This past winter it was Estee Lauder’s Sensuous Noir (longest lasting perfume ever, loved it!), also B&BW’s Twilight Woods.
Now I am wearing Miss Pucci by Pucci. Last summer it was all about Flora by Gucci. I am really loving Miss Pucci, wish it lasted longer though.
Also I want Amber Absolute so bad!
I don’t wear perfume a lot either since we’re not supposed to at my workplace, but when I do it’s often Bvlgari’s Jasmin Noir or (a bit less often) Angel by Thierry Mugler.
Lately I’ve been testing out fragrance samples and I’m really liking YSL Parisienne — I just might have to pick that one up and add it to my rotation!
Marc Jacobs Biscotti, Nina Ricci Nina, and Fresh Lemon Sugar. I like sweet, but not too sweet! I’m looking to branch out into something more musky or with amber. Guerlain’s Shalimar smells really awesome.
i’ve inherited a few scents from mum/grandma, but my own favourite is bulgaria’s amethyste – so light and pretty!
I’m really sensitive to fragrances and only fresh fruity scents keep me from getting headaches. I love Escada’s summer scents, YSL Babydoll & Demeter’s Cremecicle. But what I’m really looking for is a delicious peach scent…anyone know of one?
Does YSL still make Babydoll? That was my favorite send years ago (around 15 years, to be exact), but I haven’t been able to find it at all since then. I thought they’d discontinued it.
Yes they do, it just isn’t widely distributed in U.S., many online Etailers offer it at a reasonable price.
For day I wear “Arancia Di Capri” by Blu Mediterraneo – really lovely orange-y scent (obviously) and for going out I like “She” by Emporio Armani.

I love Philosophy’s Amazing Grace. It’s clean, light, and comforting to me. A great everyday fragrance.
The only actual perfume I like is Ralph by Ralph Lauren. I’ve been wearing Vanilla Lace from Victoria’s Secret for about 15 years and I like various Bath & Body Works scents – Deep Aqua, Sweet Pea, Butterfly Flower and White Citrus mainly.
My special occasion scent is Pure Tiffany perfume. I also use Viva La Juicy perfume but my go to for years has been Bath & Body Works Cucumber Melon body spray.
Chanel Chance, different of Bvlgari, some of Yves Rocher.
Right now my favorites are Alien by Thierry Mugler and M by Mariah Carey. I also love Bath & Body Works Twilight Woods, Anna Sui Dolly Girl Bonjour L’Amour, and the Dark Kiss body spray also by Bath & Body Works. I’m really into the dark musky/citrusy scents right now!

I have and use a lot of perfumes so to make this short my most recent and loved ones are Chanel N°5 Eau Première (summer) and Occitane Eau d’Iparie (winter). I’ve already chosen my perfume for next winter: Voyage d’Hermès (which i find similar to the Men’s Terre d’Hermès – i would stalk a man in the street if he smells of it!)
I wear fruity/floral scents that make you want to bite the person as if they were made out of candy. What I usually have got in my perfume arsenal are almost all the summer limited editions by Escada (Rockin’ Rio, Taj Sunset, Moon Sparkle, etc…), Flowerbomb, by Viktor and Rolf and Pink Sugar by Aquolina ^^
I’m not sure if you have these brands in the USA, but Penhaligon’s Bluebell and Green Fern, Jo Malone Pear and Fresia, Red Roses and her new scent Cherry Blossom is incredible. These two brands make exquisite perfumes and I’d highly highly recommend them.
Then anything Marc Jacobs – all the different Daisy scents, which I lovee, Lola, the sorbet collection, Cucumber, Fig, Basil…love them!
Something cheaper which is still a great scent would be Nina by Nina Ricci.
On a guy I like Tom Ford Black Orchid…I know it’s a ‘women’s’ fragrance but it smells great on guys.

I agree about Tom Ford Black Orchid on men. My fiance wears it and it smells amazing on him.
i love anything fruity like the clarins one or something that smells of vanilla. i dont like anything with rose or lavender in it.

Years ago, I read a statement by Hubert de Givenchy (at least, I think it was he) who said that a true woman of style had no more than 3 fragrances! For years, I adhered to that dictum (not that I think I’m a “true woman of style”, but you can’t blame a girl for trying!). I’ve worn Chanel 19 probably since it was first released but ONLY the perfume…the other forms of this fragrance don’t smell the same to me or on me. I love lily of the valley, so for maybe 20 years, I’ve worn Jessica McClintock in the summertime. I have a few lemony and flowery scents that I use in summer also but my new favourite – and one that will be with me the same way No. 19 is, is Eau du Soir by Sisley. I absolutely LOVE that fragrance. And I also really love Cannabis Rose by Fresh and was given a large bottle of it for Xmas.
That’s an awesome statement! I have to agree: I think that if you only wear a small handful of scents, you’re more likely to have a certain one (or two) associated with you by others–a signature.

Recently? Well from week to week where I live it can be 83 and humid or 29 and snowing. When the mercury goes up I’m relegated to Philosophy and Clean fragrances, as I can become the essence of cloying otherwise. I found a bottle of the EL Bronze Soleil from a few years ago and I love that during the summer, alternated with Clinique Happy. Again hot weather necessitates simple fragrance for me. Miss Dior Cherie or Chanel Chance for the palatable 70’s. Oddly I’ve never gotten complexity or heaviness from Chance so it works for summer.
My favourite is Flower By Kenzo. I also like Be Delicious from DKNY and Noa from Cacharel
My go-to is usually Miss Cherie Dior or Chance by Chanel
For special occasions or for the evening I wear Lola by Marc Jacobs.
I own an insane amount of perfumes though so I change it up every once in a while. but those are my faves.
Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gioia… before it came out it was always Dior Addict 2.
Lily Pulitze- Squeeze is probably my fave ever! Chanel-Allure is second and Gucci-Flora third.

I’m very fickle with perfume. I get tired of or as the seasons change. Right now I’ve got Tocca Brigitte on for the spring. I wear Guerlain Pamplelune for the summer, YSL Parisienne in the fall, and I usually alternate between Parisienne and Stella by Stella McCartney in the winter since Stella used to be my main perfume for years. U need a break from how strong it is sometimes. I also want to get some sort of masculine smell too, haha.

My signature scent is Burberry brit Sheer. I have gone through tons of bottles of this stuff. i like that it’s a good scent for summer and winter. it’s a no brainer.
Lately I have been loving V&R Flower Bomb, however it’s not a everyday go-to for me but I LOVE it!
I mostly have Guerlain perfumes, I started collecting them, a Chanel, and Hanae Mori’s. Right now it’s summer in our country I alternate wearing Champ Elysees by Guerlain and Chanel Coco Madeimoselle, but if it’s an important event or a night out I wear Guerlain Shalimar. I also rotate among L’Instant Guerlain, Samsara, Mitsuoko, and L’Heure Blue, and my Hanae Mori MAgical Moon and Hanae Mori Butterfly.

For the longest time I alternated between Dior Poison (the classic) and Opium. (yes, boring, but what can insay, they are great perfumes) Recently I added Pure Poison and Estee Lauder Beyond Paradise, which I kinda sorta suspect of giving me headaches, but love too mch not to wear.

I don’t wear any anymore since no one seems to notice and it doesn’t do any good for me since I can’t smell it on myself, so I figure what’s the point, lol. However, when the urge strikes, I spritz on Pink Sugar, my favorite.

Ooh, I’ve become so obsessed with fragrances in the last couple years. Most recently I’ve been alternating between Givenchy Very Irresistible and Tom Ford Noir De Noir or White Patchouli.
I’ve also been digging this little rollerball scent I picked up at Whole Foods called Aphrodisia, smells very masculine, but sweet at the same time. I bought it because it reminded me of the Tom Ford private blends, haha, but for a few bucks rather than a few hundred.
Last summer I ran out of my favorite Daisy by Marc Jacobs and my Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, but those used to be my signature scents.

I love oils and oil based butters.
I’m a total perfume slut and have no loyalty to any one at all; I have about 12 bottles of different ones right now, plus a bunch of samples that I use. I just tried Shalimar for the first time, and am madly in love with it. I also love Donna Karan Cashmere Mist right now — a very light, woody floral. It’s sort of become my go-to, at least for now.
In the past, I’ve loved CK One, Miss Dior Cherie, and Carolina Herrera.
Ones I most want to try: Love Chloe, Diorissimo, Estee Lauder Knowing or Pleasures Exotic, or both.
The only two I just don’t care for on me: Estee Lauder Beautiful and Thierry Mugler Angel. They don’t react well with my chemistry.

I am due to write a review on Noir de Noir though it’s not really a ME scent so I find it harder to describe… this is why I don’t review a lot of fragrance – I get so hung up on trying to describe them, LOL!
Oh even as a perfume nut I have a hard time describing a lot of my favorites, I understand! I think there’s a quote somewhere about how humans haven’t evolved the right language for scent. It’s so personal, too; I find it nearly impossible to accurately predict what even close friends will like!

Noir de Noir is a nice scent – very well executed, I can totally tell – but I know it’s not a scent that I’m in LOVE with, so I want to be sure to describe it well enough that at least those who might like those notes and the like will know it’s worth checking out!
MKK is amazing, but I find I rarely wear it out of the house. It’s more of a get-out-of-the-bath, snuggle-into-bed kind of perfume for me.

But I have been wearing a lot of body mists since the weather has been warming up like Victoria’s Secret’s new So Sexy Summer and Bombshell Summer. I also have been reaching for Bath and Body Work’s new scents Country Chic and Into the Wild. Nice new spring/summer body mists out right now!
I’m so intrigued by the art of fragrance, but most perfumes use synthetic chemicals that give me headaches (the bane of my existence!). Plus, I’m not much of a routine person, and when I get up in the morning I usually just brush my teeth and run lol.
The original LaCoste and Rock Princess by Vera Wang are my favorite!

I love gardenia by goutal as well as eau de hadrien by her. I like Juara jasmine and candlenut roll-ons from Terrain in Pa. Another favorite is the roll ons from Acorelle that you can get on line. A lotion I love is Potion lotion because it so heavily scented with carnation that I love. I used to love Nikki St. Phalle but I think you can only get that in Europe and Guerlains Apres Ondee…again Europe.

Generally, I feel most comfortable wearing woody orientals or chrypres, spicey gourmands that are not too sweet. Dark amber, vetiver, incense, figs, sandalwood, coffee, musk, pepper, and magnolia are some of my favourite notes. My signature scents are Vetiver Oriental, Chanel No. 19, Bandit, and Shalimar.

I own too much perfumes to have a regular one! In the summer I reach for Chanel Chance Eau tendre and Guerlain Tiare Mimosa. But I also love Acqua di Gioia by Armania and Givenchy Play,!
I gravitate towards the classics, some men’s scents, some unisex, and I really love the Pacifica line, especially for layering. The new stuff on the market just doesn’t do much for me-they really do tend to smell the same, with a few notable exceptions here and there.

I wear one scent 90% of the time and that is Donna Karen’s Cashmere Mist and I have been wearing it faithfully for last 16 years and counting.
I have about 30 fragrances, but at the moment I’m wearing and loving Balenciaga Paris.
you would find me wearing coco chanel mademoiselle if im going somewhere nice or biotherm eau pure mist, moy my normal sweet choice but the ultiate beachy summer scent 🙂
Alternating between Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb and Stella Stella McCartney.
I have been wearing Stella for 5 years straight and just started usling Flowerbomb a year ago. Love them both.
I also sometimes use MAC Creations 3 (gold) when I go out at night, but I am trying to save it because it is discontinued 🙁
JPG Classique EDP is a favorite of mine, always. The closest to a signature sent I’ve found so far.
I am really wanting to buy Chanel Chance or a flanker, this will be my next purchase, and summer wear.
MJ Blush is often a workday perfume.
Cacharel Amor Amor is nice (I also have the ‘eau fraiche’).
I like/often wear YSL Babydoll (its the pink grapefruity I think, that I love)
Parisienne is on my ‘buy’ list.
Lancome Tresor (or Tresor in Love) is on my ‘buy’ list also, I’m craving peach lately.
