For me: I love the neutral + color in the crease combination, because it gives you that pop of color without being completely bold. Â Full breakdown is here.

I copies this look using UD Half Baked and MAC Bows and Curtseys. Not exact but got compliments. 😀

Yesterday, I wore Sidecar from the UD Naked palette on my lids, over primer. I LOVE that colour but it has really bad fallout (how I wish UD would deal with this issue in some of its really great colours like this one, Maui Wowie, MCRA). Anyway, I applied it with my fingertip, as that does seem to minimize the fallout. I put “I Do” from Too Faced’s Romantic Eye palette in the crease and 24/7 liner in Whiskey to line upper and lower lash line. Pinch o Peach blush with some By Candlelight to highlight and New York Apple lightly on my lips.
Ummm I wore Mac Paint Pot Constructivist on my eyes and Mac fluidline in blacktrack on upper and lower lashes…
Mac Gana blush as a highlighter all over my face …
hought this look suited me !
And Guerlain Rouge Automatique in 142 Fleur de Feu Am a NC40 and I t
I didn’t wear much makeup this week, but today I am wearing Stila Gold Glow trio, enhanced in the outer v with Stila Nanda Devi e/s, Clinique Chocolate Lustre e/l darkened with Nanda Devi on the upper and lower lashlines, and black mascara. On my cheeks I contoured a little using Wet n Wild Goddess bronzer and swept MAC Gold Deposit MSF above that, and on my lips I used Wet n Wild Sand Storm topped with NYX Round Gloss in Bronze.
I really like the “pop of colour in crease” look too, it’s my go-to daily look for winter. In summer, now that I’m wearing mostly light, pastelly, fleshton-ey colours I like to go as neutral as possible – little to no eye make up, a nice blush and soft lips. I’m too pale to make bronzer work.
NARS Rajasthan eyeshadow duo with NARS Kaliste liner. The teal blue in Kaliste really brought out the blue in the darker shade of Rajasthan.
This week there were definitely two that really stood out. The first one was paradisco by mac all over the lid with eldorado eyeliner by UD thinly on upper and on lower with a gold cargo swimmable over it with a little gold eyeshadow from the gilly hicks sand storm eyequad on topof paradisco for gold shimmer. Then just standard black mascara. The next one was a pretty neutral. I had mac jest all the way from lid to brow though i rubbed at the top with my finger to smude and lose a little color. Then a medium strip of eyeliner on the upper lash line in NYX karat (i think thats the name- its a metallic bronze and im too lazy to go check if it really is called karat.) and then UD yeyo on lower lash line and mascara with Gilly Hicks hydrangea blush! Sorry it is soooo long but it is 2 looks….
I used mostly BB foundation, Pink Cult blush (MAC) Painterly Paint Pot(MAC), Orgasm lipgloss (Nars), MAC e/s in Vex, Smoke & Diamonds, Brule and / or Copperplate.
The boyfriend’s cousin is getting married this weekend in Fresno.
Rehearsal Dinner:(face) Clinique DDMG, Givenchy Mister Matt primer on one side of my face and Stila One Step primer on the other (to see which controls oil better for the outdoor ceremony on Sunday), Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua B20, Soleil tan de Chanel, Benefit Boing concealer shade 1. (eyes) Lancome Brow Sourcils, UDPP, Nars Sex Appeal blush as eyeshadow, Stila Puppy in crease, Clinique High Lengths Mascara, Diorshow Mascara, Maybelline black liquid liner, Laura Mercier Buttercream Eyeshadow as highlight.(lips) Nars Jungle Red Lipliner, Chanel Rouge Allure in Passion.
Wedding: (face) one of the two primers above-whichever works better, Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua B20, Nars Laguna, Mac MSF Soft and Gentle, Benefit Boing concealer shade 1. (eyes) Lancome Brow Sourcils, Clinique High Lengths Mascara, Diorshow Mascara, UDPP, Benefit Sippin N’ Dippin, Nars Kalahari (darker side), Stila Oasis on middle of lid, Nars Skorpios Eyeshadow pencil as liner, Maybelline black liquid liner to tightline upper lashes, and waterline, Stila Kitten as inner corner highlight, Clinique High Lengths (lips) Lancome Pale Lip with Revlon Soft Nude dabbed on top.
I did a version of your green/neutral look only with navy blue instead.
Rock & Republic Sabotage (golden brown) all over lid, Bobbi Brown Indigo Night (dark blue) as upper-lid eyeliner and in the crease, navy blue mascara, navy blue eye pencil, MAC short shorts (yellowy cream) on the browbone.
Also used Physicians formula happy booster blush in Natural on cheeks and MAC Strange potion lip gloss on lips (my lips are pigmented so it doesn’t come out too corally on me).
I am wearing my new MUFE HD foundation, which I finalllly went out and bought after reading a review here on temptalia….itis the best foundation I have ever used! On my eyes I am wearing honey by UD and just a bit of mascara, pink swoon by MAC on my cheeks and Boy Bait on my lips 🙂
I went for my first baseball game yesterday and thought I’d keep it simple. Dark gray gel eyeliner from Maybelline, black waterproof mascara from Maybelline, Benefit Coralista on my cheeks, NYX Megashine lipgloss in La La, everything set with MUFE HD microfinish powder. I don’t normally use foundation, so I just put some moisturizer on my face.
It would have to be the combo of Antoinette’s Revolution Cosmetics’ colors Gangrene and Damask. I put Gangrene on the inner 2/3 of the eyelid, and then Damask in the outer corner and outer crease. Instead of using a black eyeliner on the lower lash line, I put Musket from the same company–it’s this gorgeous smokey gunmetal shade. It gave depth without being as harsh as black!
That’s one of the best looks I’ve seen on you, Christine. Gorgeous!
Mine was MAC Sun Blonde on the lid and MAC Groundcover in the crease and outer v. MAC Peachtwist (my new love <3) on the cheeks and MAC Bare Again Sheen Supreme on lips.
Not necessarily eye looks, but I’ve been loving MAC shroom eyeshadow as a cheekbone highlighter with any matte blush
For summer and school I’ve also been loving a thin line of black liquid liner and a soft brown pencil smudged in the lower lashline (with any neutral shadows…) and then no mascara on the bottom lashes (I have black hair so you can still see them) and a white liner in the waterline set with my face powder to make it more flesh toned and shroom again in the inner corner
I didnt wear much this week because I worked a lot. Today, i’m wearing
UD primer potion, MAC satin taupe all over lid and crease, bobbi brown gel liner in ink with a cat eye, MAC surf usa on the bottom lid and almay dial up mascara. (i got it on sale today for like $2 at cvs!)
Still my same look as last week which is very low maitenence. Benefit Benetint on my cheeks, Dior Addict Lip glow on my lips, and Buxom Lash Mascara on my lashes! It’s glowy & perfect for summer!
I had a really natural week again with major clean skin routine, good skin care products (day & night versions) with deep masking & a good exfoliating. Only wore my spf tinted moisturizer, cream blush if any, my fav Garden Botanika eye primer many days with no shadow – only it for evening out lid color, dab of Tarte concealer under eye & around end of red nose, and always, always, even if zippo anything but good skin care, my Laura Mercier gel brow product in blond. Lots of lip balm – moved between Fresh Sugar clear and Rose mostly. I might have had some shimmer gray Bourgeois eyeliner on top and bottom a couple days. Enjoying my skin looking so healthy – but then also, I did not have to be anywhere other than market/PO, errands. Worked from home this week.
Today I wore UD Sin all over my lid and crease with MAC Naval in the crease and outer corner, and blanc type to highlight.Black liquid liner on upper lid, UD pencil liner on upper and lower waterlines. Tarte Amazonian Clay blush in Tipsy on my cheeks, and MAC pink lemonade on lips. It was really cute with the coral dress I was wearing. I got a lot of complements including one from my favorite MAC mua(:
Love love LOVE! This combo so going to have a go and re-creating this myself 🙂 x
Pretty booooring but UD Snatch on the lid, Mildew in the crease, TokiDoki liner in Marrone, Haute and Naughty mascara and Honeylove lipstick.
MAC Select SPF15 Foundation in NC44
Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder in Deep
MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack
MAC TLC in Soothing Beige
MAC Cork lip pencil
MAC Yash lipstick

UDPP in Sin, Meow Cosmetics Pink Sand (super pale pink) all over the lid with UD Underground (brown) in the crease, black liner and mascara, with Meow Cosmetics Soka blush and MAC Gold-Go-Lightly.
Wow and amazing DIY post!! and so easy. going to save it to my favs. Thanks.

I’ve been doing a similar look to this for weeks and love it! I’ve gotten so many compliments on it.
I did a mostly neutral eye with just a bit of understated green on the outer corner/in the crease with my new and much-loved MAC Sheen Supreme lipcolor in Full Speed (a bright coral). I’m breaking out the vibrant colors, so bring on the heat, Bay Area! It’s about dang time for the summer to start here 😛
this look is so pretty!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE it!!!
I LOVE this!
