Looks - Bobbi Brown Metallic Eye Shadows At Work

I am going to try my best to start posting looks more often! I can’t guarantee tons of off-the-wall looks, but I’ll try to at least get more up 🙂

You will need the following…

  • Eyes: Urban Decay Primer Potion (base), Bobbi Brown Glitz Metallic Eye Shadow (pale gold), Bobbi Brown Holiday ’08 Lip & Eye Palette (Gold Dust, Champagne, Golden Bronze), Urban Decay Bourbon 24/7 Liner, Lancome Oscillation mascara (black)
  • Cheeks: Bobbi Brown Copper Diamond Shimmer Brick (soft gold)
  • Lips: MAC Wild ‘Bout You lipstick (deep berry), MAC Lightswitch 3D Glass (opalescent pink)
  • Brushes: 266 (firm, angled brush), 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 129 (dense blush brush)
  • Substitutes: Wild ‘Bout You = Rebel; Lightswitch = Luminary

Directions: Define brows using a coordinating powder shadow applied with the 266 brush. Apply Urban Decay Primer Potion all over the lid as the base with the 249. On the inner third of the lid, apply Glitz eyeshadow using the 239 brush. Apply Champagne eyeshadow to the middle of the lid. Overlay the outer lid with Gold Dust eyeshadow, then darken the outer crease Golden Bronze using the 239. Sweep Champagne underneath the brow bone to highlight. Finish with Urban Decay Bourbon 24/7 Liner on lower lash line, and Lancome mascara on lashes. Sweep apples of cheeks with Copper Diamond shimmer brick using the 129. Apply Wild ‘Bout You lipstick to lips, and then top with Luminary lustreglass for color and shine.

I really like the style, especially the lipgloss. Personally I wouldn’t have applied shimmer to my cheeks, it’s a bit too much. But the eyes and the lips are perfectly for an everyday look 🙂

same for me…i dont know what’s happening…as for the look, u know i always love ur looks hon, this one seemed shimmery as heck to me but i love the neutrals and the bold berry pink lips! oooh i finally got my beiges de chanel quad 🙂 love it..u were right, the colours blend seamlessly and effortlessly! I thought the beige wud be whiter on me, i think i might exchange it for a whiter looking matte…but i’ll try it out first!

unfortunately my pocket is not doing so good. so ill have to ask for an early christmas gift lol.

Can you tell me MAC dupes for the colors you used? Regardless if the finish is correct. It looks so natural and beautiful.

Ooh la la! What a great neutral eye, now you’re making me lem for the BB palette when I have sweared off BB! And the lips, I think I need to go to the counter to swatch the lipstick again…the lipglass gives a very Dazzleglass-like effect!

Oh because their eye cream, famous concealer etc didn’t work for me. And they’re pretty expensive! And so far I didn’t like most of the products I tried from them. That was about a year ago, maybe its time to go nose around the BB counter…

The eyes may be subtle and look monotone but you look like you belong in a BB ad! Seriously, the skin, the smile, those striking lips paired with those soft eyes – I was stunned by how everything was put together so well. What a very pretty fotd. 🙂

PS: I think the shimmer is just nice for that added glow!
