Summer Fragrance- Escada taj Sunset
Unusually for me, I only have just one new thing this week (although others are on their way to me). I got MAC Suave Intentions eyeshadow, from the Love Lace collection. Don’t know why I didn’t get this sooner.
The sun has come out here in the UK, and I’m looking forward to my son’s birthday tomorrow.
I don’t think I actually have a favourite summer fragrance, although I do have a lot of perfumes. I tend to just grab the Body Shop Vanilla if I’m in a hurry though – suitable for all occasions

Ahhh so excited!! Can’t wait for it to arrive. I’m also waiting for a few skin care products to arrive in the mail, because I’ve been wanting to try Mario Badescu for a while now, so I decided to order a few of those 🙂 Oh and my dear boyfriend got me some Sigma brushes as an early birthday present! Omg I’m sitting here realizing how much stuff is coming my way, LOL!
Weekend plans: My family is coming over on Saturday so I’m having a birthday party, and then we’re going to make a lovely meal and go for walks on the beach and café visits on my actual birthday.
Your favorite summer fragrance: My favorite summer fragrance is by far Lacoste Touch of Pink – it’s my all time favorite, and not just for summer!! Just such a nice floral but fresh scent, I adore it!
I’m waiting for my Sakura blush and mineralized foundation from Mac. Mac Canada usually delivers in max. 2 days.
I have a homework for my french class. I have to write a letter to a imaginery friend. 🙂
My favorate parfume is Chanel Allure in any season.

I just got aquadisiac! I can’t believe how much I love it! And I got some clippy stuff in the mail as well as ugg boots and a watch! :0 I have been naughty and spending all my dollars. 🙁

This week I bought essie lilaicism as a dupe for little girl type. I just really wanted a light purple even if it’s not exact. While I was picking up MAC naked and in synch liners I saw a salon had Essie as 50 percent off and buy one get one free. So I picked up chubby cheeks flawless cute as a button and laqured up it would have been 8 dollars but she couldn’t get the card machine to work so she let me have them. yay may have to go back there. I lost love nectar so next week when I go to my first CCO I’ll get that and more goodies 🙂
Weekend plans same as every weekend rent a movie go to the dog park and maybe go out to eat or go out downtown
Favorite summer fragrance is CK one summer
Found love nectar! My awesome coworker spotted it under my car it must have been there all night. I only tore up my house looking for it. Good thing I didn’t run it over.
I was sad yesterday cus Saks had a fashion fix 24 hr sale on 7 jeans for like 70 which is awesome and all the ones I liked sold out in 20min except for one style and I was soooooo happy and placed my order then an hour later got an email saying it was cancelled since they didn’t have enough to fill it. I called them twice hoping I could try to get mad and they’d get me a pair but I’m not good at getting mad. So I’ll just have to check emails more closley I guess. BOO. End rant.
Haul: Nothing this week after last week’s extravagances (bunch of the new Chanel lipsticks and pre-ordered the RBL re-promotes), but I am eyeing some of the new Estee Lauder polishes. I should probably pull back on the hauling, though – I work for the federal government and we’re about to get furloughed for who knows how long!
Weekend plans: Relax!
Your favorite summer fragrance: Prada’s Infusion d’Iris (although I wear it during the winter too, sometimes).
Haul: Bought new Bare Mineral brushes! My other ones lasted 7 years!! Heading to the CCO outlet today 🙂

Today was a fun week for me…I hauled Urban Decay’s 15th Anniversary 24/7 liner set, Too Faced Glitter Glue, 5 UD cream liners, 4 UD liquid liners, and 5 UD eyeshadow singles. And I still get to look forward to my Hautelook order.
This weekend I get to wake up at 5:30 am to bring my students to the Brain Drain competition…early day but it’s such a fun time!
Haul: All 3 coloured MAC Opulash Mascaras from the Wonderwoman collection + Amazon Princess Blush
Weekend plans: Spending time with my sis who’s visiting from UK

I hauled Candy Yum Yum lipstick. I’m going to try out Studio Care Blend Powder, and I picked up a backup of Play It Proper Beauty Powder. I’m just waiting for the UPS man to show up with my goodies!
Weekend plans: Nothing special. We have company coming Monday and Tuesday, and then we’re heading out on Thursday to visit our parents for a couple of weeks.
Favourite Summer Perfume: This is a toughie.. I love Burberry The Beat as well, Christine, but I like it for winter. In the Summertime, I’ll wear Ed Hardy (The first one, I don’t know if it has a name), but if it’s a cooler day, I’ll wear D&G Light Blue. Oh, and I’ve gone through a couple of LE Escada fragrances in the summertime as well.

Weekend: My sister-in-law and niece are coming to visit. And going shopping with my hubby to complete our wedding registry.

Weekend plans: working and studying for a test on the musculoskeletal system and female reproductive cancers (nursing school is SOOO glamorous…)

Haul: I got my first Jack Black lip balm and Im in loooove! I also got two new nail polishes and…I think thats it. 🙂
Weekend Plans: Im going to see Your Highness tonight, and then Ill be working/studying/doing assignments the rest of the time.

Haul: As for makeup, I only got Going Dutch l/s as Back to Mac and an oldie e/s, Warm Chill. This week was a nail polish week:
– first I got Orly minis in Gilded Coral, Fancy Fuchsia, and Royal Velvet
– and today some Color Clubs: The Lime Starts Here, Gimme a Grape Big Kiss, Glitter Envy, and Wink, Wink, Twinkle
For summer I need some citrus! I think I’m going to get a small bottle of Bergamotto di Calabria by Aqua di Parma.
I’m just waiting for Mac info. The Surf Baby is going hit my counter May 2, yes, in 3,5 weeks, and there is not even a color story?
Illamasqua creme color quad in #01, UD liners in Crash and 1999. And I picked up my Quite Cute pieces, I only kept MM and the Giggly blush. I chose to return Playing Koi and the pink polish. Playing Koi is a major flop and I have an OPI polish that is very similar to the MAC one.
From the Quite Cute collection I picked up Naked lipliner and Miss Behave blush. I also grabbed a Ravishing lipstick while I was there.
My family is in town to visit for the weekend and we are going to run a 5K that’s supports the local rape crisis center.
Favorite summer fragrance is the classic Clinique Happy.

Mellan is as cute as always!
I hauled a lot of Mac goodies: coygirl and gingerly blushes, creme color base in shell. Lipsticks in hue and viva glam 2. Eye shadows in dazzlelight, omega, and sable. Lipgloss in underage.
I came home from work yesterday and my 2.5yr old son had gotten into my favorite mac palette! He took one of my eyeliners and dug into almost all of them. I had to hold back tears 🙁 I can’t even tell you how sad I am!

Summer fragrance- I wear Stella by Stella McCartney everyday, but in the summer I try to lighten up with D&G Light Blue or MAC Turquatic

P.S I just found out Dior has a rewards program…DiorDiva.com you can redeem your receipts for Dior beauty products and recieve free items based on the number of points you earn…$1=1 point.
Haul: A very generous MUA’er got me a Inglot palette. The closets store is a 10 hour commute so it’s not an accesseble brand and the website only ships to the US currently. 407 PEARL and 15 SHINE are very similar shades. 15 is just a tad darker with a more golden reflex, 407 is a smooth finish on the other hand.
Also Walmart haul (haha) – Physicians Formula product are marked up by 40% to 50% in Canada. I was in Walmart and they were marked down below the US online price. ^_^ I got Happy Booster™ Glow & Mood Boosting Powder in Translucent and both the Happy Booster™ Glow & Mood Boosting Blush in Rose and Natural. Also picked up an aDesign style point kabuki brush they are now selling in the Spa tools brush line. Super soft synthetic.
Weekend plans: We shall see…
Your favorite summer fragrance: Harajuku Love, I don’t own to many perfumes but I love florals for the summer.

Haul: Estee Lauder Double Wear Light set that also contained a Double Wear concealer, Spotlight Skin Tone Perfector, and a smallish foundation brush for only $37 (!). From MAC, I picked up Play Time lipstick, Quite Cute lipstick, Sakura blush, and I ♥ U plushglass. I almost didn’t get Play Time because of the suggestion that it looked similar to Style Curve (which I own), but I think it looks waaay different. More pink-toned with a really subtle flash of purple. I seriously love it. Quite Cute looks terrible on me, but I wanted it to add to my purple lipstick collection. I’ll figure out a way to use it…
Weekend plans: Visiting with family from out of town on Saturday. Later that night, hitting up the DC Armory with like 10,000 other people to see Tiesto. I’m scared I might die in that massive crowd.
Summer fragarance: Still loving Flowerbomb.
Haul: I bought 2 shirts yesterday that were on clearance for $9 and $5, and I’m waiting for my EnKore Brush Set from Crown Brushes to get to me, but other than that, I bought some boring office supplies (notebooks, pens, colouring books)
Weekend plans: Film a few videos for my YouTube channel that has been neglected for over a month because my face has been purging itself 🙁
Your favorite summer fragrance: I really like body sprays for summer in fruity/citrus-y scents.
Haul: Burberry Pearl Blue e/s, Khaki e/s, Blush l/s, and Cameo l/g and Deborah Lippmann Between the Sheets (thanks tax return!)
Plans: Bachelorette weekend! My boyfriend will be out of town, so I plan on uncorking a bottle of wine (or two), and doing some spring cleaning. (Yes, it’s sad is that this is fun/exciting for me.)

LOL, yup! There’s a little black spot on his ear, which made it really easy to follow him among his seven male littermates!
Haul: Nothing! Was a good girl in Vegas, avoided Sephora and ran out of the MAC Pro store as soon as the urge to buy kicked in. I’m ordering stuff this weekend, though. 😉

Favorite summer fragrance: Most likely I won’t wear any in the next few months. My abuela traumatized me by washing herself in perfume all the time, so when some lady walks by smelling like she used half a bottle of something horribly strong, I want to punch her then run away screaming bloody murder.
Haul: I ordered MAC Candy Yum Yum and I cant wait to get it!
Weekend plans: I really want to sleep all weekend but I have to get my taxes done, go food shopping and visit my grandma.

If you are studing for the bar, just study, even though i luv your blog,you shouldn’t be doing it you should be studing. T.ake it from a Mom who knows.
There is plenty of time to do both 🙂 Everybody needs something fun to do to help break up the studying, de-stress, and inject some enjoyment into their life. I study as much as I need, and if I need more time, I blog less – it’s that simple 🙂 I’m really good at balancing my time and knowing when/where things need to be prioritized. For example, most start studying for the bar after they graduate – I’m studying four months in advance of the bar, because I really want the material to sink in and stick. I’m definitely not the type of person who could study 18 hours a day everyday with nothing else going on!

so far I have enjoyed my ELF products and I am very happy w/the new EUKORE Brush set that Crown Brushes came out with this week!! I don’t know what to say yet about what I got from The Body Shop and Frangace.net, I haven’t tried them yet but once I do, I’ll let you know about it :o)
This weekend I am going to spending RESTING! I order some LUSH products so I hope that when I go home after work there will be there waiting for me o yea!

Weekend plans: My boyfriend’s drama club made it to states, so I’m going to see them perform saturday, and then work all day sunday!
Your favorite summer fragrance: Not a fan of ‘summer’ fragrances. I like heavier orientals, and wear them all year round!
Haul: the Real Techniques starter eye brushes from Ulta, China Glaze Paper Chasing (beautiful clover green!!) and an NYX shadestick. It’s also a jazzy green. Got new Tweezers at Sephora!
Weekend plans: work on Saturday, vegetable garden shopping and seeing my friend’s band in Brooklyn!
Summer fragrance: I love citrusy, grassy scents but haven’t found one I like yet!

Your favorite summer fragrance: The only two I wear regularly are Escada Moon Sparkle and Bath & Body Works Sweet Pea. I don’t have much of a fragrance collection lol.
Haul: Lancome Color Design lipstick in Fuchsia Clutch and Groupie, Guerlain KissKiss lipstick in Rouge Opera, Stila Lip Rouge lip stain in Beam, and YSL Rouge Volupte in Rose Culte (#11). A little lipstick obsessed, I know….
Plans – heading to the hot springs 2 hours north of here. We’re getting hit with snow and want to soak in some warmth!

Favorite summer fragrance: I don’t really wear perfume, but a friend of mine bought me L’Occitance Cherry Blossom spray. I find myself liking the scent, but I don’t think I’ll repurchase it, because I am not a perfume girl.

Yep… I bought them coz of your swatches! And they’re gorgeous! Though they seem to be a bit darker than I expected – I fix the Korres ones by apply less and wear NARS Turkish D. over the Flamingo to make it paler and milkier (milky pink seems to be popular here lately)
Weekend Plan: Spend time w/ family, the boy, and drawing practice (I’m studying in a beginning jewelry design course)

OH I also went to MAC the other day and bought MSF Natural in Medium, brush cleaner, and the 187 brush. I’m a bit concerned because it’s been shedding – I’m hoping it stops over time!
I ordered the Candy Yum Yum lipstick, Naked and In Synch lip pencils, and the Pink Cult blush from MAC. They haven’t been shipped yet, but hopefully that will happen today.
Haul – 2 more Clarins products…Skin Illusion foundation and their gentle eye makeup remover
Plans – the gym, the farmers’ market and some really good cooking – oh, a a very sorely needed pedicure!
Summer Fragrance – either Roots Spirit (lovely lemon scent) or Jessica McClintock (it smells like lily of the valley, which is my favourite flower)
I really love the Burberry Beat…..very nice fragrance, mine is almost done..

Walgreens selling Wet-n-Wild lipsticks for 69 cents! And the Comfort Zone palette has gorgeous greens and neutrals. Thanks for introducing me to a great quality, low price brand!
Haul: 3 Sonia Kashuk Brushes- the blush brush, flat top brush and the small eyeshadow brush and I also picked up NARS Orgasm Polish! I got my nails done today and decided that I NEED CG ‘Ruby Pumps’. I think its a need….

Summer Fragrance: I wear the same fragrances year round. I really love Karma from LUSH and Diesel Fuel for Life at the moment! Flowerbomb is my permanent signature scent though !
Haul: Sephora Airbrush brush set (can’t wait for it to come in the mail!) and 2 loreal infallible lipsticks…kinda meh on those.
Plans: my bachelorette party tommorrow! spa day and then out with my girls! woohoo!
summer fragrance: don’t laugh, but i love Dove’s go fresh in burst – so light and fresh!
Haul – Butter London Lady Muck, OPI Femme De Cirque collection, By Terry Baume de Rose, Dr. Hauschka Eye Countour Day Balm. And the cheapest item is the star of the group -the new Revlon Crazy Shine nail buffer. I have used various buffers before and the claims on the package seem lofty for a $2.99 buffer. I thought “400% shinier than bare nails” had to be embellished. Well, they’re not lying! To my surprise and with little effort, my nails are shinier than Seche Vite top coat! Run, don’t walk to your nearest drugstore, it is deserving of Holy Grail status!
Weekend plans – Writing some papers for school and cooking out on our new grill.
Summer perfume – Currently searching. My favorite perfume is Michael by Michael Kors. Any suggestions for something similar, yet summer appropriate?
I have a rather large haul for me as I ordered a bunch of the Mac Quite Cute stuff. I bought Playing Koi Lipstick, Play Time Lipstick, and Candy Yum Yum (of course!) I also bought all 3 of the mineralize blushes. I also picked up a bottle of Essie Turquoise and Caicos.
I don’t have any plans. My significant other is on call all weekend so we can’t really go anywhere. Maybe I will start reading a new book.
My favorite Summer fragrance…I have a few. Burberry The Beat and Miss Dior Cherie. I also still love my Vera Wang Princess.
Haul: I think it counts before it arrives 😉 The Glamcor lighting that I ordered last week showed up – It’s pretty cool! I’m excited to start filming with it. Other than that a few odds and ends – The Orange Crush shadow and gloss from Estee Lauder (holy how I love it) and a few more click-style highlighting pens for a comparison/review video I’m doing on them.
Weekend plans: Don’t know yet. Lots to do… Lots of options. Some of them depend on the weather (which is gorgeous at the moment).

I just bought Nars Orgasm blush today, soo excited to try it out. Also since I was at Sephora, I picked up some Urban Decay eyeliner in Deviant. Its a beautiful blue color.
This weekend I am totally relaxing, and getting caught up on some organizing and housework!

Weekend plans are getting out spring wardrobe and house work. Favorite fragrance for summer- Burberry London.

Plans: Saturday I am planning a laundry/housecleaning day, going to see Jersey Boys on Sunday.

Nail polish: Essie “Borrowed and Blue”, Orly “White Out”, Dior “Nirvana”, “Perfecto”, and “Blue Label”. Fekkai Protein Rx shampoo and conditioner.
Weekend plans: RELAX after working 14 days in a row!
Favorite summer fragrance: it’s always been a tie between Chance Eau Fraiche and J’Adore.
Haul – 2 Clinique Chubby Sticks, cherry and watermelon. Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow Box palette. 2 Orly nail polishes, Lunar Eclipse and Halley’s Comet. Also ordered some stuff from Sephora, hope it comes Monday. Something to look forward to!

– Cutie Quad – I put on the whole look in the store, before buying and I didnt have probs with swatching and getting color i’m brown skinned (NC45 studio tech) and it looked nice. The makeup artist thought the purple looked nice especially. It actually reminded me of the eyeshadow trios (togetherness) from In The Groove Collection. I wasn’t going to get the quad at first. but since I got the lipsticks, I thought, why not get the whole look. I didn’t get blushes tho.
I thoguth this would sell out really fast but gas is high so I think people are cutting back on shopping to use that $$ for enjoying the weekend with.
Weekend plans – Going to a festival this weekend, it only cost $10 to get in and lots of singers and artists will be there performing on stage, so excited! And then gym, pool, look over some microbiology notes for work.
Summer fragrance: I don’t use perfumes, but I like Bath & Body Works Body sprays, and i’m using Dark Kiss & Midnight Pomegranaten(its from christmas, lol!! I still have some left).
Haul: Urban Decay Primer Potions in original and Greed in the tube, Benefit’s Hello Flawless, The Porefessional, Dallas, and Some Kinda Gorgeous, and Wet N Wild I’m Getting Sunburned.
Weekend plans: Playing catch up with homework and hopefully getting an exercise ball and a yoga mat to use with The Biggest Loser game.
Excited for: Having lost 10.8% of my body weight in 12 weeks. I still have a long way to go but it’s super exciting!

Weekend plans: A friend’s dog stays at my house until the Easter Weekend, so I take him for a walk, play with him, exercise some tricks and habe a great time with him.

Haul: This is a big one for me! Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation, Rimmel Sexy Curves mascara, L’Oreal Magic Perfecting Base that came with the anti-redness version as a bonus, Rimmel Midnight Blue nailpolish, Sally Hansen Mint Sorbet and Celeb City Nail polish, L’Oreal Baby Blossom blush and Garnier Fresh Toner.
Weekend plans: Finish writing my two final papers (1500 words and 3000 words), read and go for a walk.
Your favorite summer fragrance: I’ve never really gotten into fragrance, but recently I’ve been wearing B&BW Sweet Pea.
Haul: absolutely nothing. I’m saving for a big haul next week. Just got in the mail Sephora VIB 15% off card and invite for a free tote! And Bobbi Brown F&F sale next week. Came in just in time to replenish my lotions and potions.
Plans: hanging with my two favorite girls.

Haul:MAC Fun Bathing lipstick and Easy Lounger lipglass from Ebay since from LE To The Beach collection. Also went and grabbed items from the new Quite Cute collection at the MAC store. I purchased the Cutie quad, Sakura mineralize blush, Play Time lipstick, I LUV U lipglass and Ice Cream Cake nail lacquer.
I also bought a pair of Juicy Couture Cali flip flops and a killer pair of wedges from Rock & Republic(which were on sale at around 75% off)!!!!
Weekend Plans: Doing some research to find a teacup pup. Also plan to take pictures of clothes to put on Ebay and other items for Craigslist! and research being a consultant for a home party company just not sure which one.
Fav Summer Fragrance:Ed Hardy(think its the first in the pink tube) and Escada Limited Editions. I have bought in awhile so need to go check in to it.

I’m starting to think about waiting til next year. Money is tight right now. And it’s not like I’m getting pro discount! I just have to find where I can get products like Illamasqu and Inglot here in the US. The money I would use on a hotel and car I can use on products,etc.

A lot of Illamasqua is sold at Sephora, and you can buy Inglot both online and through their boutiques in the U.S.!
The Sephoras in St Louis do not carry Illamasqua. Where are Inglot stores? I assume that I can order online but wasn’t sure about brands in other countries.

I picked up all 3 Mineralize Blushes from the Quite Cute Collection and the Lustre Drops in Pink Rebel! I can’t wait to experiment with those little suckers! I have never owned a liquid highlighter.
I have 3 MAC stores nearby and they were all sold out of Candy Yum Yum but the Pro store said they are expecting another shipment this week and I put my name down on a list for one! Yipee!!!
