What brand has the most unique products?
I think OCC still puts out more interesting and complex lip colors.
Fyrinnae does the same when it comes to eyeshadows.

Unique??? I’d say MAC, Urban Decay or Guerlain (odd mix, I know). MAC because they seem to have “invented” some of the products we now take for granted, like Prep+Prime; UD because I can remember a time BEFORE UDPP – that seems to me to be one of the first eyeshadow primers that’s a product that changed my life – and also things like their All Nighter Setting Spray and the whole idea of a NAKED palette which every other company has copied over and over and Guerlain because of their Meteorites “balls”…..I mean, THAT is unique!
Going on the brands I’m familiar with, I have to give it to Kat Von D. I think part of what makes her products unique is the packaging and names.
In the past, Armani has been in the forefront of some creative products: Liquid sheers, liquid lipsticks, eyes-to-kill loose shadows, and eye shadow wands come to mind. OCC has excelled in a lot of cream products.
Most innovative I guess: Urban decay for their OG naked palettes
Hourglass for their ambient lighting powders
Armani for their liquid lips
For shades, it’s quite a few “indie” brands who are pushing creative limits! Especially ones like Fyrinae, Sugarpill and Dose of Colors.
For packaging and shade names; definitely KVD! Also, her very interesting, unique and beautifully applying matte eyeshadow shades of last year.
And definitely the “new Kid on the block”; Fenty Beauty, has hit the ground running by giving us 40 foundation shades, the Matchstix concept, and that super unique chemistry shape of packaging, plus they are magnetized!
*Cover FX: For example, their much-imitated Custom Drops lines for customing your makeup; their makeup for different skin types; their selection of shades for fair skin.
*Besame for its vintage makeup replicas.
*ColourPop for its Super Shock formula.
*Colors and finishes; fragrances — Indie brands.
*Packaging — Kat von D; Lunatick Cosmetics Labs; Besame; Urban Decay; Fenty
ColourPop for their super shock shadow formula which is still one of the better on the market. I also like several Indie brands, Nabla and Fyrinnae come to mind. I think Korean brands give us very innovative products in skin care.
Milk Makeup has been really innovative for such a new brand
I’m going to go with (this might be a surprise) YSL. The Glossy Stains were, in my opinion, a HUGE innovation, and they appeared at a moment when glosses (like Juicy Tubes) were kind of off-trend, liquid lipsticks were coming back in (but with glossier/shinier finishes than the current matte trend), and Asian products, particularly lip tints, were becoming popular. I hope YSL continues to innovate in lip products – I still totally adore the Glossy Stains, and I haven’t seen them replicated adequately in the Western market (there were some Korean products that came close, but I don’t think they’re around anymore). The Touche Eclat pens ushered in this trend of color-correcting concealing pens, but people still love the TEs.
