linna Avatar

I’d put on genuine treasure and pat mac reflects antique gold on top. Then I would fly off to paris and call it a day 😉

no, seriously I love paint pots and these are just particularly beautiful!

Cindy Avatar

I would use Half-Wild first, can’t wait for a purple paintpot ! I often use purple eyeshadows, but i don’t have a matching paintpot. The colors i would use: MAC Cranberry (crease) and Parfait Amour (lid) and Noir Plum (to blend the colors)

Neeraj Avatar

I loved the PPs so much!! especially Genuine Treasure………I started collecting glittery paint pots since Champale and they are so easy and amazing to use……..I do use the UD primer potion before application though for an easy slip of color!

Kim L. Avatar

I am intrigued by the colors of this paint pot giveaway. Being I have oily lids, using a primer only doesn’t help keeping the shadows on without creasing but using a primer & a paintpot keeps it bright, bold and creaseless for the whole day. Thanks!

Erica Hall Avatar

I would love to try the Half Wild paint pot, with the Tarte for TrueBlood palette color ‘V’ I think it would look beautiful and unique. I think I’d like to try Nubile with my MAC Woodwinked as a second choice..

Mai Avatar

I would use the MAC Genuine Treasure Paint Pot for a night out or when I’m all dressed up!I would probably use it as an thick eyeliner and make a “Amy Winehouse ” kind of look but less dramatic!

Valene Avatar

I would definitely try out Half Wild first, since I’m a sucker for purples, my favorite color! I’d use it as a base under some of my favorite purple and pink eyeshadows.

Emma Avatar

Thanks for this! Totally giving away my nerdness here, but I’ve been wanting to do a Harry Potter look for AGES now, so I’d use Pure Creation with some bronze eyeshadow to create a Ravenclaw look xD

Marina Avatar

I’d use the purple one first. I dont have/haven’t found a purple base that I like and I cannot wait to make some purple smoky looks to bring out the green on my eyes

Christine Avatar

I would use the Nubile paint pot as a base for everything! It’s a fairly close match to my skin colour, so it would hide veins and even out my eyelid before I used eyeshadows. Thanks for the giveaway!

Nancy Avatar

Nubile would really even out my dark circles above my eyes and make a lovely base for my neutral or pale shimmery eyeshadows such as Naked Lunch and Jest. My daughters would love the other colors to pair with their Urban Decay vivid colors.

Vicky Avatar

I think i’d use the Genuine Treasure Paint Pot first all over the lid and blend in woodwinked and shroom into it. I lovveeee paint pots because the enhance the actual eyeshadow colours!

jasneet Avatar

I would use half-wild paint pot, and due to its vibrant purple colour, i would love to use it as an accent colour on the bottom lid. Or I would ude it as a liner, or a base under like shale to bring out the purples in it!

Maquela Avatar

I would use half wild first! Finally a true purple paint pot! I would use it as a base for the nars Eurydice over it for a beautiful purple smokey eye!

Argeleen Avatar

I would like to thank you and anyone helping you with this lovely website/blog! Thank you for your hard work, seriously appreciate it!
Thank you for this generous giveaway!

Kristina Avatar

Oops! Guess I should probably say that I would use Half Wild as a base colour then layer some warmer tones on top to add some dimension. Darker crease, dark intense lashes and a natural lip to really draw attention to the eyes.

Claud Avatar

I’d try Nubile first… just because it’s a nice neutral and it would suit an everyday look. But all the colors are nice. I don’t use any other e/s base, I just use my Bare Canvas everyday. New options would be great!

Elina Avatar

Amazing Giveaway!
I never had any way to try the paintpots by MAC, I really love te colours though.
I hope the winners will have lots of fun with the items =)

Quiara Avatar

Nubile and Half Wild are kind of tied for first for me now. Which is hilarious because when I commented on Google, I was sure it was Nubile and Genuine Treasure. But Half Wild won me over in, like, 22 seconds. 😛

Giselle Perdomo Avatar

I would love to use Idyllic after your review of all the collection Posh Paradise the pigmentation seem so Amazing, that it will be a perfect color for fall looks and even though I went to order on Sept 13 online this beautiful color it was already sold out but if I could get it I will be so excited to use this color all over the lid with a gel black eye liner and a little black eyeshadow on the crease and the v of the eye making it a smoky fall perfect look. Can’t wait I wish the luck comes my way 🙂

Cheimarie Avatar

I love them all but I will like to use first Nubile beautiful color.. I really like your website you are very talented!! I’ve share your website will all my friends and they are fans too.

Joyce Avatar

I’ve never owned a MAC paint pot. With this release, I went to my MAC store and couldn’t believe how big the jars are–but that’s a good thing xP It’s crazy how teeny tiny the mattene lipsticks are though!!

Abby Avatar

Definitely Pure Creation… I’d use it as a base in a blue smokey eye… partner it with Deep Truth, Carbon, Feline Eye Kohl, and add some lashes…36’s would tie everything together beautifully!

Maja Avatar

I’d use MAC Half-Wild Paint Pot on my eyelids with some gray/purple eyeshadow on top. I have blue eyes and I think this would look lovely. I’m super excited for this giveaway because I’m from Slovenia and I don’t own a lot of MAC products.

Christina Avatar

I would use Genuine Treasure first out of the others. I would use it as a base for all my browns/bronze shades to intensify the colour a bit or to add a sparkle. Then I would most likely smoke it out at the ends with a deeper shade. I love the complex shimmer!

sarah Avatar

i would use pure creation as a base underneath lucky green shadow. i did this before with a blue urban decay pencil(binge?) and it turns into the most gorgeous teal!

margherita Avatar

I’d use Nubile Paint pot to illuminate my eyelid with a natural effect.
I think it would work very good with a medium brown eyeshadow to create tridimensionality,a gold liner and lots of mascara!
Sorry for the english!I’m italian!

Laura Avatar

Mac Pure Creation or Half Wild…I’m not really a loud color person but those two color are so gorgeous I wouldn’t be able to pass up the opportunity to try!!

Julio Avatar

I would use Nubile Paint Pot on my lid as my base. Use some kid, orb, wedge or handwritten to create a nice neutral eye. Line the eyes with dark brown eyeliner for a nice daytime look.

littlelucy Avatar

I was in love with Nublie after I saw the swatches on it on your website but once the collection came out and I tried it on me in the store, it just didn’t do anything for me unfortunately. Call me crazy, I will want it because the color is gorgeous!

Cynthia Avatar

I would use the Mac Half Wild Paint Point on the lid with a swipe of my new gorgeous Inglot pearly Lavender (#441p) and blended out with some beautiful Nubile Paint Pot! All this to rock a rock star subtle purple somekey eye & celebrate our fabulous female beauty!

jessica Avatar

I use MAC Genuine Treasure Paint Pot first.Mac Woodwinked over it with Mac carbonized in the crease and on the lower lash line smoked out. finish with blacktrack fluidline.

Marian Avatar

I would use Genuine Treasure Paint Pot under a matte taupe shadow to give it a little more dimension and oomph and of course to keep it from creasing the whole day through!

Telma Avatar

I would use Pure Creation paint pot first because I just love blue with my skintone, and I think I would use MAC freshwater on top and sugarpill buttercupcake to cut the crease 😀 I think this would be a beautiful and fun look 😀

Diana Avatar

Genuine Treasure is just so pretty! I am a sucker for golds, bronze, copper colors. I would use this as a base, and apply a gorgeous gold color to make it pop! I love all the paint pots in this collection! 🙂

Amanda Blyskal Avatar

i love paint pots but with the economy i don’t have the money! i sure hope i win! that would be amazing! i would use treasure first because its almost FALL!!! and its the PERFECT COLOR!! i would put nubile on the lid and treasure in the crease. it would be beautiful with just a pop of color with nubile. great transition look from summer to fall.

Heather Avatar

I would LOVE to win these…there isn’t a MAC near me, so I would never be able to get my hands on these…I especially love Genuine Treasure, Thanks 🙂

Mo Avatar

Half Wild is gorgeous with MAC’s Contrast in the crease/outer corners. I would love to try Idyllic with MAC’s Mythical on top of it and Carbonized in the crease/outer corners.

Hannah Avatar

I would try Pure Creation paint pot. I love the blue color and applying my blue shadows over this paint pot would make it pop so much and make my brown eyes appear much brighter. I don’t have a color this pretty 🙂

Maureen Avatar

I wouldn’t be surprised if they brought them back and/or made them permanent or seasonal. I got lucky, though, my mall has two MAC stores. People always seem to forget about one of them, so I went over there and they still had every color left, even though the salesman told me that they had barely sent ANY. Very excited. :3

Mary Avatar

I would use half wild paint pot as a base for a gold and purple smokey eye. MAC’s woodwinked on the lid with nocturnelle on the outer V (with half-wide as a base.

Elizabeth Overland Avatar

I’d use Genuine Treasure first I think. I love a nice brown smokey eye So I’d use Genuine Treasure as a base and then proceed to use various shades of brown to achieve a blended smokey look. I’d probably pair it with a light contort, subtle pink sheen to the cheeks, and a deep red lip.

Elizabeth Avatar

Imaginary PP makes a beautiful winged liner! Love it with Naked lunch all over the lid, and some Copperplate at the outer corner and smudged under the eye. I’d love to own them all, Paint Pots are some of the most versatile prodcts!

Elizabeth Avatar

Imaginary PP makes a beautiful winged liner! Love it with Naked lunch all over the lid, and some Copperplate at the outer corner and smudged under the eye. I’d love to own them all, Paint Pots are some of the most versatile prodcts!

Kira Avatar

I would use Pure Creation with a touch of White Rabbit (Tartan Tale – Reelers and Rockers) on the inner eye and Prussian on the outer crease to get a blue smokey 🙂

Daniela Avatar

I would use MAC Genuine Treasure Paint Pot first as this is the easiest PP to achieve a nice look for work 🙂 I wouldn’t have to wait for evening or weekend to try a more brighter look with the violet or blue one for example.

Lingping Avatar

Half wild is the one that tempts me the most. I think i would use it as a base for my new Bare Escentuals holiday shadows. I think it would turn out very purple and nicely shimmery.

T_Pay Avatar

The colors are so pretty yet different, I can’t choose just one! I would mix the bronze with the peach for a pretty hilite on my NC45 skin. Another option would be to use the bronze color to create a smokey eye a la Heidi Klum like she wears on Project Runway – such a sexy, pretty yet natural look. The purple and the blue I would mix with the bronze for colorful, yet subdued smokey eyes. Dang, I want this!

Adee Avatar

I would use genuine treasure on the lid with smoked ruby in the crease… Russian red lipstick and sunbasque blush! And maybe a little bit of genuine treasure on the cupid’s bow and the top of my cheekbones to highlight.

Rabia Anwar Avatar

hmmm,… seeing as i have never owned a paintpot, i’d have to experiment but i’d use Half- Wild paintpot in the outer corner and blend it in with Nubile paint pot !!

Miss Mercurial Avatar

I’m waiting on an order from Brazen Cosmetics, but if I had it already and the paint pots to boot, I’d layer Paradox over Half Wild. Probably line with Pure Creation for kicks 🙂

Magdalena Avatar

I would use Nubile Paint Pot first, I think it’s an excellent choice for a base, I would apply Genuine Treasure on top of it. A natural yet glamorous look!

Helene Avatar

Mac Half-wild Paint Pot.. First use it as a base for my purple smokey eyes and then as a eyeliner, mixed with either a black, purple or pink eyeshadow to frame the eyes! 😀

laurel Avatar

i would use genuine treasure and then put golden olive pigment on top and smoke it out a little on the corners. Then use black eyeliner to make a cat eye and line the water line. Then finish it off with mascara.

Sonya Lynn Avatar

I would use half wild as a lower lash line swipe of color and a neutral upper lid with naked pigment or something similar. I think the contrast would be fabulous topped off with loads of black mascara.

Mai-Huong Avatar

Half-Wild looks so pretty – i would use that all over and then Genuine treasure for a bit of shading in the socket before putting on some liquid liner.

Christy O Avatar

As I read they make great bases, and I’m just starting to learn about neutrals, I’d put the first dent in Nubile. Then go crazy with neons on top.

Vennie Avatar

I would like to try Genuine Treasure first, all over my eyes and to line my lower lash line. I do trust the poor review of this one, but I just need to try it for myself because I can’t resist the sparkles.

April Avatar

I love paint pots..I use them almost everyday. I know several people use NYX’s Milk jumbo pencil as a base for bright looks, but for me it’s always painterly! And Half Wild is gorgeous and would look great with my brown eyes:)

Sephora Avatar

Definitely Nubile first! All over the lid with some Handwritten in the crease. Dip Down fluidline to line the upper lash line and inner rims of the eyes.

Jen Avatar

Nubile would be pretty with expensive pink on top…as an everyday work look with Buried Treasure liner smudged on the lower lash line and lots of mascara. A nice peachy lip would be great too.

Windie Avatar

I would use genuine treasure first for all over lid color, then line under eye with imaginary to do a reverse smokey eye. Highlight with nubile and pop of color with treasure hunt.
I would also use nubile and treasure hunt for cheeks.

Elitsa Avatar

Thanks, Temptalia, for this great giveaway!
For a more subtle look I’d use the peach shade on the whole eyelid and some purple to accentuate the outer corners.
But more likely I would use the blue and purple on the whole upper eyelids to create “peacock eyes” and the peach just under the brow and a bit below the lower lashes and in the inner corners of the eye, to give light :))
If I had a tan (alas, not in this life LOL :))) the peach and taupe would create the perfect “Bronzed goddess look”.

KASDY Avatar

I would first use blue shade paint pot all over my lid. I would top that with any blue eyeshadow and use a bronze eyeliner. This eye look reminds me of a beachy look!!

Genevieve Sobel Avatar

I went to the Posh Paradise demo at my MAC and the MUA used Pure Creation with Tilt on top and smudged out the edges- it looked so nice. But, if I hadn’t had that demo, I would have used Genuine Treasure with woodwinked or sumptuous olive on top with black liner and lots of mascara!

Sarah D Avatar

I love Nubile! It’s such a peachy looking color, and I’m sucker for neutral peachy looks. I think it would be great as a base for an everyday neutral eye, or even as a concealer for dark under eye circles.

Tabitha Avatar

I would use Half Wild first for a dramatic purple eye, if it looks how I imagine it would look on my skintone, I think it would be really pretty with MAC’s violet pigment over it, Nocturnelle and a blackened purple in the crease, and dramatic black winged eyeliner. I would pair that with a nude lipstick like Creme D’Nude, because any more color would be too much, even for me.

Jenni Avatar

NUBILE definitely is my sort of color! I go to school, so anything that’s one-sweep-and-go is best. The other colors would be great to use on the weekends 🙂

Kenner Avatar

I would love try Nubile first, I would probably reach for it more often than the others, but that’s not to see that the others won’t get lots of love.

Karla Avatar

I’d love to use True Creation paint pot as a base with sky blue pigment and a little deep truth in the crease. I think it would be really pretty, but not office friendly 😛

Debbie Cassis Avatar

OHHHH! I’d use Half-wild as a base for a purple smokey eye and put Fig 1 on top to set and smoke out and then use Genuine Treasure to add dimension to my look!!

Zoey Avatar

I would probably just use Nubile as a wash over my lid first. Slightly boring, I know, but it would look gorgeous and get me out the door quickly and beautifully. Then, when things settle down with school and I have more time I would probably play around and create some more glamorous looks!

Pappetee Avatar

I love purple smoky eyes! I would use the MAC Half-Wild first as a shadow base and apply it using my 242 shader brush. Next, I would damp my 239 brush with the MAC H20 based mixing medium and dip it in my Violet pigment to intensify the purple tone even more. Then I would add a touch of MAC Purple Haze Eyeshadow in the crease and outer v and just blend it out smoothly by using my 217 brush. For added drama, I would line my upperlid (about midway of the eyes) with a thin line of Blacktrack fluidline, line my lower lid with Smolder eye kohl and for the finishing touch, curl my eyelashes and apply my Zoom Lash Mascara in High Esteem. 🙂

katy j. Avatar

I just bought my first paint pot last week, so I would probably start off with something neutral, nubile, or genuine treasure, but I do love purple!

Rhonda Avatar

Might be my obsessive love of all things purple, but the first one I’d give a try is MAC Half-Wild Paint Pot. I’d likely either use it as a base, or line my eyes with it and set it in with a purple shadow.

Marina Avatar

AH! I didn’t say how I’d use it! Sorry, Christine! I hope you’ll still count it! I would use all of them to make neutral shades pop as well as increase the awesomeness of bright colors! I can see Pure Creation bringing out the blue in some of my teal shadows (Surf U.S.A.!) and Genuine Treasure with MAC Bronze!

Liz Avatar

I’m somewhat confused by this new system I must admit, but I’m sure you have it under control. I would really love to try out Nubile, I wonder how it’ll look against my skintone.

Marie S. Avatar

I would use pure creation paint pot with deep truth blue sheen with silver ring in the water line and inner eye corner with black track fluidline and loads of mascara and falsies. I love blue and silver together.

Assie Avatar

Pure Creation is the blue i have been waiting for! I would use it underneath blue and turquoise shadows i have like Moon’s Reflection or Aquadisiac.

Grace Avatar

I would use Pure Creation first to create a blue-grey smokey eye. I’d layer it under a matte grey with a pop of a shimmery blue w/ black base eyeshadow in the crease (think NARS Brumes duo).

Josefina Lucas Avatar

I WOuld love to WIN! I want os badly Genuine Treasure to use as a wash and I think itll go perfect my limited edition GO starflash eyeshadow..

Ilan Shomorony Avatar

I would use nubile paint pot and do a very neutral look using Urban decay naked all over the eyelid and MAC cork eyeshadow on the crease! 🙂

Rosamary Parrado Avatar

I would use Idyllic Paint Pot and use a color like Satellite Dreams, with the base having that copper, burgundy, red finish I feel it would make the Satellite Dreams pop.

varsha Avatar

I would start by using nubile the skin tone color would work great as base and then I would add Genuine Treasure paint pot at the corners of the eye.. and i will make it a natural smokey eye for the day.. and for the night i will take the same Genuine Treasure paint pot using a pencil brush i will added to rim of the lower lashes to make it more intense.

annabelle Avatar

MAC half wild looks fab!! I would just wear it as a simply eyeliner with mascara. I will wear nude lipstick too. Just simple with the purple pop on the eye

Ashley P. Avatar

Oops, I hit post before I finished! I would use this color as my daily base for my neutral eye. I would accent the color of Genuine Treasure with a deep brown in the crease and a pearl in the tear duct. 🙂

lilia Avatar

I think nubile would be a great versatile shade for neutral looks while I could use pure creation, genuine treasure and half wild as bases for smokey eye looks YAY

Sarah Avatar

I’ve been dreaming about this product combination for so long– I’d want to use Nubile in the inner half-ish/three-quarters-ish of the eye, then blend Half-Wild in from the outer corner, creating a sort of cat-effect towards the temple. Next, I’d want to pat MAC’s Malt on the Nubile portion of the eye, while placing (MAC’s) Starviolet on the Half-Wild portion, blending the two together. To highlight, I’d use a combination of Rice Paper and Orb– contouring the outer corner with Fig 1/Sketch. FINALLY (ha, after all of that…), I’d use Blitz and Glitz gel liner and Chanel’s Inimitable Intense mascara in deep purple to top it off 🙂

Jolene Avatar

Nubile looks perfect as an everyday base, whilst the others would make me step out of my comfort zone of neutrals. I’d probably use them as eyeliners first, and then gradually as all over lid colors or bases.

Juliana O. Avatar

I would use MAC Genuine Treasure Paint Pot all over the lid as a wash of color for an everyday look, and as a base for a brown smokey eye at night 🙂

Andrea Avatar

I’d use Genuine Treasure first. I love the glitter paint pots. They are the only paint pots I usually buy because pp crease on me and I prefer the Benefit Creaseless Cream shadows. But when a special color like this comes out I will buy paint pots.

Camila R Victorino Avatar

I would use Pure Creation Paint Pot first! All over the lid with MAC’s She Who Dares MES (the blue part) on the crease, smoke the outer line out with a almost pale blue like sky blue, them add mascara and line the waterline with a black or midnight blue pencil. Warmth of Coral on cheeks, and fleshpot on lips!

Kira Avatar

I would use the Half-Wild first because it’s sold out EVERYWHERE and I want to see what the hype is all about. Probably a light wash for an evening look. Purple looks great with my blue eyes!

Shannon Avatar

I’d put the purple underneath Stars and Rockets eyeshadow to see how it would look on one eye, then put the blue underneath the same shadow on the other eye!!

grace Avatar

I would use MAC Half-Wild Paint Pot as a base for a deep smokey purple. macs vanilla as a highlight,
mac satellite dreams (plum purple) on the outer V,
mac digit in the inter corner of the eye to bright up the look
mac carbon to give a smokey look on the outer V as well as the bottom lash line.
followed by mac smolder around the eye both top and bottom, mac blacktrack for a thin winged eyeliner, and finish with mac haute and naughty mascara!

blkrox Avatar

I’d love to use Genuine Treasure as a sparkly wash of color from my lashline to just above my crease, then I’d tightline with a black liner, add at least two coats of mascara and pair with a matte, pinky nude lip!

Fabiola ochoa Avatar

The first paint pot I would use is Half Wild as a base for sketch to creat a purpluly sexy smokey eye for fall. Thanks for the chance to win !!!!!!

Alisha1 Avatar

I’d definitely try Idyllic first maybe with Smoked Ruby MES on top so that it can really bring out the red! Oh and maybe the yellow in Genuine Treasure would really make Golden Gaze MES more gold (I ordered online and received one with lots of black)

victoria Avatar

ooo i would definatly use imaginary. It’s seems like a gorgeous grey something you can smudge over the lid and look put together or layer to create a smoky evening look 🙂

Rebecca Avatar

I really like Nubile because it’s close to my skin tone. I’d use it as a base to cover up any discolorations and then put any color over! I also love the purple to do a smokey purple look 🙂

lINDSAY Avatar

These are gorgeous colors but I’d have to say I’d use the Half-Wild paint pot first and pair it with the Hyperviolet paint pot and Crystal or Beautiful Iris eyeshadows. Purple colors go well with my skin tone. 🙂

Paloma Avatar

I would use Nubile paint pot as a base, I would apply it with my fingers, and after that I would apply a pink-ish eyeshadow, just for an everyday wear. Maybe some Satin Taupe in the crease to add some depth.

Ann Avatar

I would use Genuine Treasure with Chase to highlight. I can’t wait to try Idyllic and Imaginary as well as these! These are some of my favorite paint pots to date. 🙂

Kellie Avatar

I would use genuine treasure and take a 239 brush and take genuine treasure and pack it on. after that I would add sumptuous olive to add the color to it. Then I would put genuine treasure over it to bring the glitter back. Then take a 219 and smudge it underneath. Then add black eyeliner in the waterline and and tight line.

sharon Avatar

nubile for sure! i love those shimmery nude shades as a base or as a wash because you can either do a heavy colour in the crease for a dramatic look, or just add eyeliner for a quick every day look 🙂

K Avatar

Pure Creation–I love that blue! I think I’d have to spend a lot of time just playing with them. I’ve never had paint pots before and I’d love to see what I could do with them should I get my hands on a few!

Jen Avatar

I would wear Genuine Treasure paint pot first – on my lid with gold/green color like Sumptuous Olive in the crease and smudged along my lower lash line. Bisque along the brow bone. Stunner on the cheeks and a sheer lip – maybe Just Superb Cremesheen Glass.

Stephanie S. Avatar

I would use Genuine Treasure all over the lid and smudged a bit underneath the eye with black liquid liner on the upper lashes for an edgy, kinda smoky look.

Ashley Avatar

I would use Genuine Treasure as a base and play with either Antique Gold or Old Gold pigments over it. I’d have to see how the color looks on my own skin tone first.

studiodummies Avatar

I’ve never tried paint pots before, but have wanted to try one – I was waiting for bright colors. So I would definitely start with Pure Creation on the lid or in the crease, with some sheer color over top that has blue shimmer/sparkle!

Teresa Avatar

I’d put down Half-Wild on the lid and blend slightly into the crease then use Genuine Treasure in the crease and blend it out. I adore this collection!

MsJessnJ Avatar

I sure do hope I win. I couldn’t get any of these paint pots this time around and they are so sooo soo pretty 😉 My favorite is pure creation!

HBoo Avatar

Nubile! It’s perfect, and I even attempted to buy it online! Funny thing was, while shopping mac’s mobile site it was sold out right after I put one in my cart.

Brianne Avatar

I would use Nubile first and pair it with some of the shadows from my UD Naked palette, it looks like it would compliment pretty much any of those shades perfectly!

Tania Avatar

I would use Nubile paint pot as a base from the lash line to brow bone, pat Shroom e/s on on the lid, Haux e/s in the crease, and Sketch in the outer V for a neutral eye with a bit of shimmer! I love how paint pots work as bases, no creasing for me and it helps my eye shadow lasts all day!

Melody Avatar

I would use Pure Creation first! I’d use it as a base for MAC’s Clarity MES that came out this summer. It would be blue-grey sparkly gorgeousness. I’d probably pair it with a very light cheek and a pale pink lip. Now I have the urge to go play around with makeup…:)

Kiah Avatar

All of these paint pots are gorgeous, but I definitely think I would use Pure Creation first, with Aquadisiac on top and Club in the crease. (YAY BLUE!)
Genuine Treasure looks beautiful as well, though, and I would find no end of uses for it I’m sure, even just by itself!

Jessie Q Avatar

Oooh, I was just looking at these today. Awesome! I didn’t buy any. There was no one at the counter… if there had been, they might have talked me into one!

Leah Avatar

I would use Nubile as a base color on its own. I currently teach and I don’t like to wear anything sparkly or showy for make-up, and Nubile seems like the perfect neutral color to perk up my eyes on days when I am looking a little sleepy.

Renae Christina Avatar

I would use the Half-Wild Paint Pot first- place it all over the lid and blend it just above my crease with the 217 brush. then take cork to the crease, soften up the harsh edges and apply orb as the highlight. then, go back in and apply all that glitters to the inner part of my eye, star violet to the mid lid and embark at the outer-V. then embark to the lower outer half of the eye, star violet in the middle and all that glitters on the inner part!!!

Sarah Avatar

Pure Creation!! I have so many amazing blue shadows that would work so well with this paint pots. This as a base would create some amazing shades and depth of colour with a bright matte blue and silver on top. Im in love with looking at this colour

Michelle Avatar

I would use Pure Creation first, with a shimmery gold eyeshadow in the inner corner and highlight and MAC carbon in the outer V area! Thanks for hosting this giveaway! 🙂

Gabi Avatar

I would use Nubile alone! It looks like a gorgeous neutral. I might layer a shimmering peach over it and apply a shimmering brownish color in the out V and blend for a natural look.

PrincessAyra Avatar

I would first use MAC Genuine Treasure Paint Pot as a base color for my lid if I want to do a sexy evening look. I think my eyes would look fab. 🙂

Babs Avatar

I would use Half-Wild paint pot all over my lid and on my lower lash line. Then I would line my upper lid with Urban Decay Zero and smudge it for a smoky look. I’d apply a lighter smoky line of Zero on my lower lid, letting the Half-Wild peek through.

Lena Avatar

I would use the Nubile paint pot first! I love the color, but I would put it all over the lid, and use MAC Outre in the crease. I think those colors would like beautiful together. And then Black liner and black mascara! Even if I don’t win, I’ll buy this paint pot! 🙂

Lauren Avatar

I would use Genuine Treasure under Kat Von D’s Taxidermy, which is a gorgeous mid tone bronze. I feel like the paint pot would bring out the golden shimmer in the shadow.

Melissa B Avatar

Hello christine
I would use all of these paint pots they are so gorgeous! heres how =) …

HALF WILD:I would use half wild for a sultry smokey eye with mac push the edge pigment all over the lid and mac My dark magic shadow in the crease-along with estee lauder rock candy gloss

NUBILE : id use nubile as an eyeshadow base and then also as an eyeshadow on its own because it would really be pretty for a no makeup look its an eye brightener for sure! id tightline my eyes and add a little mascara along with some buxom bunny lip gloss

PURE CREATION: id use pure creation as a base and then use mac frozen pigment on the inner corner of the eye with mac fresh water on the entire lid followed by mac blue sheen in the crease- along with givenchy sparkling lip balm.

GENUINE TREASURE: id use genuine treasure all over the lid as a base with urban decays hustle shadow over it followed by urban decays creep shadow in the crease-along with mac peachstock and mac playtime plushglass

thank you so much for this opportunity to win these beauties!

Diana Hernandez Avatar

Well I’ve done this look already and LOVED IT… Street Cool Shadestick as a base, Genuine Treasure on the lid, a combo of Moleskin and Outré in the crease, naked lunch on the inner corner, MSF natural on the highlight because the rest of the eye was so glittery. I can’t wait to get my hands on Pure Creation and Half Wild!!

karen Avatar

i would use genuine treasure paint pot under reflects antique gold, with mulch on the outer corner and brule as a highlight…with lots of black eyeliner smudged on the lower lashline, a thin stripe of liquid liner on top, and lots of mascara!

kara Avatar

I’d love to try Pure Creation first with a purple look (I’m thinking Sketch would be gorgeous with it). A MAC MA suggested this to me this weekend and I think it sounds great!

Lumi Avatar

I’d love to use the purple paint pot to do a wicked eyeliner look instead of doing the usual black.
Add lots of black mascara to keep all the attention to the eyes. Pair the eyes with a simple, nude lip. ^^

Amy Avatar

I’ve not tried any paint pots before, so first off I’d play with all of them. Then I’d probably wear Nubile as a base for a day to see how they work on my eyes. After that I bet Half-Wild and Genuine Treasure would get lots of use!

stephanie Avatar

hi temptalia
well for starters, i still like to use a primer for mac paint pots so i put on urban decay primer potion then i would Mac Genuine Treasure paint pot and do a golden toupee smokey eye. I would take goldmine for my all over the lid color and satin in the crease.

Becca Avatar

I think I would use nubile as it’s my favourite colour (I love neutrals) and I would put pixi champagne with UD in the crease and brule as a highlight for a really soft look

Sam Avatar

i havent used any paint pots before so any. but if i had to pick. i would pick genuine treasure. it sounds like a perfect wash of colour on the lids with some liner and mascara. 😀

Zayda Avatar

Definitely Nubile! I would love to try it with fall colors…I would first prime the lid (since I have oily lids), use Nubile all over, then use cranberry, samoa silk, mulch, and an dirty orange (cant think of one now) on top. Would be a nice fall/turkey season look!

Mel Avatar

Half-Wild Paint Pot on lid,
Stars ‘n Rockets on the inner corner 1/3 of the lid,
Purple color of the MAC Double Feature 1 on the rest of the lid and lightly “V” on the outer corner, then blend Shale in the crease and lower lash line. Add black liner to the top lid and waterline and finish with black mascara.

Katie Avatar

I would love to use nubile as a primer for my under eye concealer actually, I have heard it brightens up darkness wonderfully because of its peach color!

Bethany Avatar

I’d use pure creation with Urban Decay Frigid eyeshadow over the top to make it seem more blue and with some Freakshow and Sugarpills Stella chromalust in the crease and outer v.

Mia Avatar

I would use Genuine Treasure as a base and fade out color for an intense brown smokey eye!
Great night out look, paired with maybe MAC’s Satin Taupe and of course a nice mate white for highlight.

Whitley Avatar

I think the Genuine treasure would be the first one i grab. I would pair it with my gold pigment from the surf baby pigment stacks on top and deep brown in the crease with a purple in the outer V………So please pick me!!

Cait Avatar

I have had my eyes one these colours but thanks to the price of school, I have not been able to purchase them. I think Nubile would make such a pretty base under a sheer pigment and the others would make lovely liners <3

Dini Avatar

Ooooh, I love contests. Genuine Treasure was all gone online last time I checked, so this may be my only chance. Thanks for the contest and all the reviews!!!

heidi Avatar

So I was confused before because I read this on my phone. I would use nubile as I don’t actually have a skintoned paint pot like painterly or soft ochre and its really a must have!

Amy Avatar

Im not quite sure if this would work, but I would use pure creation as on my eyelids then add sheer shimmery light purple on my lids to fake that duo chrome 😀

tatiana Avatar

The first paint pot I would use is Genuine Treasure as a base for my favorite bronze taupe eyeshadow or pair it with other colors for something unique.

Mahnaz Jansson Avatar

Christine, I went to the google plus website and it says that they are full right now and so it will not let me get an account. Is there anything I can do to still be qualified for this drawing?? 🙁 Thanks

Patricia Avatar

I would use Nubile first! Most days I wake up for work at 5:30am and leave at 6, so there’s hardly any time for makeup. I would use Nubile as a wash all over the lid to make me look more awake, simple as that. 🙂

Irena Avatar

I’m gonna use the purple one as an eyeline. First of all, I have deep brown eyes and purple eyeshadows and liners really make my eyes pop. Also, purple is my favorite color!!!

Maryam Avatar

I would use Half wild paintpot first!! i would blend that all over my lid, and top it with creme de violet eyeshadow(my favorite!!) and add plum dressing to the crease or just leave it like that!

helen Avatar

I would use Genuine Treasure with Patina eyeshadow on top on my lid and add a winged liner with Blacktrack. I would smudge Genuine Treasure into my lower lash line and top it off with Powersurge eye crayon. Then I would top it off with black mascara.

Katie Avatar

I would use the half wild paint pot all over my lid and blend it out then apply urban decay gunmetal into the crease. Then smudge black liner on the top lash line and bottom. I would also take gunmetal along the lower lash line. And finish with lots of black mascara top and bottom to create a fall rocker eye makeup look.

Deneuve Avatar

i will definitely use PURE CREATION! That cerulean blue look awesome!

i’ll place it on the lower lid, and I think it would go well with Aquidisiac on the crease and a little Deep Truth on the outer V for a teal/blues combo. Or a little Goldmine on crease and Satin Taupe on the outer V for a little gold accent against blue. both looks will also have Ricepaper on the inner eye corner for a little oomph!

these beauties have not reached Singapore yet, so please please please… pick me! 😀

Jennifer Richardson Avatar

I’d used the Mac Paint Pot in Nubile first as an eyeshadow base then I would put my regular eyeshadow on top, probably in a nice dark brown color since I tend to stick the natural toned colors for everyday wear. Might even use Nubile as a base for a brown smokey eye using the Butternut palette from ELF

DiJaNa Avatar

I would use Nubile! I thin kit would make a really nice every day neutral wash of color in the lid! Half Wild would be my second choice since purple brings out my green eyes so well 😀

Kate Monster Avatar

I’d use the Half Wild paint pot for some super-dramatic eyes. I’ve got a bellydance performance final coming up in class, and that’s JUST the color to go with my (if I do say) fabulous costume.

fks Avatar

Hmm… paint pots are my favourite, so it would be a tough choice. But since I love golds (in all tints and tones) the best, I would have to start with MAC genuine treasure paint pot first. It would be layered with Inglot AMC pure pigment no. 69 (a dusty champagne gold) in the inner eye and MAC “gilt by association” mineralize e/s in the outer, to create a smokey eyed look. With black eyeliner on the upper lid, a line of gold on the lower and a touch of pale gold liner in the inner cornors, I get the perfect look for my deep-set, dark eyes. For the day, MAC’s “passion preserved” pro-longwear completes the look, while for the night, a bright red to complement my skin tone is all that is needed. Thanks for hosting the giveaway, Christine.

Marthe Avatar

I would use half wild paint pot. I always like to wear purple eyeshadows but never get them as bright as I want them to. I’m hoping that this paintpot will solve my dilemma! Since i have green eyes & red hair I love purple on my eyes.

Suma Avatar

I would love to use Genuine Treasure first… and top it of with some light golden glitter and black kohl on the waterline and tightline! i would be ready for any Indian wedding function then 🙂 The shade looks just soooo PRETTY!!!!! 😀

Line S Avatar

I would use Nubile paint pot over the lid with a wash of a matte brown in the crease, like MAC cork or espresso. Easy peasy in the morning and a look I can pull off in my strict job..

Emilee Avatar

They’re all so gorgeous, I don’t know how to pick which one I would use first! But I would probably use Nubile first as it looks like the perfect base color for my skin tone. 🙂

sonia Avatar

I’d use nubile its a nice nude. I can use this with many other colour.I love painterly for e/s base & nubile look same other colour look great aswell & I can’t wait 2 try them.

Aamirah Avatar

I would use the Genuine treasure paintpot with my Urban Decay naked palette and perhaps some reflects gold mac pigment
Thanks for this giveaway Christine! xx

Pappetee Avatar

I love purple smoky eyes! I would use the MAC Half-Wild first as eye shadow base and apply it using my 242 shader brush. Next, I would damp my 239 brush with drops of MAC H20 based mixing medium and dip it in my Violet pigment to intensify the purple tone on my lid. Then I would add a touch of MAC Purple Haze Eyeshadow in the crease and outer v and just blend it out smoothly by using my 217 brush. For added drama, I would wing-line my upper lid (about midway of the eyes) with Black track fluidline, use my Smolder eye kohl for the waterline of my lower lid and for the finishing touch, curl my eyelashes and apply my Zoom Lash Mascara in High Esteem. 🙂

Bridget Avatar

Without Temptalia, I’d be so lost on MAC updates! I made friends with the girls at my Nordstrom counter all beacause of Christine and now I get insider tips and freebies!

Karrie Avatar

I would use either MAC Half-Wild Paint Pot first as an eyeliner on my bottom line to make the browns in my eyes pop or Genuine Treasure as an all over lid colour! 🙂

dallasbrowneyes Avatar

I LOVE me some paint pots!!! I would start with Genuine Treasure as my base, but would have great fun playing with the others to incorporate them into different looks. Thanks for the contest!

Jesse Avatar

I would use the MAC Half-Wild Paint Pot first. I would use it as my base and then apply MAC e/s beauty marked on my eyelid and then MAC e/s black tied.

Heather Avatar

I would use the Nubile paint pot with MAC Grain on the eyelid and MAC Cork in the crease. I would line my eyes using the MAC felt-tip liner in black and finish with some black mascara.

Rhea Avatar

I would use “Pure Creation” PP firstly, as a base underneath this ‘I Dream of Jeannie’ Inspired Look I’ve been itching to create!!! Hope I win! Good Luck to all the entrants!!! Peace * Blessings, R

Margot Avatar

I think I would use Nubile first as right now I’m really into simple, fresh looks. So just nubile over the lid, some mascara, a peachy-pink blush and a natural, pinky peach lip. Natural and fresh!

mariah Avatar

i would use nubile becuase thats the color i was most excited about becuase it would work great at a base and could maybe used for a little flush on the cheeks or lips , it’s the perfect pinky nud base i loove it ! <3

Liz Avatar

Definitely would use Half-wild first, and use shadowy lady, vibrant grape, and loads of black eyeliner to create a look similar to the purple look in the haute and naughty mascara promo ads ^_^

Nastya Avatar

I would like to use MAC Nubile Paint Pot first cause it has beautiful rose/pichy/orange color in it – very unusual!
First time I would try to wear it alone, but next time I’d try to add some red/jrange eyeshadows on it)

dee Avatar

I’d use pure creation as a base on my lid and undereye. I’d place deep truth on the lid, and smoke it out lightly. I’d put a silver in the inner corner and line the waterline with a silver. I’d highlight my brow with arena and build my lashes up.

Krystal Avatar

I would like to have the nubile paint pot most! and the genuine treasure looks really interesting!!! 🙂 half wild also looks amazing! the ladies at the MAC counter tryed that on me with stars n rockets over the top and it was quite gorgeous! 😀

Celine Avatar

i would use mac genuine treasure paint pot all over the lid teamed up with intense black smudged out eyeliner around the lash line and a good few coats of mascara! x

Isabela Avatar

I would definately start with Pure Creation, it looks so pretty and bright!!
I would put it all over the lid, and then I would wear All That Glitters on the inner corner, Freshwater on the outer half and Wedge in the crease… not sure if it would look good, but I would try to work it!!

Heather Keimig Avatar

I would use Posh Paradise Genuine Treasure as a Base (after applying UDPP) and then top it with a bronzy brown like Dark Horse by UD to make a shimmery bronzy fall look.

Linds Avatar

As boring as it sounds, Nubile Paint Pot is the main one on my list! The other three would be extra awesome extras! So excited about these paint pots!

Hannah Avatar

Genuine Treasure layered with satin taupe. Hopefully the two colors would bring out each other. I could see them being used for a simple smokey eye then brought into the crease for a more dramatic look.

Jess Avatar

I would use the Genuine Treasure to give gold eyeshadow an antique feel. I’d use it as a liner and in the outer corner to give my eye depth and it would look super steampunk and pretty!

Amber D Avatar

I LOVE Pure Creation! I’m a huge blue eye product fan. I own every blue MAC eye shadow in the permanent line and a crap load of the LE ones as well. But, anyways Pure Creation for sure!

Raisa Avatar

I would use the ‘Half-Wild’ as the inner lid colour with chocolate brown pigment in the crease and a matte brown smokey eye for a Jasmine princess look!

Bailey Avatar

ahhhh! nubile! such a wearable shade, yet so pretty, will totes wear it everyday, and half wild will look beautiful with my green/hazel eyes:) i really hope i win! thank you christine for this opportunity!

Chelsea Avatar

I would use Genuine Treasure all over the lid with some black eyeliner, and then use Pure Creation as a liner on the outer half of my lower lashline.

Amy Avatar

I’d use Half Wild paint pot first because it’s such a gorgeous purple ! I’d use a bright purple shade from one of my wet n’ wild palettes on top with a darker berry shade in the crease. I don’t have any purple bases and I love this colour.

Abbey Avatar

I think I’d try out Nubile first, as a base for neutrals. Maybe some dark brown in the crease, or a shimmery medium beige. They’re all gorgeous though!

Lauren Avatar

I would use the nubile paint pot first, as an allover neutral eyelid color in a simple look with just mascara and a little bit of eyeliner. I chose that one because I’ve heard great things about using the skin-tone paint pots as a base or allover wash, but never tried it!

megumi Avatar

I’d go for Genuine Treasure. I find it so useful for fall makeup looks, either smokey or neutral or even bright eye color. Its also a universal color to match with your lip colors like burgundy and bright or everyday lip color.

Ramona Avatar

I would use Nubile first, 1: because I don’t have any paint pots and I would want to try the most neutral one first, 2: because I love how it looks. I would use it on my eyelids.

Taime Avatar

I’d use Half-Wild as a base using my 217. Then I’d apply a cranberry colored shimmery shadow over that. I would use something like MUFE #92 and Inglot #494 to blend out the crease to brow bone, Ben Nye’s Toast as a highlight, matte black gel eyeliner to upper lash line and lower water line. For lower lash line I’d use a creamy black eyeliner and smudge it out with my 219 and Inglot #494. I would put a light shimmery purple on the inner tear duct area. Mascara, possibly false lashes. (I might do this as a look tomorrow anyways lol)

Marissa B Avatar

Pure Creation or Genuine Treasure, maybe both with Pure Creation as my base on my lid, layer some Melon pigment in the inner corner of my eye, blend Carbon in the crease, Deep Truth over the lid, and finish with a Genuine Treasure blended over the brow bone to the crease. Though, who knows – these colors and textures inspire so serious creativity!

Jeanette Avatar

I am a sucker for anything taupe so I would use Genuine Treasure first with Smoke & Diamonds over the entire lid and Hocus Pocus in the crease. 🙂 As eye liner I would use Petrol Blue pearlglide intense eye liner. 🙂

Ingrid Avatar

i am dying to try Nubile because I think it would be a perfect addition to my makeup bag – I would pop it all over my lid and then add a little eyeshadow to the outer corner for depth 🙂

Sarah S Avatar

I would use Genuine Treasure Paint Pot all over my lid and go in with Mac Carbon Eye Shadow in my crease and outer corner. I love smokey eyes, gold smokey eye’s are so pretty this season! x

Lissette Avatar

I would wear first Genuine Treasure. I would use it all over my lid, then in my crease I would wear a soft brown color like UD’s Buck and I will finish with some dark brown liner and mascara.

Kristin Avatar

with my pale/peachy skintone, I’d use nubile all over, with half-wild blended with hyperviolet (which I bought last Thursday!) Although pure creation with hyperviolet would also make a fab night out look… decisions decisions!

yvonne Avatar

I would use Genuine Treasure as a base and layer it with naked pigment to give it a barely there shimmer… and I would use satin taupe in the crease just to give it a bit of definition.

Alicia Avatar

I love MAC Genuine Treasure, its a beautiful colour, id’ wear it with lots of mascara and fake lashes and a nude lipstick like creme d’ nude.
thank you for this giveaway!

Lina Avatar

I would take the Pure Creation paint pot and put it all over the lid. Smoke it out using Nehru eye shadow and drag a bit of Black Track along the lash line to thicken the lash line and then lots and lots of mascara.

Mariah Avatar

I would have to use genuine treasure in the crease and have Manila paper from the valiant wonderwoman palette. And put a bit of Diana undercover in the outer v. I would definitely wear this as a going out look since its so dramatic. And use olive or black eyeliner in waterlines. And black mascara.

I’m also torn with pure creation for using as a first look. I would pair it with sin from UD naked palette. Have pure creations in crease. And use black eyeliner and mascara.

ari Avatar

The first paint pot I would use is is the Genuine Treasure paint pot because its the one that I would feel most comfortable using color wise and it looks like such a beautiful shade!

Anita Zilis Avatar

I would try Half-Wild first! I think I would apply with my finger to the entire lid and then line with Avenue fluid liner. I love doing the lid with a bright color. I would also line my waterline with Cle De Peau’s brown pot liner. Maybe a smudge of a shimmery neutral underneath the bottom lashes and Guerlain’s mascara. I have never tried the paint pots and would be super excited to win this!! Thanks so much for the opportunity!

Anca Buzea Avatar

I love Paint Pots, would be great to have the chance to try these out! 🙂 I read your blog and follow you on YouTube, your reviews are a reference to me! Great job with everything, Christine! 🙂 hugs!

Ron Avatar

I would use nubile first. In the last six months I’ve really fallen in love with makeup. A big reason is your sight and all the pretty colors. Being a guy I tend to use more neutral colors in the day and more out there colors for fun and occasions. As for how id use nubile id love to try it as a wash over the lid and maybe pairing it simply with naked lunch.

Molly Avatar

I’d definitely use Half wild! The color is amazing! I’m always looking for a purple eyeliner that’s just the right mixture of dark and bright, and this one is amazing! Thank you very much for the giveaway!

Elizabeth Avatar

I’d love the chance to try these, I don’t own many MAC products due to being a poor university student/the lack of a relatively close store. Genuine Treasure is so pretty!

valerie Avatar

I would use Genuine Treasure first as a base for Reflects Gold Pigment as a lid color blended with Mac Carbon E/S in the outer V..and Mac Ricepaper E/S as a highlight.

Sara Smith Avatar

I would use Genuine Treasure first for a smokey eye! I would use it ont he lid and under the lower lash line. I think this color would look amazing with brown eyes and give a smokey eye some OMPH! These are all so beautiful! ♥

Ásdís Birna Gylfadótttir Avatar

I would use the MAC Nubile Paint Pot first because it would be a really beautiful and good base and then i would add the MAC Genuine Treasure Paint in the outer corners and make a little smokey eye 🙂

Olivia Avatar

I would lay some over ud primer and then set it with some ud eyeshadow to intensify the look. Black mascara and full set of eyelashes bam. instant sexyness:D

Rachel Avatar

I would like Genuine Treasure, but you said that wasn’t as pigmented as the others so I would say Pure Creation as a base for a navy blue smokey eye 😀 Thanks for the giveaway Kristine!! ;P x

Violet Avatar

Chances are I’d use Half-Wild first, as a base for Sugarpill’s Afterparty. I know it sounds wrong, since Afterparty is blue, but I’ve found that it’s the type of shade that looks awesome and so different depending on the base! Think of the possibilities with the Paint Pots and this colour! 😀

Mahnaz Jansson Avatar

I would use Half-wild paint pot on the lid 3/4 from the inside to right over the middle. Then I would use mac black tied along the lash line and the outer v. Then I would add mac electra on the inner corners for pop. I would use either a glittered liquid eyeliner on the lash line or an intense glittered kohl liner on the lash line.

I would definitely use the Nubile paint pot first! I’d put it all over my lid and then blend a little bit of Urban Decay Smog eyeshadow on the outer edge of the lid, with a little bit of UD Buck and UD Naked eyeshadows blended into the crease and UD Virgin eyeshadow to highlight my brow bone. I’d put some more UD Virgin eyeshadow in the inner corner of my eye and some UD Rockstar eyeliner on the bottom lash line, and finish off with Covergirl Lashblast Volume Blasting mascara. I’d use MAC Blankety lipstick with some Victoria’s Secret Beauty Rush lipgloss in Sugar Rush, and a little bit of Clinique Cupid blush on the apples of my cheeks.

If I had any of the four, I would most definitely use ‘Nubile’ first as a base (or on a busy morning, a little hint of color to liven up my eyes!) and highlight my brown eyes by smudging ‘Half Wild’ on my top and lower lash lines, for an extra pop behind my glasses! It would help frame my face and bring out the rich color of my eyes from behind my lenses.

I’ve always been ahead of the game when it comes to makeup. I love thinking of and planning the looks that I will wear way before its time to do so. So, if I was lucky enough to win this fantastic prize, I would use genuine treasure paint pot first as a base for some golden and copper toned eyeshadows to create my look for thanksgiving (October 10 here in Canada! :)) I’m thinking Amber Lights and Mythical eyeshadows from mac to wear over it! Yay!

I love the Nubile paint pot & would use it all over my lid. I’d pair it up with Junkshow from the 15th Anniversary UD palette in the crease. Then I’d use some teal eyeliner (Too Faced is my favorite at the moment). Sounds wacky – but I love the peach, hot pink, teal combo!

I would pair Genuine Treasure with colors in my UD Naked palette for a pretty yet shimmery neutral eye! All of the paint pot colors are gorgeous though!

I’m really looking forward these new paint pots. I have one in Bare Study and, even though I dod not think it looked this light in the store, really love it. They never seem to run out 🙂 I really love how they stay put all day and am so so happy they finally added, even if only for a limited time, some colors to their range 🙂

I would use half-wild first. I would use it as a base on my lid and play with layering shadows over it, and then I would use it to line my lower lashline!

The first paint pot that I would use would be the Pure Creation Paint Pot! It’s such a beautiful shimmering shade of blue and it would be absolutely perfect for my peacock costume for Halloween! I’m drooling over how beautiful the shade is….LOL

I would use Nubile first as a base to my eyelids. Boring, I know 😉 But I love versatile products and colours. It would be great to find out where else and what else I can use it for.
