Weekend Plans: I am doing make up for a wedding in Luray, VA and getting to finally go to Luray caverns! I am too excited!!!!
What’s On My Cheeks: I am wearing Ripe Peach by M.A.C.!!! I bought it a year or so ago, but I am just wearing it. For some reason I am just getting into corals this summer.

Haul: I’m trying to be a very good girl, so even though my birthday was last Thursday, I’ve only purchased one thing – one of the new MUFE liquid liners in #11!
Weekend plans: Maybe a movie or dinner, or a trip to the shore (yes, in NJ!), but generally just hanging around relaxing!

Weekend plans: Class, and then a movie-dinner get together with my college buds.

Haul: I ordered 2 UD Tinted Moisturizers from Hautelook since they were only $10 each. I am officially on a no-buy for a long long time.
Weekend Plans: Maybe a wedding tomorrow. Then going to a housewarming party. Sunday hopefully the gym then just relaxing.

On my cheeks: Desert Rose by MAC
Haul: MAC e/s Amber Lights, Patina, Mylar and Signed, Sealed. Helena Rubenstein Wanted eyeshadow duo in 37 Woody rose & pink lace (incredible buttery soft super pigmented eyeshadows with a great staying power. You should try these!), Shu Uemura Eyeshadow N P Brown 873 and Guerlain single eyeshadow in 162 (love them). I also bought foundation from Helena Rubenstein in Vanilla and MAC blush My Paradise.
Weekend plans: I am going to shop some new summer sandals for my 2 year old and I plan to stay outside and play with her as the weather will be wonderful!

Haul: Got stuff last week from MAC’s Surf Baby that I haven’t played with yet – three eyeshadows and the Hibiscus lipstick.
Weekend plans: Hoping for something drama free as well, with some (maybe) beach-and-dog time squeezed in with my man and the new X-Men movie too for the James McAvoy goodness 🙂
What’s on your cheeks: MAC’s MSF in Cheeky Bronze. LOVE this.
Haul: MAC Satin Taupe. I can’t believe how incredible this colour looks! I think it’s become my go-to five minute eye, with some black pencil smudged along the lashline and under the eye.
Weekend plans: Kung Fu Panda 2!!!!! I can’t wait for this, I feel like such a kid 😛 Also, sleep.
What’s on my cheeks: BB Cabo Coral, set with Nars Orgasm for it to last all day. Coral is such a great summer colour!

weekend plans: so busy! a gig tonight. helping in preparing a benefit event for a local soccer team and later taking photos at it. sunday i don’t know, maybe a gig, maybe not. i hope to find some time for studying, eventually!

Weekend Plans: meeting with a photographer and model on Saturday, lots of photo shoot planning, and hopefully new blog posts if I can get the photos to download.
What’s on your cheeks: Nothing yet, but I am considering a bronzer of some sort.
It’s so cute that Mellan gets along with Luna! My two cats get along, but they are always scheming. I woke up this morning, and they were very quiet and calm. That made me suspicious, because they usually pounce on my head to force me to get up so I can feed them. I found out soon enough: the cabinet was open, there was fur on the counter, and the food canister was on the floor, opened and half gone! It turns out that the female cat, Rock n Roll, had jumped up, pried open the cabinet, pushed down the food canister, and her accomplice Jazz (the male cat) pulled open the can so they could gorge on their cat food! I cannot believe how smart and cunning they are! LOL!
Thank goodness Mellan is intelligence-challenged and couldn’t formulate that kind of plan to save his life!
Sharing a cup of tea a sympathy, I’ve spent a sleepless night keeping our giant black cat away from the parakeets. Buddy has to climb over me to get to them which simultaneously alerts and wakens me. To combat this problem I am training my chowxlab and germanshepx to protect the bird. This is getting ridiculous.
Oh dear, sorry to hear that! Are you keeping the birds in a separate room? I have had a whole zoo in my house over the years, and one way I dealt with warring pets was to keep them in separate rooms.
Sooo this is a somewhat embarassing admission but I do have the hamster in a separate room with the door closed. The door has to be closed because Buddy jumped 5 feet on top of a dresser and pushed Schmoo’s cage over with him in IT! After he survived that I wanted to make him a super hero cape, poor little guy. We also have 4 fish tanks, the only room that doesn’t have one is the kitchen. I would feel bad keeping the cat in basement( though he seems to like it there). He’s an indoor/ outdoor cat ( not my choice) and yesterday the neighbor timidly expressed concern about not being able to get him out of her house. He visits allll the neighbors on a regular basis, oh woe is us 😉 Seriously, he poses a much bigger problem then the Nile Croc we fostered.
By the by my Johnny Cash has a GF that lives next door :c) she waits outside our screendoor til I come home and let the
dogs out to play. Too cute.

Got a full set of the sample sized mica powders/pigments from Coastal Scents. I’m ecstatic! My new hobby will be creating my own eyeshadow shades, nail polish and lip gloss with them 🙂 I spent nearly 2 hours last night painstakingly labeling and transferring the 124 (!) micas from the little bags to the jars I also ordered from CS. But the effort was worth it; they look gorgeous stacked on their sides in color order! I also picked up a Chanel eyeliner in Cassis. Really tempted to swing by MAC to try out a Sheen Supreme lipcolor… Someone, please stop me!

Weekend plans: Experimenting with my new pigments and cleaning up ’round the apartment.
On my cheeks? A ton of stuff! MAC Cremeblend blush in Tea Petal layered under Benefit Dallas blush, dusted with a bit of MAC’s Gold Deposit MSF and the Soft & Gentle MSF as a cheekbone highlighter.
Haul: TKB Pearl micas sample pack, TKB Bronzed Gold mica, TKB Versagel (for mixing my own lipglosses), MAC Sandy B lipstick and Essie Buy Me a Cameo.
Weekend plans: Cookout with good friends and good food!!! Hopefully get some writing and pic taking done for my blog. Working on Essie Jag-U-Are and Essie Midnight Cami half moon manicure with flower detail tutorial.

Haul: Rue di Rivoli palette by Guerlain – I spotted it at one of the counters left over from the spring collection and I couldn’t resist! I dunno if I can really get the colours to work though! Also got the lingerie de peau foundation which I like!

Haul: Nothing! I’m on a no-buy right now so I can save up some money for a new laptop. Plus, I think I might go crazy for MAC’s Semi-Precious collection later this summer.
Weekend plans: Seeing my boyfriend’s nephew in a karate tournament and celebrating my dad’s birthday by taking him out to brunch.
Cheeks: Illamasqua Lover. I have officially decided that it is my favorite blush of all time.
Haul: nothing beauty or makeup wise the last two weeks. Oh, did pick up Ecotools Bronzer brush. I have been buying clothes and shoes lately.
Weekend Plans: hoping not to work the night shift (crossing fingers).
What’s on my cheeks: nothing, I’m still in bed.
Haul: I got Becca Mineral Blush in Damselfly, Lush Bubblegum lip eraser, and Chine Glaze mini polishes: Papaya Punch, Electric Pineapple, Senorita Bonita, and 108 Degrees.

Can’t believe it’s Friday again already!
From MAC this week I got a couple of empty blush palettes, Studio Fix Fluid plus a pump, Barcelona Red lipstick, Big Bounce shadow in Count Your Assets and a 242 brush.
In town I got the new Sleek Mediterranean collection – the palette, blush and Pout Polish, plus Sleek Amethyst lipstick, L’Oreal Glam Shine Fresh lipglosses in Fresh Grenadine and Fresh Cassis and L’Oreal Studio Secrets ‘Smoothing Resurfacing Primer’.
I’ve been busy this week accompanying my son to his exams, so I’m hoping for a relaxing weekend (apart from the food shopping) before the next exam on Monday.
I have nothing on my cheeks today as I had to be up and out early to get my son to his Maths exam, and it takes an age to get him out of bed and ready to go out. I did wear a mix of Party Time and Pink Burst on my lips, though.

Weekend plans: Work, working out, going to the Great Mall.

Haul: My Beauty.com order finally arrived. I got Urban Decay Roller Girl Palette & Lip Love in Stung, NARS Honolulu Honey lipstick and theBalm Hot Mama! shadow/blush. From MAC, I got Ocean Dip nail lacquer, Solar Riche Bronzing Powder & Count Your Assets Big Bounce Shadow. I also went to the drugstore this week and got Essie Sugar Daddy nail polish, Went ‘n’ Wild Buffy the Violet Slayer nail polish & Kitten e/s, which looks like a dupe for NARS Strada (for only $1.99!), Rimmel Glam Eyes Trio in Maritime and Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss in Peony.
Weekend plans: I’m going to watch “X-men: First Class”.

What’s on my cheeks: MAC Pinch o Peach blush with a bit of By Candlelight as a highlight and to give a bit of glow to the blush.
I went on vacation this week and hauled a lot, so this is not a normal amount of purchases I make every week! I picked up make-up remover as well as shine shampoo and conditioner from the Body Shop. At MAC I purchased amber lights, woodwinked, nympette, prussian, and bare again. I purchased It’s a Ten leave in treatment and Loreal’s million lashes mascara from ULTA and a Roxy swimsuit! If you have any questions on what I think of some of these let me know 🙂
Haul: I got my naked palette!! finally. An eye cream from Chanel, awesome so far. I feel younger already.
Weekend plans: Getting a new PC and hanging at home. I’m working on a design for a travel makeup bag.
On my cheeks: soliel de tan Chanel as a bronzer and elf’s duo, the pink side on the apples of my cheeks.
Haul: Stopped by Nordstrom and stocked up my skin care essentials specifically Acne Solutions cleansing bar and Acne Solutions clarifying lotion. With purchased I received a gift bonus packed in a makeup bag designed by Trina Turk. Never heard of who this Trina Turk is though 😛
Weekend plans: Prepping for a big presentation next week.

HUGE haul this week (OK I’m done for the month), definitely not the norm but I had a few gift cards just begging to be spent. From NARS: Laguna Multiple, Albatross highlighter & smudgeproof eyeshadow primer (orgasm illuminator & body glow samples). The NARS order is Christine’s fault. 😛 Then from Sephora, I have in my basket to be ordered: Bare Escentuals multi-tasking face in Summer Bisque; Clarins UV Plus HP Day Screen SPF 40, Korres Quercetin & Oak Anti-aging anti-wrinkle oil control treatment, YSL VOLUPTE sheer candy in #6 cherry, theBalm Mary Lou-Manizer, Tarina Tarantino Spaklicity Bronze palette, theBalm Shady Lady palettes – #2 & #3, Stila It Girl palette #2, Smashbox softbox eye palette and a face primer TBD. What’s on your cheeks: Nothing right now, but last week I wore Pink Cult blush (MAC) every day.
Haul: Peter Thomas Roth Firmx Frowth Factor Extreme Neuropeptide Serum (going to try it in comparison to one that claims to be 76% peptides by Dr. Denese that I really like, but I nabbed the PTR one for cheaper and read way better reviews on the PTR one). Still looking for the best eye cream, day and night goes on.
Weekend Plans: Rejoice in time alone at home (houseshare person gone camping)
What’s on My Cheeks: Nars Cream Penny Lane with a pop of white shimmer eyeshadow on very top of high part of cheek bone for highlight.
So very cute – but always is! Lucky doggie to have such a nice yard with ‘his’ pool to swim in!
