Ooooh – I have the original Shade+Light and have always said the only thing that was missing was a bit of shine. Mind you, all shine isn’t exactly perfect either but the 2 palettes together might be perfection.

Probabaly. But to be hoenst, I loves Kates statemeint on dupes- she puts so much love, research, effort in general nd her time into creating such a quality, not tested on animals- product. So dupes are basically a rip-of, because she does already all the hard work for them 🙁
I kind of like it. I wasn’t expecting anything revolutionary given the name, I knew it would be shimmery versions of the matte colours. If these are foiled or are like her singles I’d buy it!

It’s the “different levels of intensity” that I’m wondering about. For the price they should all be top quality with pigment. It does looks gorgeous, though.
I love it – though I do wish there were a few satin finishes and I guess you might need to buy the original Shade and light palette as a complement.

AHHH I am feeling attacked by how beautiful this palette is right now and how much I really shouldn’t be buying more neutral palettes, but tell us-Is it a permanent addition???

If this performs as well at Kat Von D’s other shimmer eye shadows, this will be great! I feel like for someone beginning to buy makeup, if you had this and the original matte palette, you’d be good for pretty much every day!

I’m so torn on this one! On one hand, it looks like a potential stunner, yet on the other hand, I probably have at least one dupe per shade in this one!
Now this is a great idea! Everybody and his/her mama owns KVD Shade and Light palette, lol . Now there’s a identical shimmer version? If it’s any good I have to have it!

Pretty, but I probably have dupes. I’ll hold judgment till I see swatches. If these are more metallic, I might be tempted.
Looking at this now, with a somewhat cooler head, I’m thinking it’s sort of like the Shade+Light palette mixed itself up with the Monarch palette. Because I’ve got Monarch as well as S+L, I’m starting to think this might be an easy and also wise “miss” for me…I’ve so much stuff that sort of overlaps this and the full on glittery look of some of these might make them impractical in my “real” life (as opposed to the “I have to have this and can’t live without it since I’ve seen it” life).
OMG this KatVonD Palette literally has every single color that I would want together in one palette!! It is so unbelievably, perfectly, stunning! This is definitely one that I am going to have to get my hands on! Oh the beauty to be made!
