Haul: Tarte rainforest of the sea foundation in Porcelain, Klorane oat milk dry shampoo.
Weekend plans: Putting the finishing touches on the half bath and starting on the guest bedroom & bathroom. Luckily everything here is nice/newer, so it’s not like at the old house where we had to replace floors and fix poorly done plumbing, it’s just nit-picky cosmetic stuff like painting and replacing cheap ugly towel bars.
Indoors or outdoors: Outdoors!
Haul: The Lila palette (used it the morning!) and one of the Fenty highlighters…the fire crystal one that was just reviewed.
Weekend plans: Making a pie tonight, actually going to a sculpture park tomorrow and possibly dancing tomorrow night (my one friend is really about it).
Indoors or outdoors?: I like walks, but other than that I prefer indoor times. This paper skin burns really easily/I use a lot of spf everyday…
HAUL: MAC 217 brush. Great brush! I definitely didn’t have any brushes that could blend the crease but also do lid work. It’s perfect for workday looks, just need one brush.
Haul: (a few of these I might have mentioned 2 weeks ago – I’m not sure and as we were away last week, I missed last Friday’s Free for Haul which just confuses me further) Dior Rosy Glow Awakening Blush, Aveda Kinetics Liquid Exfoliator, Kiehl’s Hand Salve, a new tube of MAC Craving lipstick, Sephora Make No Mistake concealer and a points perk tube (pretty decent size, too) of Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask. I wanted to get Dior’s Feel 5-pan shadow but it wasn’t carried at the Shopper’s in the Rideau Centre so I’ll have to pick it up at The Bay here at home.
Weekend plans: Gym (if this massive blister on my toe permits), maybe going to pick up the Dior shadow, generally taking it easy (both my sons are at home and the younger is at Hack the North for the weekend so the maternal demands will be somewhat less).
Indoors or outdoors: so much depends on the weather. If it’s nice (not too hot or humid), I love being outside either by the lake or walking the Bruce Trail – what I do would hardly qualify as “hiking”. But if it’s excruciatingly hot or cold and blizzardy, give me a climate controlled environment, please.
Haul: Soo much….. On a no-buy until some of the Sephora sets, I can purchase comes into stock in Canada.

Indoors or outdoors? I am literally a fairweather fan of being outdoors, lol! I love day hikes, but I refuse to go “camping” unless it’s in a cabin. I love some fresh air and sunshine, though

Weekend: Man, it’s been another rough week. I can’t even. I’m off to get my car looked at after work and go blow up a Comcast store, then shopping on Saturday, company on Saturday, and more f*ckery with Comcast on Sunday.
indoor/outdoor: I love both! I’m more indoors usually though as the sun is not my friend.
I call Comcast Evil Empire 3, despite not knowing what 1 and 2 are. Also will have to deal with them soon. My tv pic is, shit, I can’t explain it, so how do I tell them? I need some tech talk, here. The pic is too big and heads/writing get cut off. And prob have to get a new computer… threw the old one away. Upstairs again, which means a tech visit. Comcast NBC Universal, isn’t that it? Them? They only own everything, and now they’re doing mobile. They are like a Big Brother (1984.). Good luck. I’d love to know if you have any success in finding a Fenty foundation shade. Predict it will be a no go. Prob for Genevieve, Alice, too. 2 cool shades read straight up yellow on me, and I think I’m nowhere as cool/pink as you guys.

Indoors or outdoors?: Inside kid for life. I camp or go to a cabin about two or three times a year and I never go to the park or beach to play or tan. I like walking around cities, I guess that’s an outside thing. lol
How are you liking the Fenty Beauty gloss? I swatched it at the store but was undecided.
I actually haven’t gotten to wear it since I tried it on in store because they were sold out and I bought online. lol BUT when I wore it I really loved how comfortable and hydrating it was. I’m not usually a gloss person at all, but my it was pretty and my lips felt like they’d had a hydrating treatment on. I’ll report back if there are any issues, but I really predict it being a good product for frequent use in casual looks.

Haul: Sephora Skin Wonderland box, KVD Televator Glimmer, got a Glamglow mask as a point perk, and my Ipsy bag and ColourPop order both arrived the other day (along with another cat t-shirt!)
Weekend plans: Just finish up my mani/pedi I began yesterday, go to my meeting on Sunday, and go up to Sephora later today for the Fenty lip gloss, because it is absolutely *perfect*. I have a cart at MAC with 2 of the lip products from the Nicki Minaj collection in it, but MAC has done something very odd with this one by only sending promo samples to a super limited number of influencers that I mostly never even heard of? Well, except for possibly one? Really weird that they haven’t sent them to any of the big blogs or YT’s!
Outdoors or Indoors?: If I had a vehicle to get to nicer spots, I would without question be an outdoors person! I was when we lived in NJ. Loved going down to the shore, out to the lakes for cookouts and swimming, apple picking in autumn, strawberry picking in late spring, nice walks in the woods or along the beach. Here, I’m a cooped up prisoner of my home most of the time, due to certain constrictions.
Haul: used GAPcash and bought 4 pairs of jeans ($95…not bad). A pair of Beavis & Butthead (huh-huh) Doc Martens (yes!!). A pair of Skechers Street tennies in leopard print (or was that last week….could be last week, everything is delayed right now). Didn’t order any makeup this week because 1) Sephora is trying to give me 3-5 days “free ground!” shipping even though I’m a Rouge (maybe it’s because I’m in Florida) and 2) I still haven’t received the makeup I ordered a week ago. (UPS claims to have delivered two boxes last night, I’ve called them twice today and STILL haven’t gotten a @$%^Y%$^@$#^#$% call back. I’d REALLY like my effing surgical garment and all the lip balm and lip gloss which has probably melted all over the inside of the box).
Weekend plans: Going to see my family!!! I haven’t seen them in a month because of recovery and the hurricane.
Indoors or outdoors?: It depends. When I’m not in Florida I like being outdoors. When I’m in Florida I’m like an angry agoraphobic vampire. 😉
I am now Rouge at Sephora, and got Free Flash shipping.. I don’t know how I got there this year I’ve only gotten a few things from them.. But not going to complain. I prefer Ulta and have been Platinum for at least 2 years. Don’t think I will get there this year unless some windfall happens.
Purchased RollerLash, because I needed mascara and Ulta had that in their 21 Days of Beauty. Purchased a Travel size of Cinema Secrets at Sephora because it was on sale and at the time of the order a sample of Roses De Chloe was there, Showed on my order confirmation, but when it shipped, the samples were not what I chose. Guess the change happened before they shipped it. ); Really bummed I really wanted at least the perfume sample. I had received a sample of Chloe in an Ulta order and loved it, Wanted to sample the Roses De Chloe.

Beavis and Butthead Docs? How fun! I’m a huge Doc Martens fan. I still own my first pair from decades ago, and I have bought many more pairs since then. They’ll never go out of style, as far as I’m concerned.
Haul: My Fenty Haul: Foundation in 450, MatchStix in Espresso, Hightlighter duo in Moscow Mule/Ginger Binge and Trophy Wife turned into a return of everything but the foundation (highlighters are too glittery for me and match stix is dry besides my black opal in mocha suede is BOMB!) so with those being returned I picked up my fourth NARS Powermatte in Starwoman, a new Boscia Konjac Cleansing Sponge, ABH tinted brow gel and wanted to try new skin care so picked up the Farmacy Skin Savior Kit.
•Weekend plans: Well last Friday I had a ruptured ovarian cyst wake me up in the morning leading to TWO ER visits Saturday and Sunday. I was bedridden Monday & Tuesday in what felt like labor pains but with no baby coming out. Attempted to go to work Wed ( could barely walk came mid day so left early in pain) took Thursday off and stayed in bed, at work today but still in discomfort so hoping I can be done with this crap and enjoy this beautiful weekend. I have plans to take my son to see IT tomorrow.
•Indoors or outdoors?: I like them both equally. I enjoy the time I spend inside and outside. I am a nature girl, I love the woods or hikes, or anywhere I can just sit in grass or try to climb a tree like a kid.

Mo, My daughter has ovarian cysts and they are no joke when they rupture! Hope you are feeling better?
Tammy, do they rupture a lot for her? I read its common on menstrual cycles but I had a hysterectomy and kept my ovaries which is why it happened to me but I’m afraid of this being a more than once issue.
My daughter has 3-6 ruptures a year but she has polycystic ovarian syndrome and endometriosis, so her situation differs from yours. She is getting ready for her 5th procedure to remove pre-cancer cells. She needs a hysterectomy but is holding out as long as possible to consider attempting another pregnancy.
Momerrell, I’m so sorry. My best friend used to get the ruptured cysts (she ended up getting ovariectomies). The condition sounds incredibly painful.

Haul: Sephora — Tarte Blush Bazaar Palette. This one is probably going to turn into my go-to travel blush palette. It has every shade I could want, and two highlighters. Perfect! BH Cosmetics — Solar Flare Palette, (free) Midnight Affair 16 Color Palette. Nordstrom ($10 off reward) — Urban Decay Lip Topper in White Lie. Various samples, including Elizabeth & James Nirvana Amethyst and Nirvana Gray, which I cannot wait to try out. Also hauled some clothes, jewelry, and accessories.
Weekend plans: Nothing special planned.
Indoors or outdoors?: I love both. It depends on my mood, my allergies, and the weather.
I saw that Tarte holiday palette and thought, oooh I bet Rachel will like that! They have a great mix of colors this year

You know me well by now, Katherine! 🙂 I’m a sucker for the Tarte blushes. I’ve taken the Pin-Up Girl Palette traveling since I bought that one.
I really like the new format of having smaller blushes in more shades and adding the highlighters, so I don’t have to pack a separate highlighter. My hubby is planning a two-week trip to Australia for us next year, and I think this new palette will be perfect for a longer vacation.
Haul: Lorac LA Experience Venice Beach palette! The collection is 50% off at Ulta right now and I had $3 in points to use… $9 is a much fairer price. I also don’t have anything like those four shadows! They just swatched so beautifully, can’t wait to wear them tomorrow.
Weekend plans: Making potato soup and playing Rock Band 2.

Haul:
Sephora: Give Me Some Nude Lip kit from Sephora, the one with the Ciate London liquid lipstick in it-really enjoying the whole kit, except for the Kat Von D liquid lipstick in Ludwig. I’ve never tried that formula before and found it impossible to build, more than one layer and it got cakey in minutes. Now I’m wondering if it’s just that shade or if the whole line is like that.
Ulta: The Nars NARSissist Cheek Studio Palette that was half off at Ulta for platinum members. I got it yesterday and so far I’m really loving it. The lilac shade is the first light purple blush I’ve ever liked on myself, and today I did a Kimberly Clark-inspired gradient blush look with Goulue and the lilac blush that turned out really well. With that order I also got the Essence lip pencil in Silk Mauve and the EcoTools Full Powder Brush. I love the lipliner. Surprisingly I don’t have any other liners that are that mauve-y and it pairs perfectly with some of the shades from the nude lip kit, so I’ve already used it about five times in two days. The EcoTools Powder brush is by far the best powder brush I have ever tried. I could throw out every single powder brush I have, including my IT Cosmetics powder brush, and I would be happy.
ColourPop: I ordered four of the pressed eyeshadows in Get Out, Stay Golden, Checkmate and Team Captain (got a free four pan palette), Ultra Satin lips in Hutch, Dopey and 951, S’il Vous Play highlighter and a small empty palette. Ordered it over a week ago and it hasn’t shipped yet-the downside to ordering from ColourPop I guess. I’m excited though.
Weekend plans: I need to wash my car and do some around the house cleaning. Super fun, yay.
Indoors or outdoors?: Depends on the mosquito situation. No mosquitos=outdoors. One+ mosquito=indoors.

Haul: nada this week, due to my cold, which is getting much better. And we don’t have the same ‘holiday season’ kind of celebration here as you seem to have.
Weekend plans: Celebrating my eldest son’s birthday on the 15th, with the family. Saturday and Sunday are a bit of a mystery at the moment.
Indoor/Outdoor: Generally I am an indoor person – especially in summer and I am a great reader too. But having my grandchildren around makes me an outdoor person as they both love parks, visiting gardens and generally running around – so off I go.
By the way Christine, I hope that you and your husband enjoy some time off with his folks.

*Sephora -Fenty highlighter in Trophy Wife -OMG, this is the most OTT highlighter I’ve ever seen or owned! It’s a super strong yellow gold (think King Tut face mask), and a total glitter bomb, but I love it, it’s so bold like Rihanna! I think this will be nice to put on the face/body for holiday parties. Sample of Fenty Pro Filter Foundation in 210 – this is too dark and peachy for me, so I will need to swatch in store to get the right color, but the coverage is impressive, there is a light scent. CoverFX Custom Enhancer Drops set with deluxe mini bottles of Celestial, Halo, Moonlight, and Rose Gold. Can’t wait to play with these! I l already have a full size of Sunlight and a sample of Moonlight, love mixing these with my KVD foundation to tweak the color or to add glow. I wanted to try more colors without paying $ 42 for a full bottle, so this is perfect. Ciate Glitter Flip in Infamous –the color is a very pretty pinky red, but OMG, this is one of the most uncomfortable, drying liquid lipsticks I’ve ever used! My lips looked and felt like prunes, had to dot on lip balm after 3 mins. IDK, will test some more but this is probably a return, so sad. Free Tarte Bday set–the lipstick is tiny, but the blush is a really pretty color
*Ulta Beauty Steal 50% off Mally Evercolor Cream Shadow Stick in Pink Champagne-only swatched, but it’s kind of sheer, but might be ok as I was mainly planning to use as a base for pink shadows
*ColourPop -Pressed Highlighter in Ruffle My Feathers (very pretty but similar to the WNW Mermaid one) and Angel Food (dry and stiff, got bad batch), Face Sprays in Rose Quartz and Amethyst (the spray nozzle is awful! It’s like being soaked by a supersoaker, and I was holding it at arms length as instructed, and trying to spray as gently as possible), Brow Boss in Dark Brown (great color for me, beats paying $30 for a HE version), Lipbalm in Amethyst (it’s a pretty iridescent purply pink, but feels kind of stiff and dry, and the tube broke off when I tried to swatch it), Free Shadow in Party of Five ( love, pretty sparkly burgundy) and Free Ultra Glossy Lip in Nine to Five ( OMG, stunning, love! Very metallic, lots of fine gold pearl shimmer)

NM — Sanguine Addiction, Hellebore, “Stay Evil, Dollface”, Soothsayer, Creature of the Night, Desert Highway, Beast Inside, Light in the Dark (three of those are minis, but I’m going to go back and get Beast Inside in a full size … an amazing duochrome matte liquid lipstick!!!)
I also got some things from Aromaleigh: Nine eyeshadows, five highlighters (all minis), and one lipgloss (I blot them to take the gloss away and wear them more like satin lipsticks); I’m also going to get a free full-sized blush/highlighter because I suggested a subject and color for her “Goddess of the Month blush/highlighter” contest, and she used my suggestion and made a blush/highlighter from it (Kupala). So excited!
Last, I decided to try some skincare: May Coop Raw Sauce, Josie Maran Nirvana Hydrating Treatment Mist, IT Cosmetics Miracle Water, J. One Jelly Pack.
Weekend plans: Clean and organize? We’ll see.
Indoors or outdoors? The sad answer is: outdoors, but I rarely make it out there anymore (I work too many hours and am in the middle of a huge home remodel). I always feel better — more me — after spending a significant amount of time outdoors, but I’m too tired and too busy these days. I think it’s affecting my outlook, so I really need to fix this.

Indoors or outdoors: Both if the weather is right. Just went to outdoor concert at Ravinia in Chicago. It was 80 degrees at night. Beautiful night and no mosquitoes. I like outdoors in those conditions but if it’s extremely hot, super cold or rainy I’m not a big fan. I cannot stay indoors too much though. I get cabin fever too much. So I guess both can be good and both can be bad!
