Inglot Matte Eyeshadows in #329, 378, 326, 363, 358, 344 (Browns & Neutrals)

Inglot Matte Eyeshadow Palette #3

Inglot Matte Eyeshadows in #329, 378, 326, 363, 358 (Browns & Neutrals)

This next look at Inglot’s Matte Eyeshadows ($4.50 to $7.00 each for 0.09 oz.) is all about some neutrals–these were cooler browns and slightly odd shades that seemed to belong more to neutrals than a particular color.

  • 329 is a chocolate brown with a matte finish. It’s not warm, more of a neutral brown.
  • 378 is a dark, cool-toned brown with a hint of burgundy. It has a matte finish.
  • 326 is a dark, cool-toned brown with an even subtler hint of burgundy than #378. It also has a matte finish. Both #378 and #326 are extremely similar, and it is hard to distinguish which is which.
  • 363 is a taupe brown with a matte finish.
  • 358 is a subdued mauve-gray with a matte finish. This just seemed so neutral when I was arranging the palettes, but it swatches rather purple.
  • 344 is a pink-plum brown with a matte finish.  It’s totally the definition of a neutral, though – soft, natural.

Overall, these are true to Inglot’s matte formula and are easy to work with. I had a touch of sheerness with #378, but the other four had nice color payoffs and smooth applications.

Ooh, those last two are so pretty.
Christine, I have a question: How many business days after you placed your order with Inglot did you receive it?
I ask because I placed mine on the 17th, and according to the order status feature on the site, my order is “authorized.” I know that the terms are that shipping will take 5-10 business days after processing for my >$85 order, but “authorized” after a week sounds vague and slow (especially because I was never sent an email invoice, which I always expect with online orders).
(Am I imposing too much?? I am absolutely terrified of dealing with customer service, so….)

#344 alone was worth the click. I’m cataloging my collection this weekend in preparation for the Inglot buying push. I get a little OCD about collecting makeup, so having these swatched will give me an idea of how to approach collecting Inglot. Thanks, Christine!

Thank you so much for putting these reviews up! I first went to Inglot In April and couldn’t believe the prices for their eyeshadow! And the quality is so amazing! I’ll be hitting up Vegas In a few weeks so I’ll definitely be getting another palette. Thanks again for all these swatches!

I always have a chuckle when I see the price range here for Inglot eyeshadows.

The Inglot’s website in Australia has the exact same product is $22 !!

I have written to the company a few times regarding the outrageous discrepency in price and needless to say I have not had a reply.

I was given a couple of Inglot shadows a little while back as a gift and I really like them but I refuse to line the pockets of a very greedy company.

Hi Christine. Thanks so much for your blog!

Do any of these dusty mauves/purple, in particular 344 and 358 compare to MAC dusty puples like Haux, Quarry? and the darker one from Inglot to MAC’s Sorcery, Folie, Blackberry?

I am totally in love with these dusty purples and mauves but would rather go for Inglot for financial reasons if they are pretty similar…

Thanks

Hi
I’m just starting to learn how to do eye makeup and I’m planning to buy INGLOT eye shadow.
Can you recommend 10 colors that would be great for doing smokey eye and natural or nude looks? You know something that I can use for work and going out. My skin shade is NC35-40 and I have the typical dark brown asian eyes. Yup I’m saying it now and proud I have monolid eyes (not sure it that matters).
This would have to be my first palette (hopefully not the last) that’s why I’m was hoping to get help from you.
Keep up the great work. I’m loving your 5 holiday looks!
Thank you!

To quote Bugs Bunny, “OOOOOOH, I”M DYYYYIN’!”
I’m a total pushover for neutral matte eyeshadows, and Inglot’s shade selection is nothing short of jaw-dropping.
I’ve already bought 363, off eBay, and plan to start shopping the Inglot U.S.A. site vedddy soon!
How do you think MAC Moleskin and Inglot 363 will play together?
I’m thinking Moleskin on the lids, and 363 in the crease, and I have green eyes and NW15 skin.

Inglot makeup is amazing!  I got their eye shadows from NY and I can’t wait to try everything out.  I am also interested in the matte colors you showed here, I will have to re-visit Macy’s at Union Square in SF soon.

@Lilac, try Inglot Matte 349!It is the smoothest, creamiest, most delectable greyed taupe shadow EVER!I passed on Groundcover, because I heard that the quality was pretty dreadful, but the color really appealed to me.I’m so glad I waited, and discovered Inglot 349 instead.Matte 358 is also wonderful. It’s similar to MAC Velour, or Bobbi Brown Heather.Matte 344 is similar to MAC Quarry, in my opinion.
