I’m veering away from this 24-hour/long lasting/transfer proof lipstick. I like a little shine and don’t mind having to reapply. The liquid lipstick craze is getting so out of hand to me and it’s quite annoying actually. So many are ruining their old formulas (in my opinion) just to bring out something newer and longer lasting but looks like color chalk on the lips…lol, I want some depth. Anyways, this looks cute but her formulas have been super drying for me lately so it’s an easy pass.

Mo, I agree. There are only two that I can wear for any length of time, Huda Beauty and Colorpop Ultra Satin. The rest are just too drying for my lips. Besides, if we don’t keep reapplying how will we ever need to buy more ???

I agree. liquid lipsticks just make people’s lips look dusty and crusty. I don’t see anything wrong with re-applying. 🙂

I’m not as excited by these as I thought I would be. I wish the color range was a little more interesting — like we were teased with those gorgeous metallic green lips KvD was rocking, but I really think that was green eye shadow (maybe Iggy from the Metal Crush line) over a black lipstick.

I’ll still pick up one or two because I’m obsessed with metallic lips, but I’m not blown away by this launch.

Well, at least they’re going to be perm..or semi perm. I seem to have more interest in what they (cos) do than many of the actual products. This is such a fascinating industry.

Not too impressed with the color range here but maybe more to come.

The denim one looks ok..but $22 is a bit much for ok:) I would wanna see more swatches before dropping that on a lippie.

Also it does seem like it may be drying but idk.

I have Televator, Wizard, and Reverb. First of all they stain the heck out of your lips, you have to use them as a top coat, wear a primer, or deal with funky stained lips! I have a scar on my lip which really soaks in the pigment, so yeah a nice big blue freckle on my lip! And they are not waterproof! Licked my lips once and my tongue was super blue! If you don’t lick your lips, they stay put and wear well. I couldn’t feel the glitter like I could with the Ciate Glitter Flip…ooh those get chunky/gritty. The Glimmer Veils stay smooth and are highly pigmented. I tried them on bare lips, over a cream lipstick, over a KVD Everlasting Liquid Lipstick, and over a waterproof lip liner (both a Nyx one and a KVD one). I got the best coverage and shine over the Nyx liner and the cream lipstick (It was one of the old MUFE Rouge Artist ones) The liquid lippie underneath kind of dulled the metallic quality of it and for the KVD lip liners to be so bulletproof, the Glimmer Veil reduced the wear time on it and I couldn’t get a good coverage. It’s a great idea, but it’s not “Ah-may-zing” like I had hoped they would be! (Just my opinion, thanks!)
