Cult Nails Always Winning Nail Lacquer Review, Photos, Swatches
Cult Nails Always Winning Nail Lacquer
Cult Nails Always Winning Nail Laquer ($10.00 for 0.5 fl. oz.) is described as a “sheer metallic olive green layering polish with gold and holo glitter.” Â It’s an olive green with a metallic shimmer threaded through the base color topped off with lots of gold glitter, along with pieces of glitter that look multi-colored in brighter light (see the photo taken with flash). Â I did three coats in the swatches, and you can see it’s more semi-opaque, but two coats gives you a sheerer look. Â The formula was on the thinner side but easy to work with, and the glitter spread evenly without having to work at it.
When it comes to a glittery shade like this one, it’s best to let your remover soak on the nail for a little bit and then removing. Â I just use felt soaked in Zoya Remove+ and press it against the nail for 5-10 seconds, and then I do one pull. Â I’ve had good luck with wear on Cult Nails’ line so far (I’ve tested three or four shades in full)–getting about a week’s worth of wear without chips.

the formula looks nice but i never liked such colors…
For some reason this reminds me of that nasty NARS Queen Soft Touch Shadow Pencil. Sheer warm green with with ugly chunky glitter.
Wow! Pretty! 🙂
I love murky green colors like this one. I wonder how it would look layered over black or white polish.
Would be beautiful sans glitter.
I’m “meh” on the color and the Sheen-esque name is the nail in the coffin.
I did not think it was metallic until I saw your last photo. It looked like a meh thin gel base glitter to me until the last photo – then you caught the metallic. But it’s still really thin similar to the blue glitter shade in the OPI Katy Perry collection who’s name escapes me right now. I am not digging how large and bumpy the glitter is in this one. That old love/hate relationship with glitter polish.
It reminds me of alge.
looks too frosty for my taste…
Awwww. What an adorable green. I totally want it now 😛
This also a polish I would knock people down for (in a line, rushing to get it) I would love to layer this over something a bit more opaque
LOVE the colors in this, but hate big glitter bits in something this frosty. It just ends up looking… unpleasantly chunky and gritty.
