Jo Malone Basil and Neroli! It’s very different than the sweet florals I usually wear. It feels so fresh for the Spring

I’m considering purchasing Le Labo 31 Rose…it was the fragrance used at the hotel of a wonderful vacation I took last year. Every time I smell it, it takes me back to a happy place. I don’t know much about the brand but for me the best scents are ones tied to memories ?

Dune, about 15 years ago. My spouse is very sensitive to scent and I’ve become a little that way, too, and no longer wear perfume. I do visit Dune from time to time. ?

Juicy Couture Noir. Sample from Sephora, and unlike 90% of perfumes, this one doesn’t make me sneeze or give me a migraine!

Gonna have to ration it because $110 (CDN) for a bottle is a bit out of my price range right now.

i’ve always been a chanel #5 girl. i wear it to work (a teacher!) even though it’s deemed to be a fancy/evening fragrance. well, i hardly attend functions so… just wear it anywhere!

I was sifting through my samples recently and pulled out a few to trial this week – yesterday it was Serge Lutens Fleurs d’Oranger… not impressed 🙁 The search for a realistic orange blossom scent (that lasts more than an hour) continues.

Have you tried Bottega Veneta Knot? It’s definitely loaded with oranges: clementine, mandarin, orange blossom, and neroli, with a very slight hint of lime for freshness, and a touch of musk and tonka bean to ground the entire fragrance. It’s smooth, creamy and sophisticated. Not powdery or sickly sweet. No vanilla in it whatsoever. It’s Hawaii, S California or S Italy in a bottle. If you like orange blossoms, you’ve got to try this.

I got a Serge Lutens Fleurs d’Oranger sample from Sephora and I didn’t like it either. It’s the caraway and nutmeg spices in it that ruin the scent of the orange blossoms, imho.

Le Labo Vanille 44. It is sold only in Paris, which sweeps me back there every time I wear it. We will be going again in a month or so, and I’ll get another. <3

I love and wear this too!! I’ve just been to Barcelona and went in Sephora and tried Tom Ford Orchid Soleil which smells heavenly so after that now even though it is rather on the pricier side…

Marc Jacobs Daisy. I have both the shimmering body lotion and the perfume. I never wear them together because I find it overpowering and I don’t want to make other people sick lol. I mostly wear the lotion in the summer and I’ll use the perfume in the cooler months. I love the way the lotion has a subtle sparkle. It’s my favorite fragrance and I always get asked what fragrance I’m wearing. 🙂

A little spritz of My Burberry Black followed by a regular-sized spritz of Tom Ford Ombre Leather 16. Love OL16. It reminds me so much of the smell of my Schott Perfecto and that’s exactly what I wanted. Leather, amber, violet, etc. Very sexy combo.

Yesterday I wore Tom Ford’s Shanghai Lily–one of my springtime favorites. Today I’m in the mood for something lighter but haven’t made up my mind just yet.

Hermes – Un Jardin sur le Nil (EDT). I received a sample of this from Sephora and I love it. It’s light, fresh and sophisticated at the same time; it’s not the typical floral perfume. I usually wear Chanel – Coco Mademoiselle but this a great discovery.

Testing a sample of Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline edt.
Yesterday tested Bvlgari Indian Garnet.
It’s been a while since I wore any Bvlgari scents.

Jo Malone’s Peony & Suede.
But…applied Giorgio Armani’s Sun di Giori when I was at Ulta yesterday after hearing a rave review. Very reminiscent of Bobbi Brown’s Beach and Replica’s Beachwalk, I have both of those because that suntan lotion, salty ocean spray scent has always appealed to me. I just can’t justify buying another one in the same scent family so I left it on the shelf.

Atelier cologne bergamote soleil !

It starts out like a fresh lemon, very realistic. Not pledge like at all! And then as it dries it morphs into a more masculine scent!

It’s my summer perfume! Which, in my part of southern Ontario it’s still chilly and cardigan weather. I’m just wearing it out of protest haha!

My fingers are crossed that you’ll be able to get it there Genevieve!!

I can slightly relate as we don’t get a LOT of things here in Canada, because of regulations, or just not coming here.

If you get it, you have to tell me how it smells to you/on you! I’d love to hear it! 🙂

Dior’s Poison Girl. I got it as rearward at Sephora and I’ll probably buy a full size when it’s all gone. It’s a pretty scent for spring. Love it!

YSL Black Opium. It helps me relax after my workouts and its intoxicating scent is great whenever I want to feel confident or like a bad***.

Jenn Avatar

Love Black Opium! It’s one of my favorites. Definitely a confident scent.

Have you tried TokyoMilk’s La Vie la Mort? It’s not quite as sultry as Black Opium but has the same kind of “don’t mess with me” vibe.

Elizabeth & James Nirvana Black, Nirvana White and Bourbon (largest bottles, solid perfumes & oils in the black and white scents).
Gap Close EDT.
TokyoMilk Dark 62 & 10.
Tory Burch EDP, Tory Burch Love Relentlessly.
Marc Jacobs Daisy & Eau So Fresh.

I’m currently panning a bottle of The Body Shop Amazonian Lily. Too Floral for me really. Am even using it as room spray to try and get rid.

Bonnie Avatar

Black Opium yummm I love that scent but waaaait a minute. Nope, that’s wrong. It was next to last. The last was a cocktail of Elizabeth and James White Nirvana and Black Nirvana. Those two are fantastic separate but better together.

I’ve been wearing “L” fragrance from Soft Surroundings. it’s like a sweet-incensy smell that’s different from anything else I’ve found.
