Worst Beauty Product: B&BW cooling foam. I put it one day and broke out in a rash all over my arms by the next morning. Took about a week for it to fade.
From Hate to Love: MAC Bite of an Apple blush. Me? Coral? Never! Turned out to be utterly gorgeous.
Last product returned: MAC Clarity eyeshadow. I liked it at first, but not enough to keep it.
Worst beauty product: Clinique High Lengths Mascara (waaaay too clumpy)
Beauty product I thought I would hate but loved: Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush in Peach Satin (thought it was too shimmery, but looked pretty good)
Last product I gave away/returned: CoverGirl NatureLuxe Foundation (was ok, but waaaay too dark!)
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried? Bioderma acnee cream (it burnet my skin!!!)
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? Chanel Joue contrast Espiegle In Canada we have the euro version which is baked but espiegle is a really nice peach blush!
Last beauty product you returned/gave away? Marc Jacob perfume Daisy (was just not my style, I gave it to my mom)
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried?
MAC C8 STUDIO FIX POWDER, recommended to me as a contour by a mac ma, did not work at all as i found it far too orange and it left orange streaks on the sides of my face
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved?
i wouldnt buy a beauty product that i would think i would hate.
Last beauty product you returned/gave away?
it was so many, i gave them to my poor family members when i went to my parents home country, it was a few cheap drugstore lipsticks, blushes and eyeshadows i brought with me for my trip.
Hmmm the worst? Maybe a tie between MAC’s Mineralize liquid foundation and MAC’s Beauty Marked eyeshadow.
I thought I would hate NARS’ Goldmember cream blush, but it’s absolutely beautiful.
The last things I’ve returned are MAC’s Semi-Precious shadows in Smoked Ruby and Dark Indulgence. Those were the biggest waste of 40 bucks (together) of my life.
I sound like I’m ripping on MAC I guess. Not my intention!
* Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried? Maybelline Define-a-Lash… doesn’t hold a curl! Who wants lashes that stick straight out??
* Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? Maybelline Falsies Flared. I have the Black Drama version and it’s clumpy, but the Flared formula works great for me!
* Last beauty product you returned/gave away? Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Cream SPF 55 – I recently learned I’m allergic to fragrance. It’s funny because most of my stuff is fragrance free, except for my unused bottle of Shiseido sunblock! I hadn’t tried it yet… good thing!
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried?
Elf blush,just didn’t like it
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved?
Wet n wild eyeshadows
Last beauty product you returned/gave away?
The elf blush
I returned YSL Sheer Candy and Too Faced Intensif-eye. I also returned LM eyeliner brush. I should have returned LM vitamin serum but didn’t. I plan to return ELF Studio Fuschia Fusion – too clownish. The LM vitamin serum because while I’m sleeping, I rub it into my eyes. The eye liner brush because it was too long — I’m so near sighted that if I got close enough to the mirror to see, the brush hit the mirror. The YSL Sheer Candy and the Intenseif-eye because they were just ok but nothing to write home about.
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried?
Almay Perfect Match Foundation. Apparently, according to almay, I am orange. (This was when it first came out so they may have improved the formula.)
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved?
I actually have two. Lancome’s Genefique and Urban Decay Primer Potion. I am 22 and I didn’t really think Genefique would do anything for me, but my skin became so soft and smooth. Primer potion was something I got as a sample and didn’t think it would work. Again, surprise surprise.
Last beauty product you returned/gave away?
I can’t even remember the last time I didn’t like something I bought. Beauty blogs are a wonderful things when you are looking at getting something new. 🙂
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried? – Revlon Colorstay Foundation. I don’t know why so many people like it. I wanted to claw the skin on my face off with my fingernails.
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? – Revlon Photoready Concealer. I thought it’d be another cheap, worthless drugstore concealer, but it actually works really, really well.
Last beauty product you returned/gave away? – I’ve never returned any products simply because I hate to return things. I try to use them anyways. The last thing I bought that I should’ve returned is a Sephora brand eyeshadow palette.
My friend used Revlon Colorstay. She wanted to try a new foundation and I suggested MAC Studio Fix. She said she likes Revlon better even though it’s sticky.
Same thing happened to me with Revlon Colorstay foundie. It itched like mad. I can say the coverage is really good and it stuck to my oily skin like glue. Just couldn’t bear the itch.
Please tell me why the Photoready Concealer works really well? I was actually thinking of trying the foundation.
The photoready concealer was a pleasant surprise to me as well. It’s creamy, soft and blens beautifully. I think it works better than a lot of concealers that cost three times as much. Highly recommend it. (I have combination skin, live in a dry climate and genetically have dark undereye circles if it helps…)
The Photoready Concealer just blends really easily (I have a problem with drugstore concealers wanting to stick to my skin without blending or highlighting dry flakes) and is decently pigmented. I thought the color I bought looked too light for me, but it just melted into my skin and matched. I haven’t tried it under my eyes yet, but it’s great for blemishes or redness.
Worst beauty products are : Boscia cleanser, moisturizer and eye cream set for combo skin. NO BUENO (LOL)
Beauty product I thought I would hate but love: Josie Moran Argan Oil. Didn’t think I would like since I have an oily T-Zone.
Last beauty product I returned/gave away: I just gave away my coastal scents eyeshadow palettes, blush and highlight palette as well as some MAC eyeshadows, and various drug store eye shadows and two Milani blushes. I was just on a buying kick and didn’t need any of the products. My niece is a freelance makeup artist and thought she could use it. Some of the products were never used or barely used.
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried?
sephora minx nails… so terrible
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved?
Benefit Highbeam! loves it
Last beauty product you returned/gave away?
nyc bronzer in sunny
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried?
Bare Escentuals/Bare Minerals Mineral Foundation
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved?
Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Powder Foundation – it’s truly helping my acne prone & oily skin heal
Last beauty product you returned/gave away?
Milani eyeshadows – yuck!
Worst beauty product I’ve ever tried? — L’Oreal Color Riche lipstick #343 (coral crystal). Repulsively disgusting smell, colour in my opinion simply awful.
Beauty product I thought I’d hate but loved? — (Hard to say, since I wouldn’t have bought the product if I didn’t love it.) The closest is AVON Smooth Minerals blush in Golden Glow. I was afraid it would look like mud on my face, but it’s so lovely!!! Perfect tan-looking blush.
Last beauty product I returned? — Must have been a while ago, but the beige kohl pencil from the MAC Champale New Year’s collection. It hardly showed up on my skin at all.
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried?
Dark purple lipstick. Not because of the lipstick formula, it’s just the color…
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved?
I won some goodies from Estee Lauder and thought I would hate the shimmery Bronze Goddes bronzer. I love it!!
Last beauty product you returned/gave away?
I gave the Catrice All Round Concealer palette to my sister.
Worst beauty product- there are two, the first is a NYC eyeliner but for 99 cents it hardly counts but the philosophy surfer girl body lotion was a nightmare. Makes you glow yellow smelled really weird- fruity but in a bad way and had barely any shimmer.
Product i liked but thought i wouldnt- Benefit highbeam
Last product returned-ummmm i cant think of even one
Worst product I ever tried: Avon mousse foundation. It made my skin look super flaky. Yuck.
Product I thought I’d hate but loved: Nars bronzer in Laguna. I tend to stay away from bronzer b/c I am so fair, but this was part of a gift I got for Christmas and is very wearable.
Product I gave away: I always give stuff to my daughter. She is 15, the last expensive (for a 15 year old) thing I gave her was my Studio Select foundation, b/c I found Revlon photostay and I like it so much better.
Oops…Revlon Photoready foundation.
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried?: Probably a tie between Revlon’s Ocean Fast Dry nail polish or a blackened glitter polish by Confetti…both were horrible to work with. OR Zoya Savita, but that’s because matte polish just doesn’t work out for me.
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? I was very pleasantly surprised by Maybelline SuperStay lip color. It does stay. It’s not as drying as a lip stain. I just have to make sure my lips are hydrated when I put it on.
Last beauty product you returned/gave away? Well, I gave my sister two Zoya polishes (Savita, and one of the greens from the St. Patrick’s deal) and Nyx Goddess lipstick because I had bought it twice and didn’t notice til I’d used the second one once.
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried? I once bought a Maybelline cool effect shadow/liner in peach daiquiri and the actual color stick inside the tube, was shrunken and it slide out of the pencil part, the thing you sharpen… pitty because the color was beautiful! I tried to make it work but there was no way!
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? ELF’s complexion Percfection, I didn’t think I’d hate it because why would I buy it if I did, but I just didn’t expect much from $3 product but it turned to be one of the few products I keep repurchasing…go ELF!
Last beauty product you returned/gave away?
I just returned the Natural Eye Too Faced shadow pallete… it did not show up on my skin! I expected more from $38 dollar shadow
Worst: L’Oréal Telescopic Explosion mascara– I hate mascaras by L’Oréal. the tubes don’t take enough product off of the wand without you scraping it off so your lashes end up so clump it looks like you have about four giant black spider legs instead of eyelashes. And worse– with this sort of mace-style applicator, you can’t scrape off the extra mascara without bending the very very thin wand and the thin wand leading up to the spiked ball is so flexible you can’t use it to comb your lashes like the original Givanchy Phenomen’Eyes mascara, which I love (despite the time consuming application).
Hate to Love: the Chanel eyeshadow quad in Mystic Eyes. I got suckered Ibto buying the quad at my first adventure to the Chanel counter and when I got home I looked at it and thought It was too old, too boring, and too expensive for me. The quality, too, seemed lacking (the gray and pink are very sheer). I put it away and came back to it a few months later to– the perfect neutral kit. No matter how lazy I apply it, it looks gorgeous. The pink is my absolute favorite browbone highlight because it looks completely natural on my fair skin. I hate obvious, especially white, highlights. The gray is still sheer and boring, but the medium brown in the crease makes it gorgeous on the lid and the dark purple/brown makes a gorgeous liner/smoky color. I might even consider purchasing another when it’s gone.
Giveaway: Stila Smudgestick in Stingray. I wear contacts, and when I put it on my waterline it sticks and my vision becomes blurred. I love the liner, and gave it to a friend of mine who doesn’t wear contacts.
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried? Any MAC foundations… Breakout city. I’m lucky that I got samples, and didn’t have to deal with returns
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? MUFE Aqua Creams. Took a chance on these after other cream shadows creasing on me (paint pots especially). I wear these all the time, alone and as bases.
Last beauty product you returned/gave away? NARS Hungry Heart Duo. Wow, it was so pretty in the store, but it just didn’t work. It was wayyyy too powdery, and the glitter flew everywhere (and I love glitter). I tried different brushes, and different application techniques, but I just couldn’t make it work.
Worst Beauty Product: A tie between NARS Orgasm Illuminator and MAC Prep and Prime-Skin primer-AWFUL for my skin
From Hate to Love: Clinique Skin Illuminator. I did not know how to use it at first, but after reading a few blogs I’ve worked it right into my beauty routine. Now I love it!
Last product return: MAC Big Bounce Shadow-I did not like it at all!
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried? UDPP in Sin. I love the regular UDPP but Sin creases like crazy on my for some reason.
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? MAC Cork. It just looked so blah but now it’s my go to crease shade, very flattering on me.
Last beauty product you returned/gave away? The big Sephora blockbuster palette. It’d gotten raves but the shadows were so chalky. I gave it away.
I had the same problem with Sin! I was so disappointed. 🙁 The regular UDPP is the bomb diggity. I have extremely oily eyelids.
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried? Bobbi Brown Extreme Party Mascara. It did nothing but darken my lashes.
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? Bare Escentuals Prime Time Shadows. They’re in tubes like MAC Paints but they’re not dry on my lids and they last all day. Last beauty product you returned/gave away? Chanel Rouge Allure Laque. I loved it but it bled into the fine lines around my lips. : (
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried? Any of those long-wearing lip colors w/ the gloss on one end. They say that they won’t dry out your lips as long as you apply the gloss on top, but they always manage to feel very uncomfortable on & cake up on my lips. Not attractive.
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? Clinique High Definition mascara. It looked so pretty & natural on my lashes and I had the tube for months before it started to dry out & clump.
Last beauty product you returned/gave away? MAC Pro Longwear Lipcolour. I love MAC, but I’ve realized I just cannot use those long-wearing lip colors, no matter what the brand. Even if I exfoliate my lips first & follow the directions, they always make my lips look & feel so dry.
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried? Benefit Creaseless Cream eye shadows- definitely not “creaseless” on me – terrible
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? UDPP in Eden – I didn’t think the tint of the primer would look good on me, but I love it!
Last beauty product you returned/gave away? Chanel Rouge Allure Laque in Dragon – it looks soooo pretty on Christine but it just didn’t look good on me so I returned it
Worst Beauty Product: Clinique’s Clarifying Lotion 3. That might as well be alcohol. Whenever a customer with oily skin comes in and asks if they should buy that I tell them to start with something milder, because I have oily skin and that made mys kin dry and flakey.
From Hate to Love: I don’t buy things I think I would hate. But, at first, I didn’t like Estee Lauder’s Double Wear Light, and now it’s my holy grail foundation.
Last beauty product you returned/gave away?: Maybelline Dream Matte Powder. Wasn’t horrible, just didn’t do much. I returned it and bought MAC’s Blot Powder instead.
Worst Beauty Product: NYC eyeliner. No pigmentation whatsoever! I know it was a drugstore product and was insanely cheap, but it was extremely disappointing.
Beauty Product I Thought I’d Hate But Love: Urban Decay’s Maui Wowie shadow. I really hated the way the color looked in the pan, but I tried it on with Smog in my outer corner and crease, and I fell in love!
Last Product I Returned/Gave Away: I offered my MAC Freshwater to my mom, but she declined XD It gave me the appearance of dark undereye circles. Me + true blues or dark blues = no-no!
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried? Wet n wild concealer!
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? MAC Blue Sheen eyeshadow from the Semi-precious Jewels collection
Last beauty product you returned/gave away? A MUFE lipstick to my mom.
Worst Product: Neutrogena Healthy Skin foundation/powder. This stuff ate my sensitive skin alive.
Hate to Love: OPI’s Who the Shrek Are You. It’s so ugly! I ADORE IT.
Last Product (Shared): MAC mail polish in Obey Me. I thought I’d love it but the formula was a DISASTER on me. I was terribly disappointed, to the point I definitely won’t shell out for MAC polish in the future.
1. Covergirl eyeshadow in champagne, it was really chalky
2. Clinique High Lenghts Mascara, thought it would be weird because of the brush but it gives such natural looking lashes
3. NARS duo in Charade, the colors just weren’t for me
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried? MAC big bounce shadows
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? elf cosmetics! I had such low expectations but i love their products! Especially their studio line
Last beauty product you returned/gave away? urban decay naked palette. i was so excited for it and then when i opened it, I noticed I already had colors similar to almost every color in the palette 🙁
Worst: Benefit Dallas Blush and Benefit Bad Gal Liner. Whatever formula they use is just terrible on my skin. The blush gave me breakouts and the liner made my eyes water.
From Hate to Love: Fyrinnae Te Amo eyeshadow, I thought it was a boring highlight shade but I wore it out to dinner one night in a smoky eye and it turned out lovely.
Last product given away: Dior Blackout Waterproof Mascara. It didn’t give me the bold and dramatic lashes I crave, so I gave it away.
* Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried?
mac carbon eyeshadow. i went in looking for the blackest black shadow (as everyone on youtube describes it). what i got was a grey (at best) shadow with horrible pigmentation that couldn’t be built up. i much prefer wet n wild or UD’s black to that one.
* Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved?
Wet n Wild shadows. I expected horrendous pigmentation, but I got amazing shadows for such a great price. I find myself reaching for them more than my mac/inglot/UD shadows
* Last beauty product you returned/gave away?
Jessi’s girl nail polish in Wild thing. it had a HORRIBLE streaky forumla and a matte finish. I hate matte finish polishes so i exchanged it for Jessi’s Girl JulieG polish, which doesnt have a matte finish and i love JulieG 🙂
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried? Smashbox lash dna mascara
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? MUFE smokey lash mascara
Last beauty product you returned/gave away? Benefit Cha Cha tint-just didn’t stay on my skin
Worst beauty product: hmmm, I guess Laura Mercier primer, it made me break out.
Hate to love product: BLUSH and MASCARA. I use to boycott ever wearing these before I became a makeup fanatic, but once I went into MAC/NARS and they tried it on me….I was done.
Last product given away: I have given away my coastal scents warm and 1st edition palette and I plan on giving away my laura mercier primer, Benefits coralista and highbeam.
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried? Smashbox Primer. My make-up lasted for MAYBE half the time it would without primer. Also made me look like an oilslick.
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? Humm… probably NYC Smooth Skin foundation? I honestly wasn’t expecting anything from it since it was, like, two dollars. While it’s not the absolute best foundation I’ve ever used, it’s pretty damn good. I’d purchase it again.
Last beauty product you returned/gave away? I usually don’t return things. I think the last thing I returned was a nail polish that just. wouldn’t. dry. I mean, I waited hours. I took a hairdryer to it. I used base coat. I tried a quick dry top coat. I tried those insta-dry drops. That sucker just wouldn’t dry! And then the person tried to hassle me about returning it since I’d obviously used it. Well, no carp I used it; how else would I know it didn’t dry?! I mean, it was a $2 nail polish, so I wouldn’t have been super pissed if I couldn’t have returned it, but at the same time… it’s two dollars. Holy carp just give me my money.
Worst Product: NARS Multiples. My skin eats all the color within minutes of application. What a waste.
Thought I’d hate: Benefit’s Bella Bamba. I didn’t think I could pull off the color with my light/yellow skin, but with a light hand it’s actually really nice.
Last given away: MAC Sonoran Rain. I’m so jealous of how it looks on others and I think it’s a gorgeous color, but I just can’t seem to pull off red lips. 🙁
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried?Loreal De-Crease. It didn’t work.
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? MAC A Different Groove l/g from the Give Me Liberty of London collection. I thought it was gonna be too dark, but it is gorgeous. I love it. I found it in a CCO and got another one last week.
Last beauty product you returned/gave away? I gave my cousin MAC Hibicus l/s, MAC Thrills l/s, MAC Pink Friday l/s, and MAC Love Child l/g.
High End Products:
1. Worst–Benefit Erase Paste–awful on face and under eyes.
2. Didn’t think I’d like but did–Smashbox Photofinish Primer Light. this is great for oily skin.
3. Last product to return–one of the shadow sticks from Urband Decay. It dried so quickly I didn’t have time to blend it.
Low End:
1. Almay Smart Shade foundation–not right shade, didn’t last at all, looked cakey and gross on my skin
2. Maybelline Big Great Lash–my favorite mascara!
3. Covergirl Perfection (?) lipstick in Fairytale. as it wore off I had bits of the color stuck in the lines of my lips–ew!
Worst: Stila Kajal Liner in Black Onyx
Hate to love: Corallista
Returned: Benetint
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried? Lancome Definicils Mascara. I was seriously allergic and ended up with bloodshot eyes in under 10 minutes. In non-allergic categories, I tried the new Giorgio Armani eyeshadows and the glitter fallout was massive and messy
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? Chanel Rouge Allure in Flamboyante. I thought I couldn’t wear red until I found this lipstick.
Last beauty product you returned/gave away? I don’t even remember. Oh, wait, Aveeno Shave Gel. Worst shave gel ever.
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried? If hair counts, it was some Burt’s Bees shampoo or other. When using, it felt like I’d just put a bunch of really gritty honey on my head…I though it would NEVER rinse out!…even after an additional shampoo with a trusted brand and a good hit of my favorite conditioner my dry, curly hair looked and felt like wavy straw for days. Must add, I’m a big Burt’s fan in a few other areas so this was a HUGE disappointment.
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? i.d. minerals original foundation. Still using it, still the best for me. I am lucky to have good skin genes (lol) and this one does the job for me.
Last beauty product you returned/gave away? Believe it or not…Chanel Mimosa nail varnish. I didn’t like the formula and the color did absolutely nothing for me either with my skintone or on a half-dozen friends I tried it on.
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried?
I have hated many products, one of them is smolder pencil by MAC, I thought it would stay in the waterline, it smudged all over my lower lid.
Other is a clinique foundation, impossible to work it out.
Also max factor maskara with the rubber wand, it smelled BAD because of the rubber.
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved?
I think it is toner 2 by clinique (3 step system) I had read so many bad things about it that it contains a lot of alcohol and its bad and such. I am a fan of it!
Last beauty product you returned/gave away?
I tried to give back the max factor mascara but they didnt accept it. I really thought I had a bad tube or that it was opened long ago.
The girl in sephora opened a brand new and it smelled the same 🙁
Worst Beauty Product: Suave Professional Dry Shampoo. The smell is nauseating. why do they have to make the scent so strong and irritating?
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved: Haven’t bought a product I would hate because I would hate it.
Last beauty product you returned/gave away: Sadly, I returned two items, Clinique’s Gradient Blush in Black Honey, it had no color payoff for me. And Guerlain’s Terracotta Bronzer in 03. Very much wanted to love this but it just didn’t anything for me. I’ve tried different brushes, different application techniques but the color never paid off. Too expensive to keep.
Worst Beauty Product: MAC foundation. I don’t know which one it was. Also, I didn’t immediately like my Physicians Formula tinted moisturizer because it would get all pilly, but I think I’ve figured out how to work it.
Hate to Love: BENETINT! I thought I wouldn’t care for it, but I LOVE it!
Last Product Returned: I gave my friend a Lola Lempicka perfume that I didn’t like, some MAC mascara because it made my eyes itchy, and an Organix Moroccan Argan oil hair masque.
Worst Beauty Products: Oh so many I cannot count! I would say the period I went through buying a lot of masks that promised amazing things and did nothing. Also any body scrub that is salt based! Come on – lets all dry out our skin!!!
Hate to Love: A green sparkle polish I thought I would never wear from Zoya, Apple – summertime 2011 collection – Sunshine. I got the collection free.
Last Product returned: A set of Tarte products I got in an auto delivery plan – the colors were horrible for me.
Worst: LORAC bronzer. This was just one massive baked chunk of gold glitter. I don’t understand how anyone could wear it.
Hate –> Love: MAC’s matte bronzer. I gave up on bronzers until I found this one. I didn’t expect to like it, but then the girl put it on me and it was subtle and flattering.
Returned: NARS matte lipstick. I liked the bright color, but it was so drying and uncomfortable to wear.
Worst product – Covergirl’s Natureluxe foundation.. My skin is cool toned, but it seriously looked like a pink mask on my face. The color was so awful I wound up tossing it because I know no one who’s skin is that color and didn’t want to sabotage a friend..
Product that I thought I would hate but love – Maybelline The Falsies Flared mascara. I tried the original Falsies (in the waterproof form) and it was the worst mascara I ever used. But I saw a review from my fave YouTube beauty guru saying the Flared had a drier formula so I picked it up and am in love. False lash effect? No but they do look nice.
Last product I gave away was Maybelline’s Born With It lipstick.. The scent drove me nuts and it make my lips look super flaky
Made my lips* haha, oops I should proofread my comments! (;
Worst product: hard to say….maybe a Smashbox highligher or Smashbox green primer or Revlon Photoready foundation
Thought I’d hate but love: UD Eden eyeshadow primer (totally love it)
Last product returned: MAC Dangerous Cuvee Paintpot (too sheer and the glitter was too big, chunky and obvious)
Worst beauty product: CoverGirl’s Smokey Shadowblast stick. Creased like 2 seconds after you put it on.
From hate to love: I don’t exactly buy things that I thought I would hate…so….yeah.
Last product returned: L’Oreal’s Infallible Le Rouge lipstick just because the color turned out to be ugly.
Hate. A vile coconut scented elf conditioning lip balm.
Hate to Love. Clinique High Lenghts. I lovethe brush cause it gives such natural looking lashes
Returned. Bobbi Brown Cosmic Raspberry lipstick. It was too warm form my cool toned dark circled face.
Worst beauty product: MAC Lustre eyeshadows – not bad if you were wanting sparkly cheekbones….
From Hate to Love: Milani click pen concealer – went out and bought another of that color and the rest for my kit.
Returned: Physician’s Formula eyeliners – color with no depth or complexity? No! I took them back and ran to Ulta for some Urban Decay therapy.
1. The worst is, for me, BadGal mascara. It flaked off on one eye as I would apply it to the other. I would have black pieces of it stuck on my eyeball!
2. Not so much hate, as thought I could never use… bronzer. When I tried it before, I just looked dirty. But between Urban Decay Baked in Gilded and Terracotta Light in Blondes, it makes me look less red and more glowy! (I am way fair.)
3. I returned the Urban Decay Black Palette. They looked so pretty swatched but on my eyes it was a whole other story. I looked like I had two big black eyes. And the Eden primer was too dark for me, if you can believe it!
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried? Wet n Wild Lipstick
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? Chanel JC Blush in Rouge
Last beauty product you returned/gave away? Perfume – J Lo Love and Light
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried? I truly disliked Bobbi Brown Natural Finish Long Lasting Foundation. It does nothing for me.
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? NARS, especially the lipsticks. I was disappointed initially but I’m starting on collecting them, especially the Pure Mattes.
Last beauty product you returned/gave away? I gave away MAC Pink Noveau to my younger cousin. It looks goon on others but for some reason I look weird wearing it. W/ my light olive skin I can pull off some bright pink lipstick but Pink Noveau just makes me look weird.
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried?- rimmel lipstick…just yuck.
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? none
Last beauty product you returned/gave away? strivectin- feels so plastic
Worst product: MAC Painterly PAint pot. I had higher expectations for it but for some reason when i use it as a base my eyeshadow creases like crazy!
Product i thought i’d hate but love: Hard Candy ginormous lash mascara. I thought i wouldn’t like it but now its my favorite drug store mascara
Giveaway: NARS orgasm.my mom was eyeing it so i gave it to her as a birthday present.
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried? ELF tinted moisturizer! I know a lot of people rave about this but man, the moment I stepped out of my house, my face was covered with flesh-colored sweat! Worst experience ever.
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? Estee Lauder eyeshadow in Moroccan Mint. I’ve been afraid of colors for the longest time and after receiving this, I fell in love! It was very sheer and canceled the redness in my eyes and just gave my eyes that gorgeous sheen without looking horrid green.
Last beauty product you returned/gave away? I gave away a couple of lipsticks from L’Oreal to my cousin but not because I hated it but because I felt it suited her skintone more.
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried?
» NARS Pressed Powder & Wet ‘n’ Wild Tinted Moisturizer. I rarely get acne from a beauty product, I usually get acne if I didn’t clean my face properly. But these 2 successfully broke me out!
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved?
» Monistat & Milk of Magnesia.
Last beauty product you returned/gave away?
» My country has a terrible return policy, therefore, I never return any product, ever. But well, I just gave my eos lipbalm to my sister. I prefer carmex, it’s work better on me.
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried? hmmmm…. I don’t think I’ve found a “worst” yet but I really don’t like the revlon illumance quads (the cream ones) they made my eyelid droopy and my eye feel heavy and itchy- plus the skin looked like snake scales after I had the colour on (even as a base)
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? NARS Turkish Delight. at first I liked it, then hated it but now I’m starting to (kind of) like it again 🙂
Last beauty product you returned/gave away? I don’t think I’ve ever returned a beauty product but the two things I would return but haven’t are MAC Dangerous Cuvee Paint Pot and MAC Done Romancin’ Dazzleglass creme….. I hated the lipgloss and I never use the paint pot…
Worst beauty product: MAC Studio Sculpt Concealer – it’s such a thick paste that it makes even more visible whatever it is I intended to hide!
Thougt I’d hate but loved: Garnier rollerball concealer
Last product returned: well, if i could, I would have returned Lancome Hypnose Drama and Benefit BadGal Lash mascara. Both awful for different reasons…
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried? BeneFit BADgal mascara. Ugh! Every tube was worse than the one before it.
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? MAC Bite of an Apple.
Last beauty product you returned/gave away? My Temptu system – my NARS foundation works infinitely better, at least on me!
1)worst beauty product you’ve ever tried?
mac carbon eyeshadow from the venomous villains collection, a £1 eyeshadow from MUA had much better pigmentation!
2)beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved?
Maybelline dream matte mousse foundation, i thought it would be extremely drying, however i use a good moisturiser and it gives amazing coverage and applies well with fingers!
3)Last beauty product you returned/gave away?
i gave away the mac viva glam gaga lipgloss, it washed me out!
Worst: I’m going to overlook all of the crap products I’ve tried from ELF and say Urban Decay’s lipstick. It was such a nice colour and very moisturizing… but the taste was horrid.
Hate to Love: MAC Surf Baby bronzer stick in Billionaire Bronze – I’d gone to MAC to ask for advice about mixing foundations or something to compensate for the tan I got on holiday. The MA just handed me the bronzer and said to wear it with the foundation I already had… I’ve never even considered buying bronzer before because I thought it would look hideous… but this actually works.
Last product returned: An Urban Decay lipstick and Smashbox’s concealer. The employee at Sephora had given me the wrong colour of concealer and it looked orange.
my worst product was a brown mascara by hard candy. yuck. clumpy, and smudgy. 🙁
a product I thought I would hate but now love is liquid cheek tint… I’ve pretty much always hated liquid and creme face products but I saw a YouTube video from macbarbie07 and she used Sonia kashuk liquid cheek tint in poppy so I decided to give it a try and I LOVE it! it has such a pretty, natural glow.
last beauty product I gave away….. was probably some zoya nail polishes. some of the colors I get don’t work out for me, but I love zoya, so I give them away to friends 🙂
worst – clean and clear medicated cover stick (sooooo bad!!!)/elf professional studio liner and shadow stick in glow/pearl…it was not pigmented well at all!
from hate to love – MAC bite of an apple. I was scared of it at first but i realized it really compliments my fair freckled skin.
last product retuned – none, i usually give them to friends or my mom
worst product: sephora collection minty gloss, i thought this would be like my c.o bigelow minty lip shine but maybe better and longer lasting no it was soo sticky and then the glossyness wore off in about a half hour but left a sticky residue and it tasted absolutely HORRID
from hate to love: urban decay UZI eyeshadow got it in my sustainable palette and hated it because of the glitters because i wanted it to be a brow highlight but then i tried it as an inner corner highlight an di love it
product i returned: nothing i think it is a waste of product to return it i try to make it work for me
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried? — Revlon Double Twist Mascara

1)Worst- Sephora Makeup Remover (Thank God its just a sample)
2)THought i hate but love- Will never get anything that i thought i hate in the first place
3)cant think of any
1. Worst beauty product: Tough one. Benefit products in general have been a let down, but one that is still on the market is the badgal lash. Flaky, Flaky, Flaky.
2. Product that I thought I would hate: BE’s warmth. LOVE! It doesn’t inspire love when I look at it in the pot though.
3. I don’t return products unless I feel like financially I can’t afford them at the time.
Worst beauty product: Covergirl Clean foundation. It gave light coverage that was difficult to build and got oily within an hour of wearing it, even though I got the one for oily skin.
Hate to Love: Revlon PhotoReady Concealer. I tried using it on my blemishes and it just drew attention to them. However, I’ve found it completely covers up my dark circles and doubles as a really nice eye primer.
Last beauty product you returned/gave away: I can’t even remember. It’s been a while.
Worst beauty product you’ve ever tried? Aveeno Positively Radiant Tinted Moisturizer – It looked so glittery and orange on my face.
Beauty product you thought you’d hate but loved? Maybelline eyeshadow quads – I actually use these almost everyday. They’re super pigmented and pretty blendable.
Last beauty product you returned/gave away? Maybelline Mineral Power Translucent Powder – It looked so cakey on my skin.
