I like light airy scents, so my go-to has been Bath And Body Works’ Carried Away. Smells like clean clothes and reasperries!
Thierry Mugler Alien! Also any vanilla and spice perfumes.
shalimar- guerlain
Leaves from Bath and Body Works
Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and Black Orchid
I should give you my Black Orchid tester. I used it once and hated it. Its sitting on my vanity unused and unloved.
If she doesn’t, I’ll take it! LOL 😛
My favourite for last winter was Eau d’Iparie by l’Occitane. It smells of incense and churches but in a sexy way. If you like flowery, fruity and sweet things give it a miss. This is the complete opposite. It’s probably what the evil Queen from Snow White would smell of – or a bad Vampire;-)
Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Extreme, Agent Provocateur EdP and Chanel N5 Eau Premiere
MARC JACOBS “BANG” FOR BOYS.
I love Burberry Body at the moment and Melvita Eau de Toilette Jasmin & Bergamotte
I really love Burberry London for fall…brings me a sense of warmth that is very comforting.
Vera Wang Princess and Rock Princess also Armani Code
just bought love struck by Vera Wang n also loving lamb by Gwen Stefani
Guerlain Shalimar and Chanel Coromandel (boutique exclusive) are my favorites for fall! I also tried Tom Ford’s Santal Blush recently. It was a very unique and captivating scent. I might have to get that one too.
One of my fall fragrances that I alway get compliments on is actually a cheap thrill. It’s the JLO Still, I find it very unique and I love it because it smells like a cup of tea. I have more expensive and refined scents, but I always come back to this one.
Also, I want to share with everyone that I went on on a perfume buying craze a couple years ago, ended up with me getting my collection over 70 designer bottles. I’ve been on a no-buy plan for a year and a half and have got my collection down to 45 or so. For ever 10 that I use up or give away I reward myself by buying just one new one. Is anyone else on a no buy? It’s hard to resist when there are so many new releases every month. That new Cartier is teasing me… 😛
Oh those pesky no-buys. We could get you closer to the Cartier, think you’ll find lots of temptalia readers willing to take excess perfumes off your hands! 😛
I’m as old-school as they come….I love pumpkin, especially if it’s got an edge of sweet spice, and I often wear your typical autumnal blend but I also enjoy smokier pure oils. I am also mad for anything that has a lot of apple to it, particularly if it’s a fresh-apple oil and not a synthetic or sugary candy-apple. Blend any of this with musk, dragon’s-blood or amber and I’m swooning. 😀
Autumn is when I start to wear perfumes in the woody family. By November, I’m moving into spicy and gourmand scents like Angel and Sensuous. I think woody/oriental fragrances are sexier than any other perfume category! (It’s the only thing I look forward to when the temperatures drop.)
I just wear what feels good year round. This Fall – Tom Ford Black Orchid, Bond. 9 West Side Story, Queen Latifa and Halle Berry-their first fragrances.
I wear Narciso Rodriguez For Her year-round, but this fall I’m switching to Narciso Rodriguez For Her Intense, just a little more musky than the other!
Hanae Mori and Jivago 24kt! Can’t wear these in the summer but totally great for cooler months.
I could pretty much roll around in Hypnotic Poison. Also love a good spicy/vanilla fragrance come autumn.
Another Hypnotic Poison-fan here! The first time I wore it was on my wedding day (in winter) and now every time I wear it, it reminds me of that day <3
Pumpkin! I have soooo many pumpkin perfume blends. It’s ridiculous.
YSL Belle D’Opium for day and Tom Ford Black Orchid for evening!
TF Amber Absolute and Tuscan Leather all the way!
Generally speaking, I stick to Coco Mademoiselle all year round. Maybe when I run out, I’ll get something new… been eyeing Burberry London!
My favorite perfume of all time, Burberry Brit! This past summer I was trying to get through some of my lighter fragrances, but now that it’s getting cooler, I’m going to be giving Brit my undivided attention.
Kenzo Amour Indian Holi, Burberry London, Victor & Rolf Flowerbomb, Armani Code, Dior Pure Poison 🙂
i actually like jessica simpson’s fancey- the original….i know alot of ppl don’t like it but i don’t know why! it spells so sweet and good! perfect for the hollidays! 🙂
NOA.
I enjoy Hermes Eau de Mereveilles all year round but lately I’ve been loving LUSH Vanillary. Donna Karan Black Cashmere is a cold weather favorite, so spicey!
I seem to gravitate towards vanilla scents. I’m really liking Benefit’s So Hooked on Carmella.
j’adore dior and this elizabeth arden scent which I’m not sure what’s called but it smells really nice 🙂
Burberry Brit and Chloe are my new obsessions right now. Brit’s warm vanilla scent is so comforting when the weather turns cooler. Chloe is so ladylike and quiet, it reminds me of the overcast, drizzly days that autumn brings.
Marc Jacobs Oh Lola!
L’Instant Guerlain
Coco Mademoiselle
Love Chloé
Hands Down, Dior Hypnotic Poison!!
CH by Carolina Herrera
Nina by Nina Ricci
Lady Million by Paco Rabbane
My favorite this fall is Kilian Back to Black. I have to say it was not love at first sight, but like a movie that starts slow but slowly draws you in, it left me wanting more every single time. I’ll be switching between that and my usual Issey Miyake Le Feu D’Issey Light.
Weekends with family I’ll go for Payard Pistachio Ganache (a new acquisition!) If you like gourmand scent this one is non-aggressive, and very fitting since it is issued by a patisseries…
